I was at this location yesterday to screen for a clinical study. The staff was really incompetent and untrained. The nurse practitioner has an extremely aggressive bedside manner, telling what symptoms she thought I should be experiencing, even though I wasn't. Dr. Lizotte freaked my husband out telling him I was going to have a stroke or cardiac episode. He insisted I should go to the ER because something was wrong. He insisted the ER nurse would look at my blood pressure and rush me back. Not the case at all, I ended up spending 8 hours sitting in an ER and left with no diagnosis, normal labs and EKG. The folks in the office there don't even know how to take a manual blood pressure, they solely rely on machines to do their job! Do better folks! Don't go here for healthcare or to participate in a study. read more

I am so lucky to have Dr. Paul Lizotte as my, and my husband's doctor. I have been a RN for 40 years and have never had care like Dr. Lizotte provides. He is super smart, kind, thorough and best is he really cares. He has a wonderful bedside manner, listens and always has the patients best interest at heart. He truly cares about his patients, they come first! Today Dr. Lizotte went way above and beyond for me. I had a mammogram and was never notified, as is law, from the facility.Turns out I have a nodule that needs further study. 3 weeks has gone by and I didn't know. The study clearly states they would call me and they did not. Dr. Lizotte called the Supervisor of the Imaging facility to discuss this situation. Dr. Lizotte is a Board Certified Radiologist as well so he knows the laws and rules/regs. Now, what doctor does that?! He stopped and took the time to care about me to assure I get the proper and timely follow up. Guess what, because of him I got my appointment for Wednesday instead of 3 - 4 more weeks out. But, this is who he is, and what he does! We could go to any doctor but we choose, and have for many, many years to go to Dr. Lizotte. We feel safe under his care and not sure what we'd do without him. He is notches above others!! I left the message several times and never received a callback. This reflects poorly on his staff. I am writing this on the behalf of my Mom and her consistent negative experiences with this establishment. She gets a call yesterday from them a few minutes prior to noon. She is not able to answer and it went to voicemail. The voice message asked for her to call back. She promptly did and it went to voicemail. After doing so several times, I also did and it also went to voicemail. I left a voice message as well. We gave "the benefit of the doubt" and see if they called back that afternoon. There was no phone call and this is not an isolated incident. There are other customers who walked in and complained about the same issue. The receptionist gave an excuse that it involved their phones being connected to Tri City Hospital's phones and that they were down. That was roughly two weeks prior and I think it is ridiculous that these problems are not fixed. read more

You never , ever get to talk to the staff. This is unfortunate because it is like the DMV, you can never get through. For that reason I will be looking for a new doctor. Not a very accommodating office. Had an appointment and got the 6min late an a new patient. They sent me a text, not call, about having to be the 30min early. I had an hour drive to get there and was stuck in heavy traffic so I wasn't able to get there early. Tried giving them a call 2 times and was sent to voicemail. Left a voicemail and texted them to inform them about the situation 30-40min prior to getting there. Finally I got there and they told me they had to reschedule me. Even though I filled out my paperwork in less than 10min. I asked if the doctor knew about the situation (I work in the medical field as well and we're very accommodating to the patients) and they said he will absolutely not see patients that are not on time. I was only 6min late to my actual appointment time! Very disappointed because I took off from work early to be able to make this appointment that I waited over a month for since the doctor was on vacation. I get everyone needs vacation but I'm disappointed in the experience and how the front office lady handled the situation. She didn't even get up from her chair to let the doctor know about everything. read more

