I did all the usual things, log off, remove the battery, pull the plug then reboot to no avail. Then I googled the problem. It said to hit escape numerous times while the unit powered on and it would give me the option to reset the laptop. I got three options. I chose the one that said "This option will keep all your files, folders, email and personal files. I did it. When it finished I could indeed get to my home page. I opened my email and found it had deleted every single one of my sub folders. I have put every single personal and professional email in these sub folders for the past 20 years. I was devastated. I took it to Showtime Computer in Hudson NH. They absolutely couldn't have cared less. They didn't even want to turn it on and look at it. Didn't even want to try. Then I went to Best Buy Geek Squad where I bought the unit. They tried but couldn't figure it out. Then I googled Computer repair and saw that Apex got good reviews. Well let me tell you I couldn't be happier. Wicky Chan was patient with me, listened to my problem and said he felt he could get my sub folders back. His employee Maurice worked on it. In one day he had all my sub folders back and got me the software I need to back my info up automatically so this never happens to me again. These guys are honest, professional, talented and priced very reasonably. 25 years in the business. I absolutely couldn't be happier with the service I received. They have a customer in me for life!

Horrible experience. Will not shop in this store again and am considering non-apple product going…read moreforward. I went to the store purchasing 2 iPhone 17 Pro Max. The guy in the entrance asked a few question and took me to the pickup counter, stating once the staff finish the person before me, the staff will help me. So I waited, the lady finished previous customer and just stood there, not asking me "Can I help you with something?" I waited another 5 minutes and asked her if she can help me with the purchase. She acknowledged with 1 word "yes". I was a straight, quick in & out guy. I told the young lady that I would like to purchase 2 iPhone 17 Pro Max unlocked, 256G, pay in full. "OK" is the only response. She did her thing on the sales terminal which I think is an iPhone. The staff in the backroom brought 2 iPhones out. She scanned them and just stared at me after. Not sure what to do next, I paused for a minute, then brought out my wallet and my credit card, she still said no word and continued staring at me. Only after I handed her my credit card, she openned her mouth with "Is this the card?" Then took my card and did her thing. Then I realized I ordered 2 blue phones and it can get confusing if I give to my uncle and aunt as gift. I asked her if I can switch one of the phone to orange color. She responded "You already paid for them". I was like "wow, wtf, do I owe you money or something?" in my mind. Eventually, we did a color swap on 1 of the phone. The last thing I needed is the printed receipt. She gave me the swap receipt not the sale receipt. I have to go back to the store and asked her to give me the original receipt. With this kind attitude, this young lady, possibly a college kid, is ruinning apple and apple store's reputation. The attitude is this "I work in apple store. I am better than you. Don't bother me." Spent 2400 bucks for this kind attitude. WTF?????

Poor customer service. I went for a screen replacement ($279). Was given a four hour wait time. Ok…read morewell at least they're honest. I return the next day expecting to pay quickly and leave. Instead i was directed to the waiting table, had to check in, and finally flag someone down to get helped. Meanwhile they are doing brisk business over at the pickup desk. Why was my repair not also something quickly retrieved at pickup? It makes no sense to makea customer wait 45 minutes to pay for a completed service. Next time I'll use a non-OEM part and get the service much cheaper and faster at the kiosk just down the hall.

MAJOR FAIL! I called for a custom build, talked with Kowan,…read moreexplained I wanted to shop local and keep business in the community. Went in to see him to confirm, he said they could clone my existing drive to the one they're building. Offered a cloned drive I made for backup. Said to preserve drive D partition above all else as it had necessary work files. He accepted it. Heard nothing. Then heard they waited for parts. Said I'd be gone for a week+, gave them a date I'd be back. Wasn't ready. Told they were having trouble with drivers and updates. Again explained to preserve drive D partition above all else. I could install software, but D had all my work files. Called again. Still issues. Two weeks+ go by. Finally am told they have the machine ready but Oops! They reformatted the my entire drive. You mean the drive you were going to clone from? The one I called several times and repeatedly said to preserve drive D above all else? Yes, that one. Got to the store and, oh, my gosh, nobody knows nothing. Kowan claims he just took the order, didn't do any work on it, yet every time I called somebody else was working on it, including Bill, their top tech guy, who admitted yeah, they made a mistake. A MISTAKE? Nobody kept notes? You didn't call to confirm what I wanted when you didn't have notes from the last person to work on it? You didn't have the customer's original work order to build from? You just passed the machine around and slapped things in but nobody kept notes on what was suppose to be done? Final tech to touch it knows nothing. Said "I was just given a drive. I didn't know I wasn't suppose to use it." Worse, they said I could bring in my working system and they'd clone it to the new build. WHAT? I'm going to trust the cabbage patch crew with a working machine with necessary files on it? Worst, they didn't make any attempt at making things better other than the above offer (which I couldn't trust them to do at this point). Just refunded my money, and I had to ask for my now worthless disk back. I'm sitting here shaking my head as I write this. I rarely find this level of incompetence in a business. STAY AWAY! FOLLOW UP TO BRIAN G'S RESPONSE: Sorry, no, I never gave verbal approval to wipe and reload. I gave approval to put in a new drive and copy over what could be copied over. If apps could be copied, great, and preserving the data on D was paramount. Nice rebuttal on your part, but also inaccurate on your part: I contacted Showtime several times for updates, Showtime never reached out to me with questions or concerns. At one point I was informed there was a problem with the drivers, but I never gave verbal approval to wipe and reload the drive I brought in. This is another example of a communications failure on the techs' part. Combine that with the techs passing the buck attitude when I went in to find out what happened and this remains a MAJOR FAIL!
