This place is amazing so don't let these few reviews from 10 to 15 years ago scare you. I've been going here for a few years now. I've bought several laptops, a few VR headsets, Apple TVs, a couple iPhones, and many other misc things, including a gold heart bracelet. Never had problems with anything. I returned an iPhone and iPad without any problems. They are very helpful and I think Bernardo has been in every time I go so I know him best. They can also upgrade your current computer. read more

Video Thunder (or, as it seems to be vaguely named now, "Video and Used Electronics") is a strange, somewhat sketchy place. The videos are fine; it's the used electronics angle that seems somehow off and makes me a bit uncomfortable. I like renting things here. They get at least one copy for their shelf of just about anything new coming out, however obscure, and each Tuesday (new release day) is rent-one-get-one day. Each other day is rent-2-get-1. The most important thing about renting stuff here: somehow or other, they get around the hurdle of "rental editions" and new-release delays that give Netflix and Redbox their hoops to jump through. Here, you can get the same, proper edition, with all the extra features intact, that you can get buying it new at Best Buy as opposed to those infernal rental editions that have all extras removed. This keeps me coming to Video Thunder whenever there's a worthwhile release that I know to be from a company that does the rental editions (Fox, Warner Brothers, Disney). For those who wish to know, there is also a room for adult videos, though I can't vouch for the quality of their collection; I haven't really scoped it out as the opening to that room just seems so very, very skeezy. While I like renting here, I don't really advise buying. The used electronics angle seems to operate like a pawn shop, and while I'm no pricing expert, the prices really don't seem so great; and to briefly look at the products available, I don't have a very good feeling about their condition. Like any video store, there are used movies for sale, but their prices aren't very competitive at all, and I once got a 2-disc edition of a movie with the 2nd disc missing. read more

Scammers. Sold a like new ps3 controller to them and when I returned to sell more things they had said my controller came back defective and had to pay them back and got back a controller that was not even the one I sold them. Now I'm out the money and the controller. SCAM. Also know somebody who sold a ring there for 75 next thing you know it's up for sale there for 500. Great honest employees doing goodeeds everyday! read more

I think this place Is only geared for junkys. . Its a pawn shop in discize. I bought my son 3 used games one of the games weren't even in the case. I called them an the maneged was a total punk!!! Terrible service, sketchy place at best. Went in and looked around, employees complaining to their boss in front of customers. Waited a while, asked if they had an item. Was assured yes but to verify the correct part- and they didn't pull out the parts we need for us to look at. They said to go home and pick up the laptop I'm working on for a client. I did so and when I returned, the same employee tells me, oh, we don't have that part. No apologies, no explanations- and I had the feeling he wasn't telling the truth considering he said off the bat they had it without checking. So this guy wasted my time twice and wasted cost of commute. What a bozo and what a joke of an establishment. Last time I'll go there. I've gone to their place in previous times and had passable service but their devices break right out of warranty. Not worth the time, guys, unless you trust liars and money-grubbing halfwits who don't know what they're talking about. read more

the only decent thing about video thunder (video and useed electronics) is the movies, games. The service and Employees suck the people that work there are extremely rude and can hardly understand english. And it really is a sketchy place and the used electronics, and systems are not the greatest they suck badlly. They also have a n adult Video section and its a little skeezy looking and much to choose from too read more

This place has definitely gone downhill. Went in today and there were two guys working that didn't even bother acknowledging us when we walked in even though we were the only ones in the store. One of the guys was following the other around vaping and blowing smoke in his face. WTF? The whole store filled with smoke and the other employee got angry and walked outside. Meanwhile the vaper continued and didn't acknowledge us at all. We ended up leaving because we couldn't stand the employee anymore. Seriously, you guys let your employees walk around blowing smoke into the air all day? wtf is all I can say. read more

This review is for the new Manchester NH Location on South Willow St. Last week I bought an iPod Classic for almost $200 and when I tried to turn it on in the store, it didn't do anything. The manager told me it just wasn't charged and assured me it was in perfect working condition. A few days later I charged it up and started listening to music and after less then 10 minutes the iPod dies. I charge it to full power again and the same thing happens. The next day I bring it back with my receipt and ask for a refund, the manager says "let me try to find you another one in our other store in Nashua". I told him I just want a refund. So he fumbles on the computer for like 5 minutes and then says "oh by the way they'll be a 15% restocking fee". Restocking fee I said, you put a used iPod Classic in a little see through box and now I am returning it to you the same way and there is still a fee! He says "I don't make the rules". I was nice and said I can understand if the iPod was working properly and I just wanted to return it for no reason but that is not the case. Goodeed sold me a defective product, I bring it back for a refund and they keep 15% of what I paid for it for there so called Restocking Fee. I even talked to the owner over in the Nashua store and all he did is come up with on excuse after another for 15 to 20 straight minutes. It was a cut and dry issue that should have been resolved with some good old customer service. So I would think twice before purchasing anything from Goodeed Electronics. This was my first time in the store and it will be my last. One other thing I noticed is there prices are very high, I would shop around. I hope this helps anyone looking to by pre owned electronics, I don't want anyone else to loose out on there hard earn money. read more

I will never ever be going back to this store again. After searching three redboxes I could not find the movie I was looking to rent. I figured I would try video thunder. I went with a friend who had been going for years and we found the video right away. After waiting at the counter for 7-10 mins we were approached by "Brando", new to the area I told him I needed to open an account. I handed him my pay stub and licence. He told me I needed a credit card, I handed him my debit/credit card. He threw a huge fit and said look these are your options and slamed a sign onto the counter. I tried to explain to him that my card has a line of credit. He returned to the sign and pointing slowly at each word saying it must be a credit card. Although I was correct in trying to tell him it is in fact a credit card, I told him he didnt need to speak to me like im a child. He said back, you dont speak to me like im an idiot, theres the door, leave. I will be contacting the manager/owner. Im not a child and im not stupid. I have completed years of college and I wont be spoken to like that. I wont return, at least until Brando is no longer employeed. I sugest everyone do the same. read more
