While there are a lot of options out there for groomers, bot my dogs and my family prefer Bark Ave…read more Not only are they the most local option, but our pups are a bit particular, and are always super excited to see the staff. Dogs are always treated with care and respect, price has NEVER been misquoted. More than happy to continue bringing my dogs.

I just saw the review about what they did to someone's cat and I wish I had seen this earlier…read more They did the same thing to my frenchie injured her skin and then offered to pay for the vet. How about not injuring anyone's pets in the first place? I did bring her to vet and they agreed that they scrubbed a sensitive area too hard. I didn't bring her the bill because, she seemed like a nice lady and I truly thought it was a mistake. She offered a free groom that I said no to and said I will pay but she refused the money, I had my son stay in the store with my dog. Then came her rudeness out of the blue! She sent me texts galore, saying how she might need special shampoo, pictures of someone else's dog? So confused. What she doesn't remember is that 14 years ago she groomed my cocker spaniel, Maggie. She did a good job ( I did always have to touch up her cut but it never really bothered me) and was always nice but then again Maggie Mae was older and so forgiving and sweet. I never saw any injury but she had long hair. Now, fast forward I have this beautiful and sweet frenchie who is also forgiving and sweet but she's still so young. To see a wound on her just broke my heart. If anyone is interested in seeing the rude texts please contact me. Please don't put your baby at risk . It's just not worth it. You never know and it only takes one time and now I have leaned a valuable lesson, unfortunately. Please be careful here and don't just drop off your dog and trust. Contact me for details. I have them all in writing. Ohh and don't miss an appointment because, say you may have broken your ankle like I did, because her response was that she will no longer take a cancellation for a health reason! Cherry on top of the cake. Btw, this cancellation was before she hurt my dog. Please just beware. Again, please contact me if you're considering going here.

Terrible new owners. They may be friendly, but the grooming is not good and both my dogs hated…read moregoing there. I kept trying bec the previous owners, Alex Mazur and his wife were great and they are good friends. Both dogs needed a grooming and the local groomers were booked up. A day later after grooming at Grateful Dogs, both dogs (one going on 15 and blind, and the second, almost 7 yr old) had severe vomiting, diarrhea and stopped eating. After a few days, they both needed a Vet visit with anti nausea shots; neither had any ailments or kidney issues as far as a special diet or meds- the older dog had somewhat raised liver enzymes due to age. The bill was $445 as the elder needed bloodwork to check in case. They were both still vomiting and had diarrhea (no eating) for the next few days. The younger recovered; the elder never recovered, stopped eating and drinking and went into kidney failure, had to be hospitalized and eventually had to be put down two weeks later. The Vet at the EM hospital and her primary Vet both surmised that the reason for their illnesses was perhaps due to dehydration. My bills totaled around 7k. I called Ogie the owner at Grateful Dogs to let him know what happened after I had to put my older dog down. I am so devastated. I asked Ogie what could've happened. He claims nothing - they were there alone. I first thought maybe they both caught something; he says they were the only dogs there so that's not a possibility. When I suggested that both Vets thought perhaps the illnesses were from dehydration, and that just pushed the elder over the edge, he shrugged me off. Crying, I asked if he could at least refund me my last grooming bill as they had gone 2 weeks prior. Both breeds are non allergenic, so I shaved their pads, do their ears, cut their nails and shave their private parts to just make it less stressful for them. Due to that, the previous owners always gave me a small discount off of one pet. After this phone call, Ogie said that he was denying giving me back my grooming refund, because he gives me a discount. He claimed that he's hardly making any money off of me. I told him that I had so many Vet bills, could he at least help by giving me a refund. He said that he'll call my Vet to see if he could help me. It turns out that he never called my Vet and I haven't heard from him since. Do not go there. They seem friendly, but they're not compassionate at all. Plus, I told Ogie that even though my younger dogs pads, ears, private parts were done, they didn't really groom him - his hair was still so long. I'm heartbroken!

This is by far the best place in town (and surroundings!) to get your dog groomed…read more I've been taking my dog there for a few years and I'm always happy with their excellent and professional work. Thank you Studio Groomer Staff!

I don't even know where to start, but what I'll say first off is that we had a horrible experience…read morehere. We moved into town and were looking for a groomer. We stumbled upon this place and brought our dog here. When my husband was dropping him off, he was explaining to them what kind of Cut he wanted them to do. He said just a simple trim nothing too short. The woman looked at him and flat out, said "I have no clue what you want", And she called for somebody else to come over and yelled "This guy is asking for something and I don't know what he wants." - In a very rude tone. Mind you, we are brand new customers, this is our first time there. Our dog is a golden retriever and so he's the happiest dog you'll ever meet. Because it was our first time I called an hour later to check up and see what his status was and how he's doing. The woman that worked there (didn't get her name but she was a very tough and rude woman) was very mean as if I was bothering her when I called. I simply was asking for an update to see when my dog would be done, but she was not very polite. After picking him up, we noticed that he was not Himself. He was pulling us to leave. When we brought him home, he was very quiet and not his happy self. A month later we had another appointment booked and as we were walking close to the door We noticed our dog, pulling us the opposite way- He was basically telling us that he did not want to go inside. That was a huge red flag for me. I knew something happened during his first grooming Session And I'm glad we trusted our instinct the second time and didn't go through that door. Unfortunately This is not the first time I've heard of an experience like this from This place. 2 other friends who have dogs stopped going there too because of similar stories. I don't know what happens behind closed doors at Studio Groomers, But all I know is that if they treat humans like myself so mean and rude, then I can't imagine how they treat dogs. I am really concerned about this place and their staff. Please, if you're reading this be cautious before going here if you care about your pet.