I have an appointment with this office later this week. When I called to give them my insurance information, I was told 4 times by Jackie that I was not in Blue Shields network. Even though I asked her 4 times if she was spelling my name right, she said she had. When I asked to spell it, she was adding an extra letter. It's very frustrating to that should not get the spelling correct even after asking her. Dr. Lizotte is a true standout from the typical Temecula/Murrieta doctor. My wife and I have experienced both the "quick in-and-out prescription writing" doctor to the "whole body supplement prescription" physician, but Dr. Lizotte is neither. Right away, Dr. Lizotte demonstrated that his number one concern is patient care. He wasn't interested in getting me out the door quickly or putting me through an unending regime and pushing me to buy a number of supplements. Instead, we could tell in the first few minutes that he's different from the rest--he's knowledgeable, has tons of experience, and does whatever it takes to get a correct diagnosis and treatment. For instance, it turned out that I needed a specialist, and he referred me to a doctor outside of his own medical group who he felt would be more competent to handle my case. I have never had a doctor as good as Dr. Lisotte. I have seen many doctors, since I was the person to accompany relatives to their doctors. Dr. Lisotte is knowledgeable, very smart, very kind and patient. He has a vast background which he easily conveyed to me at my appointments. Some of the office could use a little more training. Once when I called to speak to his nurse, I was told, that since she had not called me, I could not talk to her, period. Another was very frustrating with insurance charges. As others have stated, Dr. Lizotte is the best at what he does. He not only has a great bedside manner but he is also attentive to your needs as a patient. He provides detail oriented information and quality care. He is very knowledgeable and experienced and if he does not know the answer to something he will research it and provide you with solid info. If there are multiple treatment options/medications he takes the time to explain each to ensure you are making the best choice for yourself. Had an appt with him yesterday to get my Hepatitis Vaccine and he asked me if there was anything else that brought me in for a visit I told him that I had knee surgery in December and I found out he used to be a radiologist and I have PVNS in my knee which was the reason for surgery and he was so so INVOLVED as he's very familiar with what I had. To be honest he was 100x better than my orthopaedic surgeon. He wasn't trying to get to the next patient like every single doctor I've already been to in Temecula. I spent an inaugural hour today at Dr. Paul Lizotte's new office in Oceanside today called Seaside Medical Group (https://seasidemedgroup.com). This was a special visit for me since my current medical insurance will cease at the end of October. Dr. Lizotte's staff is wonderful--very patient and friendly. I think Dr. Lizotte just relocated from the Temecula area, so don't worry that his office appears to be brand new. This doctor knows his stuff. He is very well read, experienced, and obviously educated in multiple areas of medicine and physical conditions. Now, I will say he is a good story teller, but I think that's how he gets to know his patients better, so in this world of hurry, hurry, hurry, I had to step back and let his process unfold during our visit. I'm glad I did as it is very obvious he cares about his patients and is a good listener. Today was my first visit and I am hopeful that I will be able to have this same insurance provider with my next job so I can continue to be a patient of Dr. Lizotte. I moved to Temecula, CA in October 2017. It has taken almost a year for me to establish myself with a primary care Dr. I have seen several others. But they were less than mediocre. Dr. Lizzote impressed me within the first minuet! He is a Pharmacist and a Radiologist and a Family Medicine Doctor! His credentials are incredible. He got his training by Ernest Mazzaferri who was world renowned endocrinologist at the University of Ohio. Dr. Lizzote knows his medication! With a backround as a pharmacist he knows what interacts with what. He is absolutely the best primary care physician I have ever encountered or had. I am a Registered Nurse and have been for years and I have never seen such an amazing doctor like him! The front office is very frustrating and RUDE!! But keep in mind that you are not there to see them, you are at the right place to see a very prestigious physician. He does not have control over who runs the front office. I first went to Dr. Lizotte for a physical and referral for foot problems. I also decided since I had turned 40, I should do blood work for vitamin, mineral and food allergies. I wasn't having any problems but just as a precaution. He had urged me to be checked for Celiac because it runs in my family and I was hesitant since I have never had any problems with gluten. I did and to my surprise I was positive for Celiac, and scary low in Vitamin D and Iron. To say I was in shock is an understatement. Dr. Lizotte recommended a gastrointestinal Doctor and a hematologist, both that I adore. He also recommended a wonderful podiatrist and now, one year later, I am free of foot pain and gluten free. I would have never known this and would still be doing damage to my body today if he hadn't of pushed me. I am forever grateful. Hands down, best doctor in Riverside County. Never rushes, ACTUALLY LISTENS (!!), and treats appropriately. Amusing, calm bedside manner really helps soothe nerves and allay fears. Explains things thoroughly and has no problem answering questions. My insurance changed and I can't see him anymore, and I am devastated. With my new insurance, I've been to one new (very meh) primary, who referred to not one, but TWO complete money-grubbing, GARBAGE specialists who rushed through my appts.
