It's so nice that the church next door provides this space. Large area to play. Plenty of seating for humans. Some fun ramps for dogs to run up on. Poop clean station. Water bowls. Some rocky areas instead of grass, but my dogs still loved it all the same. Thank you for this!

After reading reviews, I was a bit skeptical of taking my new pup here. The location is super close to my home & I was recommended this park by multiple people! Finally, I took a chance and went around 2p. It wasn't too busy which was perfect for my (timid) new pup. The park is SO clean and the regular patrons take great pride in keeping it clean. Yes.. I witnessed some cliquish behavior among patrons, but everyone was incredibly friendly & welcoming. I've made some great new friends here and so has my lil guy "gus". I'll absolutely return!

I went there for the first time yesterday and my puppy had a great time. All the dogs there were super friendly which is great because my pup is only 6 months old and still learning his manners. There were people at the table sitting together talking who I assume are the "circle" regulars a few people here mentioned. They were very friendly to us I didn't feel weird at all. I asked if all the dogs that were there were ok with rambunctious puppies before I came in and they were super nice. They invited my husband and I to join them but I like to make the rounds with my pup since that's what his trainer advises. There was plenty of shade and stray tennis balls. Cooling fans and a rinse off station. My only complaint and it's a small one is this- the smaller dog section is WAY to small. It's about the size of my tiny kitchen lol. Maybe for a tea cup breed it would be ok. So if you're squeamish about letting your dog play with bigger dogs you might skip this place. I'm still a helicopter parent when it comes to who my pup plays with because he's still young and he's an "in your face" Jack Russell. So I will be very careful about him playing here if I notice doggy body language that Im not comfortable with. But all in all this is a great dog park and I'm happy it's there.

I have only been here once and I enjoyed it. Dogs are all sweet and the people all sit in a circle because it is easier to have a conversation that way ... Not because they are gossiping. This is probably not the best place to introduce your dogs to other dogs. Probably best to socialize your pet a little before you being them here. Overall I enjoyed my time here.

Today while I was at the park there was a vibrancy that was contagious. It brought the Chicago song, Saturday In The Park to mind, but I am still looking for the man selling Ice Cream! He is probably here, I just have not found him yet! Of course I have not made to the Food Truck section yet, and THAT is probably where he is at... So far I have seen people playing life-size Chess, kids playing in a dancing fountain, venders selling goods, authors selling books, people playing ping pong, and "a man playing guitar singing for us all!"

I will say the playground's pretty chaotic at times. Bunch of brats unsupervised being annoying. Saw this kid helping her little sister up one of the climbing net structures with a slide midway up and the kid was telling another kid to move so her little sister can get by. Now I get it if the other kid was just parked there not moving but the kid was moving but maybe not at the pace the brat wanted. To me, seems like a you problem and someone didn't tell her the world didn't revolve around her and her little sister. Was at another part of the playground and noticed a mom suddenly started yelling obscenities because she lost her son. She was just sitting at a bench I guess closer to her other 2 kiddos. Um newsflash. If you can't handle 3 kids, your poor choices don't need to infect other people trying to enjoy their time there. She eventually found her son but yet another story of someone who thinks the world revolves around themselves.

My last three trips were for this year's Memorial Day activities in support of Carry the Load. This park comes to a new life when there is a large event such as the very noble Carry the Load. Reverchon's beautiful greenery, powerful oaks and gentle rolling meadows are accented with the dark reddish sandstone walls and structures that soothes the soul. It is almost like a slice of Eden.To see this impressive park comfort those grieving as they remember the fallen military, police, fire and other first responders validates its role as a magnanimous friend. It fosters the catharsis and healing needed by many. The trip up and down from the Katy trail (which is high above) can be as challenging as you want to achieve and as beautiful as you want to view. I like the winding stone steps. There are observation terraces, conversation pits, and nature everywhere. It is shielded by quiet Dallas high rises just far enough away. The quiet serenity at night is in contrast to its vibrant life during the day. It retains the natural attraction whether it is a hand full of park goers to over ten thousand. It's great for the dogs, kids and oldtimers like me. There are some sport facilities for the team sport athletes. And of course there are the trails. There is a lack of immediate parking which I think helps retain its natural beauty . There are lots and streets to park if you decide not to go on foot. The adjoining recreation center has all you could want or need. The food and drink options are not too far away and some are world renown. If you need mental cleansing or some quiet reflection, Reverchon Park is the place to stroll.

Parking is available in the residential streets nearby, which is a short walk over. This dog park, 1.2 arces, is within walking distance of many dog friendly restaurants and bars. This park is fenced off so you can let your pup go off leash. This dog park has poop bag dispensers, dog water bowls (although it is better for you to bring your own because those bowls are never clean and you don't want your dog getting sick), water fountains, is shaded for the most part and has some amazing eclectic artwork. We came on a Saturday afternoon, around 3:30 pm. There were only 2 other people with 2 dogs in the park. The ground is mostly dirt, although there is some patches of grass throughout. Please note that there is no small dog side or big dog side, it is all one giant open space. For the most part, I really enjoyed the art. My little girl just enjoyed following me around (lol) though. Overall, a nice little neighborhood park that is quite unique. But please note that because this is in downtown, you may see some homeless folks, as we saw some (not inside the dog park, but around the area). Please note that the park is closed on Tuesdays for maintenance.
