Just signed our contract to begin our bathroom remodel. I called Payless after several appointments with other companies. Other companies were high pressure and didn't have what we were looking for in a company to do our remodel. Kamal came, explained what Payless was about, the product and the process. Kamal then measured our bathroom and explained how the product that Payless manufactures would eliminate the issues we are having with mold. Finally, Kamal used his knowledge in contracting and design to help us plan and design our bathroom remodel. We are so happy with the work that will be done and design. From the moment I contacted Payless they were pleasant and professional, they worked with our complicated schedule and kept us up to date on our appointment up until the day of. Kamal, our rep was very professional and knowledgeable and never made us feel uncomfortable like the other companies had. The whole process was no pressure as we told Kamal at the beginning that we would not be signing a contract that day, Kamal respected our process and is one of the reasons we decided on Payless. A week later we met with Kamal to sign our contract. The pricing we are receiving is spectacular for a full remodel. Payless is working with us all the way on the pricing and are transparent in all we will receive. This is my second review. I contracted with Payless on Sept. 25, 2023 to begin resurfacing my kitchen cabinets on Oct 25, 2023. I was told it would take 3-4 days. They did not arrive on Oct 25. They did not come or cancel. When I called I was told they hadn't ordered the materials. After several calls they finally showed mid November 2023. It was a mess. Drawers ans cabinet doors were not the same size. Doors were scratched and chipped. Glue every where. Visible nails, doors hung backwards ans more. I called the Mgr and they didn't return till Feb. This continued with missed appts, missing materials, delays etc. until Dec 2024. Finally completed December 2024, 2 years and 2 months after I was originally told. Now I have asked them to update my warrantee to the original 2 years because it was not completed until Dec. 2024. They claim this all was follow up. I feel it was not ever finished until Dec. 2024. I also feel that if they had confidence in their product they wouldn't have a problem updating my warrantee. It looks like they are afraid something else will come up that they will have to address. After what they put me through, that is the least they should do. read more

I have been holding back on leaving a review of Payless Kitchen in bath with the hopes of my project manager getting back to me first. We contracted Sean during the beginning of August to complete a full kitchen remodel (minus demo which I would complete). The sign up process was straight forward and the financing is what attracted us to PK&B. The project started at the beginning of August with the cabinet installer Andy and his wife (a little odd but whatever works). They are very kind people but I can share for future customers to set strict guidelines on times. There were many times they would start working at noon and work till 9pm! This was unacceptable as we have kids in the house. During the last visit of them coming out to install a few drawer slides I was a little frustrated with Andys wife whom made herself very comfortable on my sofa and took a nap while her husband worked on the kitchen, yep you heard right! Andy did do a good job but I don't like that there are nails that can be seen above my cabinets, multiple imperfections above the cabinets and a very concerning cabinet install near the dishwasher which I had the dishwasher guy correct. The interaction with Andy left a sour taste in my mouth and his cleanup could have been way better. Countertop team did great, was very well organized and especially clean and on time. But the team failed to leave the left over 5 ft worth of countertop we purchased (which still to date has not been returned to me). The backsplash guy was AWESOME! He was probably the best part of our experience with Payless Kit and bath. The gentleman was organized, clean, prepared, and detailed. He ended the job in excellence and the backsplash looks amazing. Lastly, comes the project manager. We worked with Diane P whom seems to be in a different time zone, I was told by another worker that she doesn't even live stateside. Diane was an exercise for me in patience as 9 out of 10 times she never answered my call nor would bother to call me back. On occasions she would text me "I am in a meeting" and not bother to call me back until I reestablished contact. Most frustrating is the fact that as a project manager she never asked me if I was satisfied with my project nor aligned herself with our expectation. I believe that the root issue of my negative experience with Payless starts and ends with my project manager whom still hasn't produced 5 ft of a $3,000 countertop nor reimbursed us for purchasing our own hardware. With that said I do hope I am able to speak with management on this issue as I have requested a manager on 4 occasions, never once that being acknowledged. I will be filing a report with BBB and Yelp as well. read more

