You can tell by the attitudes of the employees and the quality of the plants available that a lot of care goes into their business. We got mostly veggie starters and a few plants and got out of there for a little over $50. For that we pretty much filled up the back of the car. Most of the plants we got were around $2.50, in great shape, and ready to go. It is located on an old dairy farm, so it is kind of fun little "go to the country" road trip. Garlic bulbs at Garden treasures are 20$ a pound-- again, you can get boxes of garlic bulbs for much cheaper from other nearby family farms. I could go on. Again, if you can afford it, this is a cool one stop shop for good crops. For my family (we are farmers too) it's just way too expensive/ not a good bang for your buck at all... especially in this economy. My suggestion is-- look to FB marketplace for amazing deals on seasonal crops, you'll get a lot more for your dollar and you're still shopping local.
