No low quality type cat treats that you see in grocery stores and most other pet food stores, interesting toys for cats I had never seen in other places, seniors day on the last Tuesday of the month (my husband is a senior), and a second rewards program based on food and treats you purchase. Some items for less common pets too, like budgies and rabbits. Loved it, do recommend, especially if you have Air Miles!

The prices may seem a bit higher for some things, but the quality is great. My dog has chewed through some cheaper toys already, but the ones I got here are still holding up. During lockdowns, they have the curbside shopping down. You stand at the table and say what you want and they will bring you a whole bunch of options you can look at. Also many of the staff seem to have been working there for years. You don't always see that a lot in retail and I think/hope this means that they treat their employees well. Most of the items were geared towards smaller dogs. There were accessories (collars and bow ties) and clothes that would be perfect for the toy breeds but we did notice some extra large sized jackets that would work for a big dog. They carried food brands that I've never seen in the chain pet stores, including one that touted kangaroo as the first ingredient on the list! Speaking of food, there were a lot of Roxy and Bosco biscuits that were very nicely decorated. They even had dog friendly gingerbread kits! I couldn't resist picking up a toy for my dog while I was there. They will ask if you want a bag and since I didn't really want to walk around holding a dog toy I said yes. They packaged up the toy in a paper bag complete with Sniffany teal tissue paper! Super cute.
