Never touched me, listened to my heart or lungs, looked in my ears or throat or anything. He Just sat behind his desk and ordered lab tests. Staff is TERRIBLE with no follow through. They are more interested in their cell phones than working. Final clincher was his rude brother Ned who left a very threatening phone message about an $11 balance due. When I called him on it and mentioned the thousands of dollars Dr Moasis had billed me and my mother's insurance, he apologized and said he was out of line. He repeatedly asked me to delete the phone message he left me. I sent a letter and copy of voice message translation to Dr Moasis but NEVER got any response. It seemed like Dr Moasis' biggest goal was to continually schedule return appointments for no reason at all except a "follow up" so he could bill my insurance. I know he is on his own now and starting up his practice, but his lack of organization and even the most cursory exam of me during my two year time with him is ridiculous. the unnecessary follow up appts just to bill my insurance were bordering on dishonesty. So glad I found another doctor who actually examined me and provided valuable input so I could resolve an ear issue I didn't even know existed that had been impacting my hearing for 3 years!. There office sends me a letter telling me to find care somewhere else, which I was planning on anyway, but how pathetic that there front office receptionist can't handle a patient calling there office out on a charge that's completely unacceptable and unethical. I probably am THAT patient that some doctors get irritated with, because I went in with a list of items that we needed to chat about or get referrals for. And as we talked, he made a mental note of each one. He fully addressed each and every thing I wanted to discuss and then moved onto the next. For me, this appointment crossed a TON off my to-do list as it was so productive. I think we can all agree that we've walked out of a doctor's office and said "oh shoot, he didn't tell me about ____". With Dr. Whitney, you'll never have to worry about that. After the fact, Dr. Whitney personally followed up with me, and advised me he'd submitted my referrals and I should be hearing back soon. I've never had such personable attention from any Doctor's office let alone one Doctor specifically!
