They are taking excellent care of the dog park. It is in really good shape, the grass is well taken care of and a great place to being your dogs. They have segregated parks based on size. Our dogs love it. The park is huge with PLENTY of room for the dogs to stretch their legs. I just wish they had bags and trash cans more towards the back of the park where we hang out. That wont stop me freaking m coming though. I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies soon.

This is a spacious and open dog park in the Frisco area. There's a large dog section that gets pretty muddy and a small dog section that's a little more grassy. Both sections have double gates, pavilions with picnic tables, water stations and pet waste stations. The dog park is closed on Thursdays and the gate is locked for the entire day. The big thing I dislike about this dog park is the gravel road leading up to it - it's been under construction for over a year and probably destroys my car. I wish they would just pave one of the two entrances already!

**MUST HAVE RABIES TAG** Recently had a lady from animal services say you must have your dogs rabies tag in order to be in the park, just wanted to make sure you're aware because we all had to leave one day. Love this dog park! I've only been in the small dog area but it's a good, clean dog park and there are plenty of benches to sit and watch. My 2 dogs love it!

We love this dog park!! Separate areas for the small dog (under 35) and larger dogs. The larger dog side actually has 2 areas they rotate out using to maintain grass from wear and tear. Nice large areas for the dogs to run and play. Plenty of sitting spaces for the humans that want to relax and watch their pups play. Covered area too for those hot summer days. Water available for the dogs. Super clean facility!!

This is my dogs favorite place! It has seating, places to put your stuff on, and there are places to roam with your dog! I also love the dog water fountains! I always go, and my dog knows when we are there. Love this place. But they are closed after rain because of the mud. But over all, it is amazing.

Really cute dog park tucked away in Frisco, TX. Both large and small dog park areas are large and clean. They are closed every Thursday, for maintenance and cleaning. The only problem this park has is a problem with Theft. Last incident happened 12/15/19 (Sunday). Mother and Daughter reported Mom's purse was missing from her vehicle. So if you do go to this dog park, please lock your cars and hide all your belongings because there is someone checking vehicles to steal, while you are enjoying the dog park with your 4-legged best friend.

Great dog park! There is lots of room to run on both the big dog and little dog side. There are plenty of trees which makes my dogs super happy. There is a covered pavilion with a water fountain for humans and fur friends, and a hose to clean off muddy dogs. The grass is well maintained and most dog owners are good about cleaning up after their pets.

This is my most visited dog park ever. It is located off in middle of gravel road so it might be a little difficult to find. I mostly came here because it is the closest dog park from my place but I fell in love with how spacious the fenced park is and the friendly people that are regulars here. They have two different sections for big and small dogs and each of them are very spacious. Big dogs especially with plenty of trees. The small dog section doesn't have as much tree as the big section does, but it is extremely spacious compared to other small dog sections at different dog parks that I've seen. Each section has a bit of slope to it so your dog gets double the exercise when it's running around! The grasses are kept in good condition and they are definitely watered well. It's suppose to be "closed" on Thursdays but I noticed that people come on Thursdays with their dogs anyways and simply hop the fence and let other people in, so don't get discouraged to come on Thursdays! After all they only say it's closed because that's when they turn the sprinklers on so the grass may be a bit wet and the ground may be a little muddy on the big dog section. Just like many dog parks, they have water issues sometimes especially at the big dog section so I'm taking a star off.

Always clean and well kept by dog owners and the city. This is a regular stop for Nola with lots of room for running around.

Ask the Community - Ruff Range Dog Park

Is this park closed down?? The reason I ask is when I type in the GPS it keeps rerouting me to this baseball field where I cannot see any dog park at all!

No. It's open, I was there this morning. They close on Thursday for maintenance. Enjoy.

The Frisco Dog Park is a great place to take well-socialized dogs, or submissive dogs that are not very socialized.

I discovered this park after joining Plano Pacers last night and seeing that this is our monthly location for 5k races. I walked over to check out the course prior to Saturdays race. I loved everything about it! It's truly beautiful in every sense of the word. What I can say, is on a very hot TX day the park itself (not Legacy trail) didn't seem to have a ton of tree coverage. You'll definitely want a wide brim hat and some sunscreen. The paths, wild flowers, lake, creek, trees, birds, bunnies and so on were all very lovely. I've been running a ton of routes since relocating to the neighborhood and I'm always thankful to find new paths to incorporate in, seeing as though I'm a distance runner and have been trying to put together some ideas for various different mileage options from my doorstep. I was very accustomed to an out and back in my previous city that I could easily get over 20 miles on and have been looking to somehow recreate a similar very straight forward route like that. I will most definitely be looping Windhaven Meadows Park and Legacy Trail into my runs. Highly recommend if you're looking for a gorgeous peaceful place to walk and relax. I can't wait to bring friends and family here!
