A few days ago, I got sideswiped by a red car and it left the UGLIEST red scratch across my passenger door and fender. I was honestly so stressed out. I even tried to be "Miss Independent" and bought stuff off Amazon to fix it myself because I just knew a shop would try to rob me. Well, I couldn't fix it, and I was basically a damsel in distress when I finally pulled up to the center on Peachtree Blvd. Corey checked me in and was such a literal angel. He looked at the damage and told me right away, "I can fix that for you." He pulled out his spray bottle and that nasty scratch was GONE in less than 10 minutes! He didn't even want my money he just asked for an honest review. It's so rare to find nice people who don't take advantage of you, especially when you're a girl with a nice car. I asked if I could just put them in the car or would I need to take everything out, she said that it would be fine for me to put them in the cabin. I even double asked and she assured me that I didn't need to do all of that and they wouldn't need to get inside outside of moving it. I could have just as easily moved it to my boyfriend's car. I had flowers on my dashboard and charms in my car. My flowers were damaged getting stuffed in the trunk when they cleaned my car (that no one informed me would happen at all, I only sustained cosmetic damage from the accident) and a sentimental item was stolen. I reported the item missing immediately. I sent pictures when asked. Go through this whole process just to get referred to their policy. Why tell me that it's fine for me to leave items in my car when I asked if I should just go ahead and remove them? And why give the run around if you have no intention of actually finding a solution to the problem? Karen, my account manager, was extremely combative when I came in to speak with the store manager. Interjecting herself into the conversation saying that she told me to remove all items when that was not the case. And the manager David was no more helpful, backing his employee saying she tells everyone to remove their items. 0 accountability for misinformation. Nonchalant, and uncaring staff. Hopefully I never have another accident, and if I do I'm never coming here again.

They had my car over 3 months after telling me it would take about one week. I was charged $3,800…read moremore than I was quoted, and my car was unsafe and barely drivable. Difficulty turning the steering wheel, intense grinding and scraping sounds, vibrations, etc. And little to no body/cosmetic work was actually done. After taking it to another mechanic, they recommended not driving it at all because of safety concerns and continued damage due to improper and incomplete repairs. THEY ALSO FOUND A RUSTY PAIR OF PLIERS LODGED BETWEEN THE FRAME AND THE CONTROL ARM WHICH WAS CAUSING MUCH OF THE STEERING AND GRINDING ISSUES. The compressor was incorrectly placed and was shredding the timing belt. The control arms were bent and causing gouging and damage to the brakes. I paid another $3,330 to get those things fixed. I have now paid over $7,100 OVER Kong's initial $9,000 estimate just to get the car in safe driving condition. So all in I have paid over $16,100... and that's just under the hood. After several requests and sharing paperwork and all details with Kong's, they are unwilling to reimburse me for these expenses. If you have had a similar experience, I recommend filing formal complaints with: GA Attorney General, Secretary of State, Federal Trade Commission, Better Business Bureau, and local and state criminal fraud/negligence departments. *notes and pics are from the reputable mechanic that finally got my car into a safe and drivable condition.

They handled most of the communication with my insurance company, so I didn't have to go back and forth or try to figure everything alone. They would just keep me in the loop really, which I really appreciated because I always knew what was going on with my car. The whole process was way smoother than I expected. They kept me informed about timing, parts, and progress, and everything moved pretty quickly too. I never felt pressured into anything, which made me feel like I could actually trust them. One thing that really stood out was how convenient they made everything. They towed my car to shop, dropped my car back off to me when it was finished, and even returned my rental, for FREE! As a student with a busy work & school schedule, that helped me out SO SO much. When I got my car back, it honestly looked amazing, like nothing ever even happened. The paint was matching perfectly on both sides and everything looked super clean. They even cleaned the inside! Everyone I interacted with was really friendly and professional, you can tell they actually care about all customers and not just doing a job to get paid. Finding a place you can trust is huge, especially when you don't know a bunch about cars , this is definitely the best places. Super grateful for their help as I would 100% come back if I ever needed anything again (hopefully not anytime soon). I am so incredibly disappointed with my experience with this Collision Center. The only reason I…read moredecided to bring my vehicle here was that I purchased my vehicle through their Mazda dealership and assumed it would be best to have them complete my work. I should have listened to my insurance adjuster who told me to be weary just from having to work with them in the past. I will say when I first brought in my car I was blown away by the customer service. Everyone seemed to really care about you as a customer and was eager to help. I thought "There's no way this is going to be an issue.... they're so nice!" Boy was I wrong. It seemed that all of this customer service was a front to get you to leave your vehicle. Once they've got you... They've got you... I was quoted 3-4 weeks of work which was fine. I knew with the extent of the damage I had that it may go over a bit. I left my car, got a rental (it is really great that there's a rental company in the lobby) and I left. At around week 3 I reached out and was told the part needed was on back order. I advised that my rental was only covered for 30 days and asked for an ETA. I was told I would get a follow up email soon. Another two weeks go by and no update. I reached out again and was told the part was still on back order. I called and asked to speak to a manager as I had no car at that point. He advised that since it was Mazda's fault the item was not in stock then I could call Mazda cares and they would authorize a rental car for me. Elated, I called Mazda cares. They put me on hold and reached out to the Collision Center. She was advised that hey had received the part some days before to which she then came back to the call and said "well, they have the part so we can't give you a car..." Blown away by this information I reached back out to the agent I was working with and was told just another week. All in all, 7.5 weeks later I got my car back. There was a small hole in my back seat, the window screeched as it went down, and now the windshield sweats (small beads of water around the inside). When I called I was told I could bring it in and leave it all to be fixed. Fearful it would take another 8 weeks I certainly won't be doing that. Personally, I won't be touching Mazda again. I cannot wait to give my keys back and never drive one ever again.

I brought my Honda Odyssey in due to damage to my sliding passenger door. My wife forgot to close…read morethe door before backing out of the garage. I shopped around a few places including the dealer and found Carstar to have the most reasonable price. The service was quick and the work was completed when promised. I will say the tech did make one mistake and somehow forgot to put the actual lock lever back into the door. I did not notice it due to the fact that I had a carseat on that side and never opened the door from the inside. Fast-forward 2 years, the carseats have been moved to the back row, and we realize we cannot unlock the door manually after my wife was trying to exit after sitting in the back. I stopped by and spoke with Reggie not really sure if they would be willing to do anything about it since it had been over 2 years since the work was completed. Even though the mistake was made before Reggie's time, he immediately apologized and told me that he would take care of it. I can honestly say I was a bit surprised as it had been so long before I noticed the issue, and it had taken me even longer to bring it in to have them look at it. Through the entire process Reggie has been awesome and as promised they replaced the missing lever. I can say that for any future repairs Carstar will be my go to repair shop.
