The store looks small but they have a great selection of dog toys, including some adorable plush ones like avocado toast or chicken and waffles!! (Perfect for Yelper's pet;)). The prices may seem a bit higher for some things, but the quality is great. My dog has chewed through some cheaper toys already, but the ones I got here are still holding up. During lockdowns, they have the curbside shopping down. You stand at the table and say what you want and they will bring you a whole bunch of options you can look at. Also many of the staff seem to have been working there for years. You don't always see that a lot in retail and I think/hope this means that they treat their employees well. If you're lucky you might glimpse their resident pets in the aisles too!

From what I've seen, their brushes/harnesses are in the average price range for downtown. I have never had any issues with the staff. I go in, and say hi and if I have my Samoyed (who howls from across the street with anticipation to see them) they always ask to give her a treat. If I have any questions, they always answer them to the best of their knowledge and aren't pushy to sell anything. Yes, one of the employees is more on the quiet side, but that doesn't equal unfriendly, he simply just doesn't talk your ear off with product knowledge like some other stores do. I live really close, so yes, it is convenient for me to walk but they do offer a delivery service for (I think) $5 extra, which for many people is definitely worth while. They carry mostly the healthier foods (at least for dogs) and most of your average accessories. The store is small but well stocked and organized and if they don't have something you need, they have no issues ordering it in for you. I cannot speak on behalf of cat owners, but as for dog owners I definitely recommend the store and hope you give them a proper chance!
