A great place for an outdoor lunch break, some exercise, playtime, or family time. I am so thankful that Irving has such a beautiful park with such an intentionally inclusive design. I hope that some future maintenance or re-design might be in the works for the restrooms which do not have functioning facets at this time and feature only one metal, latrine-style toilet which isn't very user-friendly. Apart from that, this park features great design, landscaping and offerings that make you feel you've retreated from the city a bit. I've never visited in the evenings--only afternoons but it's been pretty peaceful in those times.

However, yesterday my dog got severely bit to the point he had to have staples. I would have confronted the owner but as soon as I checked out my dog, she ran off to the other side of the park. I don't know who she is but all I do know is she has two black medium size dogs, one is more longed haired and the other looks like a lab of some sort. Use this review as a WARNING and watch your pets. Also if your dog is aggressive, DONT bring them to the park.

There are restrooms for the humans. The park has artificial turf and there is a large concrete covered area if you need some shade. The water fountain didn't work for the dogs though so make sure to bring water for them just in case. We will definitely be back!
