What a great dog park! Very spacious and well maintained. Love that they keep water out for the pups. There are about 20 + tennis balls scattered every where so there is more than enough to go around. The area is well lit and open until 9pm! read more

This is a great park. There are two sides to separate big and little dogs. There is a lot of grass for the dogs to run on and play. They have water in coolers and a bowl for dogs. The people who came with their dogs were friendly. Definitely worth a visit. read more

TC has been long overdue for a dog park. This location is ideally located right across from the TC Animal Shelter. Even though it is new, my 2 fur babies found more than enough places to explore and sniff. They have covered seating with bleachers for those hot days and plenty of bouncy balls and frisbees for playing catch. I appreciate the push-to-open gates trying to get my two very excited dogs to get into the play area. There is enough space to run and play here and so far, owners have been very good about cleaning up after their dogs. The water station is just barrels of water and dog bowls, it looks temporary for now. It served its purpose but I do hope they get a fountain one day. Great playground and we look forward to spending more time there and meeting new friends! read more

The best dog park in the area by far, and I think the best dog park I've ever been to. Tons of room for dogs to run, and the park is separated into big dogs and small dogs, which is more beneficial to dogs than I ever thought. The park is huge, has covered bleachers, benches along the sides of the park, some equipment for dogs to climb on and toys available to play with. Additional there are lights for taking your dog at night. My dog has so much energy, and taking him to the park wears him out enough that I can work from home. Cannot say enough good things about this park. I feel safe going there alone as a women by myself (well with my dog) at night. The people are so nice. Had really helped my dogs socializing and adapting to moving to the area. They mow weekly and keep the park looking nice. read more

Finally we have a dog park in The Colony!! And the size of this park is pretty big as well. this park opened in October and I've been coming here starting recently, but there are hardly any dogs here because of people not knowing about this place. Yelp community needs to spread their words and let this place be known!! This park is located right across from The Colony Animal Shelter which is located in a pretty discrete place. Pros: -flat ground all around so you can keep better look out for your dog -the area is kept clean with very few dog poop so far -the magnetic door is very convenient to use Cons: -automatic water dispenser is located at the OUTSIDE of the fenced park, and manually filled water cooler is inside the park. Water tank does get empty if not filled properly by the management. read more

MOST GANGSTA Parks award given to this place today. Took my Poodle here for a LOL exercise but stayed 3 mins only. Every dog seem to be a pit bull mix of sort. Some pit mixes are very fine pets but these were attacking my dog and the owners just "duuhhhh" watched. It was almost like the owners would only control their dog when there were more than 3 dogs ganging up, otherwise they just looked and stared like """"duhhh""" . A very odd group of people here this night in that we'd been here before, maybe three times. Kind of make me appreciate Frisco Ruff Rider Park much more. read more

Our friends invited us here with our newly rescued dog who had a fun time here! Coming here is a little weird as it is among random offices. However, once you arrive, you will see a huge dog park large enough for your furbaby to run and play. LIke with most dog parks, there is a separate area for small dogs and another area for large dogs. I noticed that some dog owners take this as more of a suggestion, as I see some big dogs in the small dog area and vice versa. I guess it really depends on the dog's temperament, so everyone should use their best judgement. We took our dog in both areas, and he had a pretty good time! The area is flat and grassy, so he was able to run around with both his human/my fiance and also meet and play with other dogs. Our dog is a 80 pound great pyrenees mix, but he is the most timid dog I know. He gets intimidated by both large AND small dogs. But luckily he met a few social dogs that got him out of his comfort zone and play. Overall, this was a great dog park to check out. Unfortunately, it's a little far from where we live, but we will try to take our dog here from time to time. Enjoy! read more

Would give 5 stars but there's 2 things that need to be addressed. The water fountain is outside of the caged areas and the big dog side has a giant gap in the fence. My boys are medium sized so I usually take them to the big dog side of parks. Other than that this place is great. read more

We love the new pawsome dog park. It has a section for dogs 35 lbs and under and a separate section for larger dogs. Both second are large enough for dogs to run and play without bothering the ones who want to be left alone . The doggie parents I've met there have been very friendly. The park supplies potty bags so owners can clean up after their pets. Benches are located around the perimeter of the playground so the owners can sit in whatever area their babies are playing. They have large water coolers and water bowls to compensate for the fact that only water fountain is located outside the fenced in area. read more

Honestly, the park itself is fine, but the dog owners are what make this space unbearable. Owners will put their small dogs on the big dog side and then get upset when big dogs try to play with their dogs. I've even see a guy being an aerosol spay can and spray dogs with it when they got too close to him. Many people don't understand what it means to let dogs play in a friendly environment, which in turn creates more problems. I have had more bad experiences at this park than at all the other DFW parks combined. Many people won't stop their dogs from harassing other dogs when necessary, and others have harassed my dogs for simply trying to play. read more
