The nurse practitioner has an extremely aggressive bedside manner, telling what symptoms she thought I should be experiencing, even though I wasn't. Dr. Lizotte freaked my husband out telling him I was going to have a stroke or cardiac episode. He insisted I should go to the ER because something was wrong. He insisted the ER nurse would look at my blood pressure and rush me back. Not the case at all, I ended up spending 8 hours sitting in an ER and left with no diagnosis, normal labs and EKG. The folks in the office there don't even know how to take a manual blood pressure, they solely rely on machines to do their job! Do better folks! Don't go here for healthcare or to participate in a study.

This is a review for Kelly Halloran who is part of the Aspire VIP Skin Care…read more Kelly is a master a cosmetic dermatology. I'm reviewer her as a patient and also because of my girlfriend Wendy also recently went through a PSR Portrait with Kelly. Wendy has been though a multitude of plastic surgeries and skin procedures. The PSR Portrait is the one that really makes a difference for her regarding taking years off her looks. Wendy is very happy with her procedure. I'll upload photos of Wendy in a few days of her before/after. One of the things that makes Kelly really stand out from others giving a PSR Portrait is her attention to detail and her aftercare. She requires patients to come in everyday afterwards for a few days. This isn't just for pictures though. It's to make sure everything is going well. She cleans her patients on each visit and gives them a LED Lightwaves Treatment as well as an OXY MIST treatment. These treatments take about 3-4 days off the recovery time that normally occurs with a PSR Portrait. I received a Lightwaves LED treatment from Kelly for 7 days. I was in an unusual situation as I was in my 6 month time frame recovering from my necklift /lipo. I can say the Lightwave treatment makes a difference as after 2-3 days the skin on my neck was much tighter. It was actually tight to swallow for an hour or 2 later on after each treatment. I strongly recommend Dr Julie Aspiras and Kelly Halloran

Another two women came in and one was called in first, then the guy and then a lady that walked in five minutes ago gets called in. WTH? And this is only one experience. If you complain the female staff gets nasty and vindictive. The doc does nothing. I really think this totally is inappropriate. So we asked and were told there are two docs here but not specifically if those people that came in are attached to which doc. The girl who handled us puts all calls on hold while she types away and sings to herself and either then answers the call on hold or they hang up. Who knows. If my 100% disabled vet spouse wasn't on so many meds AND on dialysis, I would find another doc. I hate how the medical industry gets people over a barrel like this!!

Personnel make every effort to be both punctual and pleasant. Recently I had a CT scan. Jessica , the lab professional who did the procedure, like many of her colleagues at this location, made the entire experience comfortable and easy. I actually enjoyed this experience . . Just wanted to take a moment to commend a very effective and professional group of employees.

Orthopedics appointment here further away from home when I could not get one in Encinitas…read more Easy lot parking in the PM. Unusual layout of building was more than offset when several associates asked me how they could help, always pointing me in the right directions. On their own initiative. Dr. Braunstein gave steroid injection into painful toe joint, the pain of which has vanished 24 hours later. Great overview of what was going on and related issues. I saw none of the attitudes, etc. described in older reviews about the place generally and Orthopedics specifically. I experienced auto problems (see below) and was not scolded for being late or upsetting scheduling. Which the Torry Pines facility sometimes did. The problem is its entrance. A single lane in each direction. Not prominently enough identified by signage on the main roadways. Needs many more "H" blue signs with arrows strategically placed a distance away. And it feeds directly off a shopping center entrance which I had never seen before for a hospital. Needs a traffic light, if the shopping center entry further down the feeding road has a traffic light, then more so a hospital should. (Single entry/exit; what if there were a fire?) Entry via the parking structure was forbidden by staff only signage. If you have not been there before, even if you had been a long while ago as I once was, you are going to likely miss one or more turns. Spent 20 minutes being diverted into various roads including those that would all but force cars onto the freeway, trying to turn around to get to the single-entrance place. SUMMARY: Nice place, quality assistance and care, when you make it. Minus one star for learning curve for driving in!
