Pawtooine Grooming - This is my Pal and Buddy Peanuts - Pet Groomers Near Me

Arlene used to be a part of a different grooming company & when I found out she opened her own shop years ago, I def brought my dog to her. She & her team have always done a fantastic job with my dog. They are very upfront & honest about the service. The prices are fair & the establishment itself is rather clean. I've been bringing my dog here for about two years now (could actually be longer but time flies) and have been very pleased with the results. read more

I was looking for a groomer in my area and found this one on Yelp so I thought I would give it a try and boy did I hit the jackpot Arlene was so sweet and was able to get me in the same day which I greatly appreciated. With minimal instruction about my 2 pups her and her staff did an amazing job. I have a total of 6 pups and you better believe they will all be going to Arlene. She was nice and courteous the salon was clean and smelled so good. Definitely recommending Pawtoonine to all my friends and family. read more

Wonderful work and our Lhasa Apso Marley was happy , relaxed and content. Marley was out loose after her 1st grooming session with Maya. We were referred to Pawtoonie by our longer term ladies America and Genesis at Paw Dazzle. We need weekend or at least Saturday availability for our puppers. Our work schedules changed so weekdays off are no longer. We loved Pawdazzle and so do our other babies but we will continue taking Marley here to Pawtooine and will give Maya a spa day soon. Maybe anxious Elvira Mistress of the Dark will be more relaxed here at this site. read more

I made an appt. for Sept.14th. I asked if they would use my shampoo and they said it was no problem and they would. When I arrived to pay & picking them up, I asked if I could have the rest of my shampoo back. She retrieved and handed me the bottle and I felt the need to mention that it didn't seem like any was used. The attendant exclaimed "I only used a small amount and diluted it". I payed, put my dogs in the car, and noticed a intense smell of chemicals; a extreme synthetic scent that was very exaggerated, and I couldn't imagine how the dogs were feeling considering their exaggerated sense of smell. It immediately permeated my vehicle, and I knew It definitely was not my shampoo that was used. I evaluated the situation and the shampoo bottle again, and decided I couldn't leave without talking to them. When I went back in and told them that I didn't believe that ANY of the shampoo was used from the bottle, the attendant back tracked and started telling me that they spend $90 dollars a bottle on the shampoo, and that their shampoo is all natural and top of the line. I then asked what the chemical smell was and she said it was ALL NATURAL cologne/perfume that they spray on ALL of the dogs. My next question was why, if they had just been cleaned? More excuses were given, and I interrupted to ask about the shampoo again and she finally gave up the ghost and told me the shampoo they use makes dogs release hair (undercoat) to aid them in their grooming practices. I said "Oh, now we're getting somewhere". "That's the reason you used your own shampoo... To make it easier for you to brush the hair out". Of course my opinion is that it's to bad they didn't feel the need to be honest with me (the customer) in the first place and based on the facts, I assume that making money was their 1st priority, not the dogs well being nor the paying customers choice. I washed his head off 5 times and he still smelled of chemical perfume(s) for over a week. Next and most important, my older dog came into the house and layed on the floor and didn't move for 5 straight hours! He sat staring into space with a bizarre distant look on his face while sighing and moaning a low guttural sound over and over again. This was mid September. I've lost many night of sleep listening to his constant sighs and moans. This is something that he'd never done before I took him to this groomer. EVER! We are now in the process of looking into the cause and getting him help. I feel so guilty and terrible for him. Update: His discomfort (moaning & sighing) has just recently subsided. It went on for approximately a month. Thank goodness,, the $800. in x-rays didn't show any broken bones or dislocations and he is on the mend. read more

We had visited another groomer. WOW their location totally turned us off, smelled, seemed dirty. The grooming was OK, not really what we were looking for. We found Pawtooine through our vet and are SO happy with the cut. Our dog looks amazing, attention to detail all over our dog was evident. He is a Golden they can get a little tangled especially behind the ears. He looks fabulous The location was clean, no smell and just inviting. We have decided we are going to bring him once a month to keep his coat/fur looking good Thank you so much read more

