Understand, I am down for the closures - since we "opened" today I have seen folks acting a plum fool. With that, I was thankful this park never closed. What makes this place cool is the people. If you go often you will easily find the same people and the same dogs. These folks are watchful but not absurdly cautious or sensitive. If dogs start tussling a little bit, no one freaks out. The folks take the time to learn your name, and the name or your dog, without being intrusive. There are plenty of trashcans and bag stations, and there is a park for 40lbs and over and a separate one for smaller dogs. There is a water fountain for dogs (which is off right now) likely due to the construction, but it's a wonderful place to go, nonetheless.

This park has a section for large and small dogs under 30 pounds. I always bring my toy poodle where my GoldenDoodle goes - he's used to giant of dogs and stays close to me, as he's 8 years old and doesn't play much. I just love the space my #50 Doodle had to run around! It's simple and clean and from what it looks like, a safe part of town. There's a daycare next door - and I didn't see any weirdos around! There are posts with plastic bags and trash deposit for the fur babies pick up. One important thing: there is a water fountain but hasn't been working in the times that I've been there so the community has been bringing large bottles of water to share.

They also have the fountains for her and shade. I usually bring her with a ball and let her have at it for about an hour or so. I've only been one time when there were other dogs actually in her play area and they were sweet but just a little to rowdy for my girl. She's just used to playing with her ball and they wanted to play with her - so its no-ones fault! I will continue to let her stretch her legs here when able!
