I found out their store was in Snohomish and set a date to go up and take a visit. All of their pieces were surprisingly affordable and even more beautiful at their Snohomish shop. We ended up purchasing a whole lot of planters, bowls and vases and using them as the centerpieces for our wedding! Everyone loved them and commented how unique each one were. My husband and I now have Bruning pieces all over our home and use the smaller bowls for side dishes or ice cream! So versatile and I don't think I'll ever get rid of them. Looking to expand our collection soon! I've met a sweet lady, Catherine, who's helped me a few times as well as the owner, who took me into the back to pick out some of their top pieces. It was more expensive than I expected, and they were out of quite a few paint colors. When we arrived, we were told someone would come help us get started, but no one ever came back. We sat at our table for about 10 minutes waiting, and no one checked on us, so we eventually just got started ourselves. Thankfully, we were with people who had been there before and could answer our questions. I think a little more attention to first-time customers and better customer service would have made the experience much better, especially for the price.

Sadly, after i picked up my mug and took it home to have a cup of tea, it cracked when the hot (not even boiling) water was added. When I called and explained what it happened the person at the store just said that that "sometimes happens with pottery" and "the only way I could've avoided this was to get the stoneware glaze". They did not offer to have me come back in and redo a new mug. None of this was explained to me when I was choosing the glazed selections for my mug or when I picked up the mug. I knew one of the glaze that I picked was not food safe, but I was careful to put it on the outside. When I picked up the mug after firing, there was no paper insert with care instructions. So I guess I'll be going to a different pottery place to replace the mug at my own expense and asking more questions like "can I put tea in this tea cup?" next time. One star for spending $32 plus tax on a mug that broke before I could enjoy it and that no longer holds liquid. Buyer beware.

I didn't want the standard arrangements that you see so often at funerals and COLs. Liz was exited to create something unique and personal for us. My mom loved Hawaii and loved the Pacific Northwest, so I asked for tropical arrangements, PNW arrangements, and a large display that included both. Liz did that exceedingly well! She even included horsetails with the PNW look, something that is very unique and not typically part of any arrangements that I have seen. I appreciated being able to talk to her on the phone when needed, as well as the quick response I got an emails. On the day of the event, we were short one arrangement, so her team put together an additional arrangement on the spot. The final bill surprised me! I thought we would be paying much more than the final amount turned out to be.
