Service was great, Andy used to be located at Barks n' Bows over by 32nd Street and Thunderbird. This is the new spot and name the business is under. My dogs were happily pampered after their visit here, they cheerfully walked out and were no longer shy and quiet as they first were when coming in to this new business spot!! They did an awesome job! My puppy had a bath and a sanitary hair cut. The staff was friendly and they gave her a cute cut. They clipped her nails too. They got us in within 48 hours of calling. I had to leave her there for several hours post cut and there was no issue and they were super nice about it. I wish she would have had water in her cage when I picked her up. I took my dog here for the first time this week. I was eager because the pricing seemed very reasonable and fair, and the owner seemed very kind and gracious over the phone. Even when dropping off my dog I was excited and confident they would do a good job. Unfortunately not. The did a total hack job on my poor doodle. There were several uneven spots, and even spots where it looked like they went too deep and hurt my poor dog. Paw Wash Scottsdale, AZ. I typed out with bullet points specific instructions for the cut of my dog. The instructions were short and clear. The groomer did not follow the instructions and cut the top of my poodle's coat flat on the top of his head instead of letting it be longer, which is custom cut for poodles. My dog's head looks ridicuulous. Even though she coudl not trim his paws because she said he did not like it, she still charged me the full amount. Make sure you use a groomer at this location who actually listens, is agreeable and friendly. read more

I called on a Saturday morning for my best buddy Barkley. He needed a day of dog pampering. Spoke to Andy on the phone. She was super nice and told me she could fit him right in. I have used this place several times and honestly loved it so much initially and appreciate how they handled my dog. He is a morkie and has high anxiety and I'm aware he's not the easiest to handle but I've always been assured at my visits that they can work with him. But the last few times I tried to call and make an appointment, I was given a round about to call back because they had to figure which groomers could handle him and was told he is a two person dog. I would have totally paid any up charge for this service and for handling a difficult dog. I called back two more times and the last call I was really shocked and disappointed that they said my dog was 'rotten' and I should take him to the vet and maybe he needs a sedative. It could have easily been said that your dog is beyond our scope of service as he is unmanageable for them. I would have understood and found another alternative. But to say he's rotten blatantly is no different than saying your kid is so bad we don't want him at our school. I hope this gives the business some perspective and how to better communicate to clients in a professional manner. read more
