We planned on adding 3 lines and also wanted to upgrade a phone. Unfortunately, we had a 3 hour sidequest because T-Mobile was a nightmare to leave. We needed a TMobile transfer pin so we were told to contact them by phone. The TMobile phone customer service said we needed to go in store. When we got to the store, they said we needed to call customer service. ANYWAY, we finally got the pin we needed and headed back to Spectrum at about 4pm. The Spectrum guys were swamped because they were short-staffed by two guys. This also happened to be a day where they had a few complicated customer service issues to deal with prior to helping us again. So, when Royan began helping us with our final transitions, we of course, were no exception to complicated issues. One of our phones was so ancient that it wouldn't adhere to simple transfer protocols (ESim activation). We ended up upgrading that phone and succesfully porting everything over. Royan also had to upgrade another phone and then activate the other two lines. All told, we didn't leave the store until 30 minutes PAST CLOSING. The entire time, Royan was upbeat while also being apologetic for all the issues. He remained patient and dilligent throughout the process and he finally got us everything we requested. While it wasn't an ideal amount of time to spend in the store, the experience was well-done because he worked until everything was completed and IT WAS DONE RIGHT. I had no issues with the lines, data transfers or the billing. Special props to Royan because he worked from open to way past closing and he did it with a great attitude the entire time. I know Spectrum customer service can get a bad rap for the extended wait times and slow service but please remember to factor in difficulty and quality of service received. In and out in 5 minutes. I have been waiting in line for hours at this place before. Count my lucky day. When you live in the monopoly area of Spectrum internet cable, then try to get the best out of it. Need to call and request update package every six months since they keep increasing price. Bad practice but oh well, you live in capitalism country. At least you still talk with real human instead of some AI answering machine in the phone Take one star off

When we returned (2 days later), that employee was on vacation, and a new salesperson initially refused to honor the same deal. After some back-and-forth, they eventually matched it, only to then try to upsell us by adding another line. We were initially told there would be a minimal increase and when the quote came out it was triple the cost! In the end, we were told the original offer was no longer available and that we'd have to pay full price, with a pitch about why it was still a "good deal." After the manager came out to say the manager on the other deal was wrong as was the associate but that we should be thankful they caught it now...we had enough. Overall, the process felt disorganized and unprofessional, with employees seemingly not aligned and customers caught in the middle. We ended up wasting hours here. I'd recommend avoiding this place.

I've had so many issues with service stability and their provided equipment that many years ago I purchased my own cable modem. One day I received a flyer that google fiber was now available for my unit. I called spectrum and it hey said they could match the service quality but their rate was higher ... and I would have to use their equipment. I gave them a chance but they could not activate their equipment for FOUR hours. Eventually it activated but I got no internet. They then started to blame my top of the line nighthawk router that was working JUST FINE along with my modem before they activated their modem. This is how they left it KNOWING I needed internet to work the next day. I asked them to hook up my old modem that was working fine before, but they said it was "incompatible" with their service. I plugged in my old modem and BOOM everything worked again. Tired with their incompetence, I called Gfiber and they had me hooked up the SAME DAY and it only took 30 minutes for SYMMETRICAL 1 GB SERVICE FOR LESS than spectrum. You would think my problems with spectrum would stop there, but it didn't. They even made disconnecting their service especially difficult, attempting to pass the blame on to me for "expectations". It told them my only expectation was working internet since it had been working just fine for years before. Can they seriously blame me for leaving after giving them FOUR HOURS to resolve then leaving me with ZERO SERVICE? And they're charging me a "rental fee" for equipment that's not even activated? I don't think I would be so bitter if it weren't for the repeated attempts by every person I talked to to blame me ("equipment", "expectations") ... they use the same words so I think they're trained to blame the customer. I still have the streaming premium apps but I'm going to shop around to find a better combined rate for the apps I use.

Went to him for a phone battery replacement. He is local, and honestly, he has low prices ($45 +tax for the battery replacement). He told me that his battery is not original product (ie, not Apple battery). That's fine, I just needed my phone to hold a charge. The new battery he replaced with was WORSE than my old battery. It went from 94% to 70% in less than an hour! I went back the next day, and his mannerism was abysmal. He told me, that's a new battery, must be a problem with your phone processor. I didn't want to risk trying another "un-original" phone battery through him and asked for a refund instead. He begrudgingly refunded $40, minus $5 for service fee. As I was leaving his kiosk, he blurted, "And don't come back." Like why? It was unwarranted, he could've just said nothing and let it be. Of course I wouldn't come back after such an experience. So I left, not only with a faulty battery, but also upset by his rude mannerism. The guy was angry at me for his own faulty product. And then gave me attitude for it... ;( Anyways, lesson learned to not go cheap. Went to Apple Store later that day, they ran diagnostics. Everything is fine with my phone. New battery ($69), and surprise surprise. It works just fine! I am incredibly disappointed with how this shop handles pricing and communication. I reached out on…read moreYelp asking for a quote to replace the display on my MacBook Pro 14" (Model A2442). They explicitly gave me a flat price of $499 for a display replacement. Based entirely on that number, I took the time out of my day to drive down, drop off my machine, and pay a non-refundable $30 diagnostic fee. However, once they had my laptop completely disassembled on their workbench, the price suddenly jumped by $100 to a new quote of $599. When I questioned why the price changed from their written quote, they claimed that the initial $499 price was actually only for a "B-Grade" used screen with scuffs and scratches on the outer casing. If I wanted a normal-looking, flawless screen ("A-Grade"), I had to pay the higher premium. They had my exact model number from the very first text. Withholding information about different "grades" of used parts until a customer's laptop is already taken apart in your shop is a highly deceptive business practice. Had they been transparent upfront that a standard screen replacement would cost $599, I would have opted to go to the Apple Store instead of wasting my time and money here. I paid the $30 fee just to get my laptop put back together and returned to me. Go to Apple or a more transparent shop that honors their initial quotes.
