Our first time trying Cuban food was 10 out of 10 amazing. Every dish we ordered was so flavorful. I recommend the Cubano sandwich and the chorizo stuffed chicken with yellow rice.

We were in from out of town and my son read all the great reviews of Bella Cuba and they were spot on!! I give it 5 stars!! Bella Cuba is an authentic Cuban restaurant and they've been around over 20 years... food was so good. I wish they were located closer to home in NJ ! I had the Guava salad bowl and added chicken. OMG this salad was incredible. I will make sure I flag this review of mine because we are coming back next time I'm in Miami!! I could see all the locals here... this restaurant is the real deal. Back to my salad... the top was covered with onions and the guava dressing... drooling just thinking of it. The chicken was also so flavorful and the perfect addition to this meal. My son had the Churrasco Steak and he ate every single morsel on his plate. he loved it. We both celebrated being in town for the College Football Championship and toasted the Indiana Hoosiers and Fernando Mendoza with this great meal and mojitos!! I will definitely be back and you should give this place a try. service was really good and don't forget to make a reservation. They get very busy and it's a nice cozy restaurant.

This place is AMAZING!! The food was to die for, we got the oxtail stew, drunk chicken and rice, and all of it was so delicious, including the fried sweet plantains we chose as a side. Our waitress was so nice and we shared many jokes and laughs with her. We got great recommendations for what to order and the mojitos were great also! Absolutely would recommend if you're looking for top notch Cuban food in the area!!

Really nice authentic Cuban food in a place of many options. Needed a good reliable meal that was budget friendly after a good day of work. The vibe was chill and homie and welcoming. Seating inside and outside. Service took a little while but once you got their attention you got your order in and your meal in a reasonable amount of time. Food was delicious and we didn't let any go to waste.

I loved my meal here! Charming space with very kind and warm service. My spouse and I both had fish dishes and both were fantastic-- delicious sauces. Sides were high quality too. Not too loud, music was lively but it's not a raucous club-y atmosphere. Definitely coming back here!

Me oh my, what a spot. We knew coming to Miami would be filled with Cuban delights and this place was so good, we came back for dinner. Starting lunch off with some sliders, a mojito, and a cubano, everything HIT SO HARD. The mojito was perfect with a nice flag hanging out, the sliders were an awesome mashup of beef and chorizo, and that cubano. I've had Cubanos in the west coast and in Vegas, but they don't even come close to this place. Not even in the same country, seriously. The service for lunch AND dinner were friendly. They showed us a great time, gave us solid recommendations, and I would highly recommend coming back. Also, if you don't like beans and rice, I'd try them here and the platanos. They were so good and so was that oxtail stew. Order the stew with some rice! It was in a tiny little restaurant so it may be hard to take a large group, but for date night or a 4 top, this place is perfect.

Cute place right in the heart of Miami. Great Cuban dishes, food comes out hot and delicious. The oxtail was the star of the show. Portion was perfect and we left very satisfied. The service was great. They were attentive and helpful

This place is amazing with a delicious menu & very good vibes. Our server Jonel was super awesome. He recommended us the Ceviche de pescado with plantain chips; the Sword fish was well marinated in the sauce, extremely tasteful, great pairing with the plantain chips. My wife had the Pollo A La Plancha With yellow rice and plantains "She loved it!" I had the Grilled chicken supreme with shrimp & pineapple gratin. "It was deliciously good, superb!" i finished off with a warm & elegant Cuban coffee. I totally recommend this great Cuban restaurant

If you go to Miami, you have got to have Cuban food. Thankfully I did so and with people who I enjoy talking with. The people working here boast about how popular the food is in Miami, and I can see why. I really enjoyed the oxtail stew and the yuca, both boiled and fried. The food is delicious and the vibes are classic. The Cuban sandwich was as I expected, after having first fallen in love with the Cuban sandwich back during my undergraduate days. I loved the paintings of Cuban life. This place is in walking distance of the Miami Beach Convention Center, and thankfully we came here early before everyone else did.

Set on a bustling street, Bella Cuba offers a comfortable respite from the heat of Miami Beach. Natural lighting and Cuban music invite you to dine in a relaxing setting. Restaurant staff are eager to provide hospitality and are proud of their establishment. They have every right to be - the service is excellent and the food is buttery and flavorful. Try the Cuban sandwich and fried plantains!

