I called to request an evaluation and a service estimate, and the interaction with a woman was extremely poor, with nothing but monosyllabic and unhelpful responses. If this is the level of service they provide during a simple phone call, I can only imagine what their service is like once they are actually doing the work. No, thank you. Although it has been many years since we replaced all of the windows in our home, and had the wood trim clad with aluminum, we are very happy with the Andersen windows installed by Paul Henry's Window. The aluminum clad wood sashes have performed very well for us. The improvement over the original single-glazed wood windows and triple-track aluminum storm windows is amazing. We received quotes from 7 or 8 companies, and the Andersen windows worked best for us. The installers did a fantastic job, and we would definitely hire Paul Henry again. read more

I am in disbelief. My wife scheduled an appointment for a window replacement estimate and asked that the sales associate would please wear a mask. The owner's wife on the phone said that he usually doesn't do that, ( wear a mask) but she agreed to let him know. The owner himself showed up yesterday and my mother in law opened the door and let him in without a mask. That was her mistake. However, when my wife came down from her office she asked the associate to please put a mask on an he refused. He stated that he was vaccinated and my wife responded that she she had a compromised Immunsysteme, it wouldn't matter that he was vaccinated and that he obviously doesn't understand. He said "oh yes, I do understand" and that he would not put a mask on. My wife asked him to leave. I am really in disbelief. He refused to wear a mask in our house and tried to make my wife's mask request a political issue. It is not political, it is a customer's medical condition and her physician's advice to wear a mask around vaccinated and unvaccinated people. I had the front and back doors in my condo replaced with Provia doors. ($6k+ for both). My initial meeting with this company was great and I felt convinced, I had chosen the right company to replace my doors. I've had no issues with the back door but after the front door was installed, it didn't seal properly. I pointed this out to the installer and he told me to slam it shut to ensure it sealed but that didn't work. I continued to see daylight around the door so I called Paul Henry Doors to make them aware. The guy that came out seemed annoyed that he had to come out. He told me not to slam it shut and said the door would seal automatically after it's closed. He adjusted the hinges but now it's crooked and the upper right hand corner of the door does not seal. I'm not happy at all but have hesitated calling Paul Henry Doors back because no doubt they will be annoyed again if they have to come out I truly believe that If I were a man, I would have been treated differently. Guess I'll have to call one of their competitors too come out and properly adjust or fix it. Hoping the issue is not because of the way it was installed and if it is, then i will be calling them back. read more

I had 6 windows installed by Paul Henry's Windows in April 2023. The main reason that I got the windows was to reduce street noise that I was experiencing in my bedroom and bathroom. The windows are fine and the installers were friendly, but there has been no reduction in street noise. I am not naive. I wasn't expecting soundproof windows, but I was hoping for some noise reduction. I am not sure if there was an issue with the insulation around the windows or whether spray foam should have been used to create a more airtight seal. Overall, it has not turned out to be a worthwhile purchase. read more

I got several quotes from major/larger companies and the experience with the sales staff and the bad reviews from customers of the competitors led me to choose Paul Henry. It's smaller, local, and has a good reputation with my neighbors. A business doesn't last this long by performing bad work, or treating its customers poorly in a small location. The doors were Installed on time, when promised. They look and work amazing, the quality difference between builder installed doors and glass versus pro-via is amazing. The protected my flooring, cleaned up after the job was done, and left me with a beautiful finished product, warranty information, and a new owners kit from the manufacturer. I could not be more satisfied for the money I spent. I decided he had too few reviews so it was time to provide an honest one. The metal work, threshold, and hardware were all much higher quality that I had before. The door fits and locks/unlocks better than any doors on the house. I've never written a Yelp review, but this company is so amazing that I had to! They installed all new windows in our house last summer, and when searching for a different vendor on Yelp I was inspired to rave about this company. The first impression, the salesman, was very different from the other estimates we had gotten. There was no pressure, he had knowledgeable recommendations on what would match our existing sliding doors, and the pricing was competitive - even more so because we had to custom order windows to get a color that would go with our house. (We have stained trim instead of painted; white Windows would look ridiculous in here.) Paul himself came to take measurements and was very professional, knowledgable, and friendly. There was a longer wait than usual because of the custom order, but that was clearly communicated ahead of time so we knew what to expect. When the installers came, they were professional and friendly, and clearly knew what they were doing. Our upstairs Windows required more work than expected to remove, and they had to be cut out with a sawzall. However, we were not charged any more and the installers had a great attitude about it. They were also patient with my 3-year-old's bazillion questions and made sure to not let the cats out! The work was done quickly, they cleaned up after themselves, and the whole time they were just so pleasant to be around. We always try to use small and/or family businesses, and this company is an example of why--the personal touch and family feeling go a long way when you're spending a good chunk of money on home repairs. Hello All. Iam writing a review of Paul Henry's Windows. My experience with Paul goes back a year and a half where my wife and I met him at the Fredericksburg Home Show in 2011. We were searching to replace our old windows in our Townhome in Springfield, VA. We spoke for 15 minutes at the show and set up a consultation for him to discuss his process and how his company works to fit our needs. He is very professional in his demeanor and treats the customer with respect and does not use subcontractors. WE decided to go with Paul Henry's Windows because we thought he was an honest guy and was true to his word. We ordered Andersen Wood Windows. Now we waited a few months before the product was installed and delivered. We did have some hiccups along the way. Thre supplier screwed up the order and refused to offer a discount becasue of their ordering mistake. Paul Henry's Windows gave us a $650.00 discount out of their pockets because of the wait to have to new windows resent from the factory. The windows were installed in October, 2011. Paul Henry's Windows is a family oriented business and we had his brother and 3 others working on our job. They finished the windows in 2 days, but had to come back a few weeks later to install the sliding glass door for the deck. The installers were all professional, talkative, answered our questions and very professional. Paul Henry, The owner even gave me his cell phone number to contact him for any reason. Most companies will not share that and if they do , they never respond. Paul and I have begun the process of seeing what his company can do for us for our upcoming deck project. I have recommended him to all of my neighbors. One already has windows installed by Paul Henry's Windows and the other neighbor is getting ready for window installation in November. I know how difficult it is today to find a good and trustowrothy contractor, but I know i can trust Paul Henry's workmanship and professionalism. Plus he and his staff are extremely classy people. Small manufacturer's defects dealt with quickly and efficiently. Installation team was great.An $8,000 project handled with professionalism and effectiveness. I had almost all my windows and doors replaced in my home, since it was built in the early 60's and still had almost all original doors and windows. I shopped around, got at least 3 estimates, and was very impressed with Paul Henry's, due to his professional presentation, how thorough he was in giving the estimate, and the contract process. He was not the cheapest, and not the most expensive either, but he had the windows that I wanted to match my home, and I liked giving my business to a family owned local company. I have not regretted it for a minute- the installation process was fantastic. The crew was on time, professional, cleaned up every day, kept me informed of progress--and trust me, having had other work done by other companies, all those things go a LOOONNNG way!