Pawtooine Grooming - Puppy after grooming - Pet Groomers Near Me

Our family absolutely LOVES this grooming place. Our dog Dexter is usually stressed around people that he doesn't live with as he is an only "child" he actually LOVES going to see his groomer Maya! He dances right in the door and always comes out looking darn handsome! Maya knows exactly how to care for his hair. He is a bernedoodle so this can be a difficult task but Maya always handles it with ease. He's even made a few little friends over there and our family LOVES that too! Thank you Maya for always taking such good care of our Shmoop!! read more

We found Arlene about a year and half ago. She's AMAZING. My animals (I have 4) love her! I love the openness and cleanliness of her salon. It is light an airy, smells nice and she keeps it spotless. One can see exactly what is going on and it gives such a nice sense of peace that your babies are ok. Her prices are fair, her turnaround time is great, but the BEST part is just ARLENE. To know her is to love her. Go check it out. You'll see what I mean. read more

I have nothing but great things to say about Maya. I've been coming to her for the past 3 1/2 years and she is the best. I have never had an issue with her. My dogs love her. If you have the opportunity to book with her, I highly recommend you do it. read more

Took my mini golden doodle in for a wash and trim in the face and genital areas. Didn't think this simple task would turn into what I am reviewing about now. First I just wanna say i ended up bringing my pup here because I tried to book with another groomer in the area and they were fully booked until October so they referred me to this place. Originally I wanted to book a hair cut but after speaking to who I think may be the owner I was a little skeptical on whether I should trust a completely new groomer to cut my pups hair. She was very short and kinda rude over the phone, ( i know....I should of not scheduled after that but I just wanted him to get washed and cleaned up he was way overdue) when I got there same energy with this person kinda rude stand off-ish you would think that if you're trusting a person with your dog they would at least try to make you feel comfortable about leaving your dog with them. I didn't sign any paper work no personal info was requested NOTHING just took him in as he was which was kinda odd to me. This place is like a fast food place people are going in and out constantly so that's where you know they're either really good or they just half ass everything to get their $$$$$. In this case I believe they are busy because their prices are fairly accessible and I'm not mad at that but I prefer paying full price and receiving quality work vs budgeting and getting this crappy work done. I didn't notice these flaws when I picked him up because I just inspected his face and paws which looked good but it wasn't until later when I got home that I noticed he had a burn in his testicles and his ear was probably plucked to roughly that it became irritated and also he's penis area was shaved so unprofessionally. This is such a terrible experience specially being that she did not have the decency to communicate any of these errors to me after I asked how it all went when I picked him up. Again this place is so unprofessional I would not a in a million years bring my dog back apparently people care more about saving a buck than their dog being in good hands. I'm all about supporting small businesses specially woman owned, but this is not it. I see they have all good reviews on here how about delivering that same exact treatment and service to every client not just pick and chose who you want to be great for!!!!!!!! read more

My wife called to make an appointment with verbal instructions to have our dog bathed, nails and paws trimmed. So I brought my dog in and specifically told them not to trim his body coat or facial, just trim the hair on his paws. I came back to pick him up. It was strange, I looked at him and she trimmed his entire coat and some facial, he had half of his little beard had been trimmed. When I told this isn't what we requested, she was telling me there was mistake, and before I could say anything, she said get out of here before I call the police, then she stared me down, said I didn't have to pay and asked me to leave or she will call the police. I was trying to suggest that she should write these things down so it doesn't happen again, but I couldn't get a word in. She was really hyped, threatening me that she will call the police on me once again. I was willing to pay her, but she insisted she would call the police? She has no customer service skills whatsoever and my dog was stressing while she was getting in my face. I would not recommend her, she was all wound up. I don't want her near my dog ever, very unprofessional. read more

Groomers here are so nice! Dropping my Benito off was so comforting unlike other places I've gone to in the past. It is a nice and open space where our fur babies can feel comfortable and we can leave feeling like our fur babies are being taking care of. Will definitely keep coming, staff is very welcoming and good at what they do! read more
