PAVILIONS @ LA JOLLA Parking is available in an entire lot free of charge, it was definitely busy on a Friday today because the sun's out! Easy walking distance. The grocery store itself is very clean, and already into the season of fall! We were there to look for ice cream, specifically Talenti, sadly they had so much being sold out in the flavor but we still got another with many options. The deals were great, it was buy two bags of chips and get the two free! The cash registers for self check out went by quick, you can also pay through a cashier in their many opened aisles. The selection was great, ambiance was clean, and the staff were very friendly. There is also a Starbucks located inside, was very crowded with only one worker however. I will definitely come back!

I went to Pavilions today to get a chicken dinner. The dinner was very delicious. I had two thighs, caesar salad, and macaroni salad. The service was very fast and made sure to assist me with a fork and napkins so I could enjoy my meal. Very clean inside as well. I wish I could've got chicken salad as a side by that counts as a protein but my macaroni salad was a good switch.

Used to frequent this place 25 years ago. Excellent spot for a quick pick me up if you need coffee or even food. They have a decent floral department too! Easy to get in and out of and it's never too busy. Dropped by here one night to grab a soda and gum. Was in and out in a flash. Wouldn't hesitate to drop by again when in the area.

    The corn nicely trimmed.

I love the produce department, great selection, the team gave me the ultimate shopping experience. Helped me pick my summer fruit, melons, soft fruit, corn , and cherries. 8 am and everything look amazing tables loaded with fresh fruit, Mngo gave me a free sample of the freshly squeezed OJ it was delicious. Young bubba helped me with the melons.

As part of the Albertsons group. Vons has great weekly sales and store brand items (Signature). Get the flyer by Neil, online or at the store to get the best deals. Also get the app and get rewards for anything you buy. Many times you get special offers and free items. This store is nice and well lit. The customer service people are very helpful Plenty of parking!

Toni, the Deli manager was professional and organized. She helped to make it very easy to serve 45 people celebrating a high school graduation in early June. Ordered a full-size sheet cake with photo, it was gorgeous, a beautiful center piece. Although, I would not order dark colored icing on the edges (tends to stain hands) and the raspberry filling was a bit to runny, would prefer a jam like consistency, but tasted delicious! Thank you, Toni and Deli crew, for helping to make our celebration deliciously wonderful!

From delicious food, to fresh produce, to the most gorgeous and vibrant flowers, to beautiful pottery, to unique clothes... you name it, they have it there! Make sure to come early as parking can be a bit tricky, especially if you want to park closer to the farmers' market. Once you get parked though, everything is a breeze. They even have tables and chairs around for people to eat at. There's also a playground for families who have little ones! I could never go to a farmers' market and leave without fresh flowers, so of course I had to pick up some from Hidalgo Flowers. They always have the most colorful and stunning arrangements, and for a decent price too. This time, I got a bunch with the prettiest sunflowers. We also picked up the sweetest and reddest strawberries from this one vendor. I highly regret not getting their name, but I will definitely be on the hunt for them the minute we go back. We got a cup of strawberries with some dark chocolate sauce from Strawberries and Chocolate. That was sooo good! We devoured it so quickly, we didn't even get to take a picture of it. One of the standouts for me was the Pork Sisig Rice from Baryo Eats. It was AHHHHMAZING!! It's the best kind of pork sisig that I love to eat--the taste was so good and nostalgic, it took me back to my college days back in the Philippines! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We also got some Paella from Driana Catering/Taste of Spain. It was so flavorful and the rice was cooked to perfection. We were just sad they ran out of shrimp by the time we got some, so we were left with chicken only. We got some goodies from It's Cafe Thai as well--Milk Tea with Boba, Taro Thai Coffee, and the Mango Sticky Rice. All of them had just the right amount of sweetness and hit the spot for us. Lastly, we had some of the watermelon and the cucumber lemonade refreshers, and the chicken and pork tamales from Gourmet Tamales. They were so good, we even took some home for later! Overall, I'm already looking forward to the next Sunday we can stop by this farmers' market!

Stars off for parking and crowds, but we lucked out on great parking and were on the way out when things were getting peak crazy. Now - all my treasures. There was a bread guy. Great breads. You'll know the ones you want. Oceanside? Carlsbad? I am on strike as of now and will be hard pressed to make due with a Driscolls berry. Oh - and this magical little orange. I should have bought 5 pounds. I drank fresh OJ while we were there. 11/10. I'm so happy that after an awesome vacation of vacation dates and treats we get to keep it going with some lighter meals. I made tuna salad with celery and onions. Well have grilled veg with dinner. Magical berries all day. The special grilled cheese with gruyere, honey, mustard and all the other little meals il weave my Ja Jolla open air marked finds - incredible. Then, all the things I didn't buy because they wouldn't have survived in the car. Salad. Flowers. Tomatoes. All beautiful.

WHOLE FOODS MARKET @ LA JOLLA VILLAGE…read more Whole Foods is one of my favorite grocery stores for snacks, fresh produce, and healthier food options. This location is in La Jolla Village, about a 10 minute drive from UTC. Parking is available right out front, but since it is located in a shopping plaza with several other restaurants and stores, the parking lot can definitely get busy. I usually come here during the weekdays, and surprisingly it is still pretty crowded around 1:00 PM. Even with how busy it gets, the store is always very organized, clean, and well stocked. I rarely have trouble finding what I need because the staff are constantly restocking the shelves. One thing I really like about this location is that it also has Amazon returns, which makes it super convenient if you need to drop off a package while grocery shopping. Some of my favorite items to buy here are the Simple Mills crackers. They are gluten free, made with simple ingredients, and taste so much better than a lot of processed crackers. I also love shopping for their fresh produce because they offer a great selection, including produce from local farms, which is always nice to see. Overall, I would definitely keep coming back to this Whole Foods. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the store is clean and organized, and they have a great variety of high quality groceries and healthier food options.
