    I didn't have the same great experience everyone else did who left a review. Red was NOT professional towards me on the day that I came to pick up my car 10/22/21. I chose this place based on all the great reviews about Red and their paint jobs. I spoke to Red on the phone and she seemed to understand that my work schedule did not work with D&D Kustoms hours of operations but stated she would stay after hours if she had to to accommodate me. Even thou I felt the price for the repair was a bit pricey for the scratch on my bumper, I still came in Monday on October 18, 2021, paid the $440 deposit and dropped off my car. This is when I was told that my car would be ready on Friday~10/22/221). I never got a call about any delays or an update on my car so I came in at when they opened. Red greeted me, told me that my car was not ready, the repairman was not in yet but she will call him to have my bumper put back on. I left to get the $400 and came back where Red greeted me again, grabbed my folder, and took my money. I guess she saw the look on my face & asked me what was wrong. I expressed that I was not happy that my car was still not ready for an overpriced job and I was there on the 5th day (the day they said it would be ready) as advised and that I had to work at 12:30PM and did not have time to come back to pick up my car since I get off at 9PM & they close at 5PM (There is a sign on their wall that clearly states that if your car is not picked up after being notified that it is ready, there will be a $35 per day charge to hold your vehicle). I told her I wanted my car and that I will take my car somewhere else for them to put the bumper back on because I refuse to pay $70 when they open on Monday at 8AM. This is where the unprofessionalism comes in: Red throws the folder down on the desk and slaps her hand on the folder and gets loud with me basically stating its not her problem that their hours do not work for me and that at 5PM when they close she has to go to sleep. That that sign is for different customers (which did not make sense to me at all) and throws my money on the desk, pushes the money towards me and tells me to take my money and get out. Mind you they have my car (MY property) and refusing to give me my car that I asked for. I told her I am NOT taking the money back since that was the balance that was owed on my invoice. She kept telling to get out and that I will be called when my bumper was back on my car. I told her that I am a paying customer and that she was being very rude and unprofessional and that I will never do business with them again and would never recommend them to my family and friends and that I was going to leave a (honest) review of my experience. (My daughter has video proof of this whole ordeal).She then advised that I can go ahead and leave my review but she will rebuttal my review. That my car will be outside for me to pickup when it was ready. As I was walking out she was still talking but all I made out is that she is human. I got a call a little after 11AM advising that my car was ready for pickup. I came in to get my key and this is when Red told me that my receipt and money was in the visor. I DID NOT WANT MY MONEY BACK SINCE THEY DID THE REPAIR WORK. I expressed that I was not happy with the car not being ready and how she handled the whole situation PERIOD. I gave her the $400 back and asked for an updated receipt. Never did I raise my voice, cuss at Red or berate her or D&D Kustoms. I just wanted my car on the day that I was promised that it would be ready and I came in at a time that accommodated my work schedule during their business hours. If there was an open line of communication, and was advised on Thursday what was going on with my car, then I would of tried to make arrangements to come pick up my car later on in the day before they closed. They did a great job on the damage but there is a line of dripping (clear coat) along the whole bumper that I will take to another paint shop to fix. I included photos.

    My husband has used this shop for all of our repairs for several years. They never disappoint. They treat you like family, and make sure that you are well aware of what's going on with your repair. Red is the cherry on top. There is no one like her. Such a breath of fresh air, it this culture where people to people relationship is rare. Everything is DIY, online to process simple requests. They guarantee their work for the lifetime of ownership. It doesn't hey any better than that. Do yourself a favor and lock this shop I yo your contact, as your go-to for all things collision.

    My bumper came off and she fixed it and did an excellent job I would recommend anybody living in McDonald Stockbridge, Henry County area

However a few weeks later when I attempted to wash it, I was horrified to find that my (two year old car) paint was discolored and damaged. After trying everything I could think of I realized that the hood would need repainted. I took it to Curry's in McDonough. I went over the issue with Susan and she came out and looked at the paint as well. She asked alot of questions to get to the bottom of what could have happened so that the shop would know what to expect. Long story made shorter, Curry's took special pains to ensure the paint job they did on the hood would last. They agreed that some kind of solvent had gotten on the hood and the hood had to be brought down to the metal, and then painted and due to blending the pin stripes had to be replaced. We got the car back and it looks better than ever!!! Thank you Susan and thank you Curry's for restoring my cars luster!!! I could not be happier with their work! Jeff and Lisa

I called Curry Collision the first question was are you okay. I then began to explain my situation she told me what was gonna happen and everything I was told happened. I've received calls, and Email about my car status and when it should be returned. I don't want to be a regular with them but I highly recommend their service. Customer service at its best.

Unfortunately, I didn't find out till later that he mis aligned my automatic window which now doesn't roll all the way up the way it used to. I didn't discover this until a month later when I took my car to the car wash and when it was going thru the wash, water was coming into my car. When I did a closer inspection I discovered that the window doesn't roll all the way up. Other then that I was satisfied with the over all work. If you have auto windows make sure your window /s are set back to manufacturer specs

    For me, it's in the details. Since having my car repaired from a collision, I've come across a few…read moreproblems. 1. The rear lift gate no longer closes properly when the weather is cold. It's kicks back open. 2. The rear windshield wipers were not hooked back up properly and they no longer work to spray fluid. 3. The badging was installed differently than factory with different spacing. 4. One of the muffler tailpipes is crooked and doesn't sit evenly in the cutout and it looks odd once you've noticed it. I took my vehicle to Volvo because of the wiper and trunk issue. They took one look and told me to contact the body shop as it would not be warranty work since it was not properly installed/adjusted/repaired by the insurance body shop. I was sad as I've used this shop on the past, but won't return again.