Absolutely terrible experience and complete waste of my time. I told Ruth who booked the appt that I wanted a tiled shower. She never said anything about what I wanted except the worker would bring samples. Joe shows up and says they only do manufactured wall systems and it is one big sheet. So Ruth completely lead me to believe they could do what I wanted and the appointment was a total waste of time. Then I asked Joe about replacing my kitchen counter. He takes measurements and leaves. When Joe emailed me the quote, it was only for the shower I didn't want, and it was an absolutely ridiculous price. I could remodel my whole bathroom with high end materials for less. Also I didn't see any info about the kitchen counter he measured. I called Joe to ask about the counter quote and never heard back. He's never followed up or responded to me. Then Ruth has the nerve to text me for a good review. Ha! Totally out of touch. To finish off the horrible experience, Tamar texts me saying his job is to follow up and make sure I had a great experience. When I replied and told him what happened, he never responded. Nothing about the experience with this company was good. Complete waste of my time, and they have no knowledge of how to treat clients. read more

If I could Possibly post pictures of the nightmare experience , which my family and under went and furthermore been left with, The contract was signed on in July of 2020, they came in and much like Mark N. experience, we were told by the sales rep, and assured by their so called Contract , that the installer would be going over the scope of work that would be done, we also were informed that if any additional cost would to be incurred for the preparation of the installation of walls, and shower pan. My wife and I we specifically sold on the fact that the shower floor was slip resistant, and that the job would be professionally installed, well on 8/20/2020 they came in and came in Never reviewing the scope of work,and proceeded with the most disgusting job I have ever seen, they rushed the job left the whole job uneven and warped, they demanded their money and left, immediately cashing their check"with in the hour", I called and complained about their installation, and they came back to redo their lousy job, while doing their 2nd attempt at a "professional" installation. their installer, again doesn't consult with us , he rather consults with a project manager which at this time showed up, she and him disgust how to proceed forward , at this time I enter and inquire what was their job plans, I then explained how I expected the job to continue, they in turn start cutting into the ceramic tile , we had recently had installed, and the job was to FIT their new wall around that tile. I stopped them and took photos of what they were doing, they explained they couldn't work the material around the tile , and that they would hve to remove it in order to make wall flush. well after that correction, the installer burns a mark onto the shower pan, job is stopped due to the need of re-ordering a new shower pan from IL. By this time we are very upset, both the installer and the PM know this, and I tell her due to their lateness and failure to complete the job within a 3 day period TOPS , and 1 day promise, I would be expecting some type of refund back, Well the PM assured me that she would very much consider that , but her priority at that moment was getting the pan ordered and shipped quickly, they returned on 9/11/2020 and finished the job, she gave me a job completion check list were I listed the failures of the job, and their obligation to their committed contract, the PM did not ever considered to refund me anything, and because I listed their failure on their checklist she left BOTH copies behind, after this we began bathing in our newly remodeled shower only to find out that the shower floor is slippery when wet , so bad that we put a shower mat, after months of dealing with this mat, I had enough and complained to the actual Mfg, B.C.I. Acrylic and they got involved and they informed me that the non slip surface was to of be applied PRIOR to the installation of the pan. By this time I finally get the owner of Payless Bath to get involved , he comes to my hone see the poor job, and says the only thing he can do is attempt to apply the non slip application now, we told him we would work with him again Only to be led down another lie. he sends in a new employee and he proceeded with 2 attempts to apply non -slip coating , both times it began to peel, I called them again only for them to say they are closing my account because they've done all they can do, Leaving us with a peeling discolored shower pan with discolored sealant around the shower pan. Now I find myself with having to go through legal channels to remedy my issues with them, I don't believe they will stand behind their life time warranty either. YOU have been worn.