I'm giving 3 stars for the service. Our server was nice, but there were a few things I wasn't too happy about. We were offered still or sparking water, so I said "still". I should've asked for tap water but it didn't cross my mind. The water was $12 which was a surprise since it was almost the price of the food! When I paid by card, the server with the credit card machine was on the phone speaking with the manager in Spanish. The screen of the credit card machine was faced away the whole time so we wouldn't have been able to see the total. It was a bit shocking being charged almost $37 for one dish that cost $17! The service charge is ~20% and already included in the bill. Even though the food was good, I felt a bit icky from this experience so I won't come again when I'm in Miami Beach. If it was only one of the above I would've been able to brush it off easier, but the combination of being charged for expensive water + not being shown the total before being charged + server being on the phone + 20% service charge before tip was quite a lot. I sat outside and it was really nice being right on the sidewalk and people watching! Cute restaurant and great location right in the heart of Miami Beach.

The staff is beyond friendly and attentive, often stopping by and not only checking on you but also to simply converse about your meal, opinions on the food, or chat about whatever you want to bring up. That is a level of personalness that just doesn't exist in most restaurants or even the service industry. The decor is soft and inviting; intimate; it has a soft, yellow lighting and the rest of the environment is meant to contrast the lighting. It's a nod to not only the owners' backgrounds and roots, but also to the old school fine dining environments. It set the stage perfectly for what was to come. The tasting menu is 10 dishes and is served in 4 courses (apps, small plates, entrees, dessert), served in a 3 plate course until dessert which is 1 dish. Each dish is unique in its own right, yet contrasts from the others so you don't get fatigue from a single flavor or style. For example, the app course that I had was a wahoo ceviche, a shrimp and green papaya salad, and an endive and sharp cheese salad (served in wrapped endive leaves). They all worked together, but offered vastly different textures and contrasting flavors while feeling like an orchestra working together in your mouth. This experience continued through the entrees and I cannot opine on the dessert (rum cake) because I took it to go because I was so full... which has never happened to me in a tasting menu before. Paya is not only worth consideration in a saturated market of fine dining in Miami, it is one that should be prioritized and experienced as an indulgence of senses and flavors. While it may seem expensive in a vacuum, it is 33-50% cheaper than a slew of other tasting menus in the city and offers more courses for that cheaper price.

For the miami spice starter I tried the ceviche which has great presentation and quite flavorful. As for the main, I got the fish in curry which was a table favorite! The rum cake was his signature dessert like in Mamey... however, unlike Mamey they didn't pour the sauce at the table and mine felt a little lacking something. If you're looking for something unique to try at the Citadel, Manjay is worth a shot. They serve Haitian cuisine. Portions were generous and in general, the food was kind of heavy. Many of the components I believe were made to order, so there was a short wait. Here's what my wife and I ordered: Appetizer: * Caribbean Conch Fritters ($14) - Manjay pikliz, honey mustard remoulade These were big and tasty. Six pieces, like giant hush puppies with conch inside. The plate came with pikliz in the center. Pikliz is like the Haitian version of coleslaw, made with cabbage, carrots, onions, and peppers. Manjay's version was spicy and yummy. Bowls, each with 2 sides and 1 sauce: * Honey Jerk Chicken Bowl ($18) - breaded and tossed in Manjay's homemade honey jerk sauce; with red beans rice and sweet plantains and scotch bonnet mango aioli * From Haiti with Love (Griyo) ($18) - Deep-fried Kreyol-style slow-braised pork; with banan payzay and toofay Both the chicken and pork were very good and flavorful. The pork was served bone-in. The rice and beans and sweet plantains were comforting and addictive. The scotch bonnet mango aioli was spicy. Banan payzay are Haitian pressed plantains. These were savory and starchy. The toofay ("legume") was good too. It's a hearty vegetable stew, essentially Haitian ratatouille. Our cashier was Roniqua and she was nice. During our visit, I think Manjay had the longest line (a good sign). After walking around, looking at the other food court options and seeing Manjay's high rating on Yelp, we were sold on Manjay. We dined in so we got real plates and silverware. We actually took everything up to the rooftop bar and ate up there. Our trays were bussed by the staff on the roof. Along with this location at the Citadel food court in Little River (just north of Little Haiti), Manjay has a casual strip location near the Miami airport in Doral.
