I can honestly say it was one of the most delicious pasta dishes I've had in my entire life. I believe it was angel hair pasta with fresh basil, tomatoes, mozzarella, and olive oil--simple ingredients, perfectly executed. I'm a meat-and-potatoes guy, and I absolutely devoured it. The Sauvignon blanc was crisp, the Kumamoto and Pink Moon oysters were fresh and briny, and the owner's frequent check-ins locked in a great experience. We had the special, a Black Truffle Tagliolini with 1/2 a Maine lobster and let me tell you...I can still taste it. A true half lobster, claw to tail, was cooked to buttery softness. My husband commented that he thinks it was one of the best cooks on a lobster he's ever had. We finished the evening with a limoncello cake that was subtle, moist, and scrumptious. We go to restaurants hoping for good food and a nice atmosphere. When the staff goes above and beyond, it really adds to the experience. I've had octopus many times before and didn't know it could taste that good or be that tender. The name lives up to the dish! Also ordered the Poseidon Seafood Pasta, which was delicious as well. Everything we tried was great, but the octopus stole the show. Special thanks to Apollo, Vasillis, and Chef Demetrios for the wonderful service and food. This was the only dinner of our trip we didn't make a reservation for...we just happened upon it, and it ended up being our favorite meal of the trip.
