Everything is built with accessibility in mind ramps, wide pathways, sensory features, musical instruments, and even mini pretend storefronts that spark imaginative play. The rubberized ground covering is such a bonus for safety too soft, clean, and comfortable for little ones learning to navigate the world. There's also a splash pad right next door, which is an absolute magnet on hot Texas afternoons. Shaded picnic tables and benches are scattered throughout the park, making it easy for parents and caregivers to relax without feeling like you have to hover the entire time. What makes Hope Park extra special is the heart behind it. It was created by the Frisco community with the dream of building a place where all children no matter their ability level could play side by side. You can feel that spirit when you're here. This place is really one of the best spots to take a short stroll on a date, take your kids on a…read morewalk, or just sit and hang out. There is a fountain in the middle of a pond that is quite relaxing to listen to. The area is a nice and safe area so you don't have to worry about this either. It's located behind the shops at Legacy and the Marriott. It seems like a nice place to come to after you shop or eat at the shops. The ambience is relaxing and there is plenty of parking in the area, too. I love how clean it is and the water doesn't smell or anything. This place is well kept and you can tell. I can't wait to have date night here when this pandemic is over!

Passing this park on an out-of-the-way side street for the last two years, I noticed a "workout area" towards the entrance to the park. I made a mental note to stop and check it out but, never did until today. I usually work out daily at the recreation center but, recently due to Omnicron, I've been looking for an interesting outside place to get some exercise. I remembered passing this place and decided to check it out. On pulling up I was initially disappointed. I guess I thought the structure should be bigger, more interesting, more challenging! then I started using it. Bam!!! Hello! I thought I was in decent shape for my age but, boy was I wrong. I couldn't even make it through a few exercises on this "adult playground"!!!! It just shows you can't judge a book by its cover or make assumptions. You have to Do It. this great little outdoor gym known as the Miracle is just that. In a fairly small area, several exercises are demonstrated via placard if you need them. It will wear you out, challenge you in ways you didn't anticipate. I'm so glad I found this outdoor place to exercise in the fresh air at this time. I feel I'm getting a type of physical challenge that I didn't inside a gym. Definite Go!

Because the weather has been so warm, it was packed with alot of families. I did want to point out that there are pickleball courts for those who love to play it. You can also bring your pets there, and had I known that, I would have definitely brought our pup out there. The park also has stations where kids can climb pretty high and test their other skills. I think the only downside is that the park isn't too close to us. However, the boys loved it and that's all that really matters. In the end, because it is close to one of our friends, I definitely see ourselves coming back here and hanging out again.

Saw one kid who kept on cutting in line on the zip-line area. And another kid who climbed up the slide. Both instances blocking other kids. The whole thing is fenced except the entrance but that's where most parents sat while their kids played. The bathrooms are large and clean. There's two restrooms both are family bathrooms. The only downside of the park is that the slides are fast and tossed my 22 month old around and the ropes on the netting is spaced fairly wide so his little feet slipped through but there is an additional net outside the so things can't fall through and those helped him get along. Only one lane open and there should be enough staff to open another lane. Please do it or else there's no point in coming back.

However, having always had something special going for it,the north Texas growth has breathed new life into this 10 square mile area formerly " historic" McKinney. This little lake created by forward thinking city planners is more and more a community gathering point. Just to the west is a full blown Frisbee golf course, hiking/biking trails and more. I just discovered a new addition today. A lighted walk,with music,to enjoy after dark I'll be back.

Very well maintained park , nice concrete pathway for walking & jogging. Saw many people who came early morning for fishing. It's a huge layout so didn't feel rushed every one was enjoying walking or jogging at their own pace. Ample seats for taking breaks or enjoying nature. Loved the vibe here all locals coming for walks , children enjoying parks & slides , enjoyed watching birds, turtles, fishes. There is ample parking place around the park & very well connected to all the local roads & highways.
