We had an identified leak from our upstairs bathroom toilet to the kitchen ceiling. Our insurance company had Paul Davis Restoration come out and start an assessment. We met with David and Paul for the start of the drying, demo, and setting up the barrier. Both David and Marco were very informative and responsive to any questions or concerns regarding the process and damage from leak. David followed up multiple times to make sure that we were available for any quick visits and area measurements. At the completion of the initial demo, David was very informative and reassuring of the upcoming process and next crew to enter the home to complete any work. This company was chosen by our insurance to mitigate water damage in our garage. Do not hire them. They caused us a $425 electrical emergency by plugging their unchecked dehumidifier into an outlet and overloading the circuit, almost starting a house fire. Project Mgr Nico acknowledged their error and said he would speak to upper management. That was the end of communication. Not even a call from owner to make sure we were ok or an apology. When questioned by insurance company, Paul Davis Restoration Temecula stated it was a preexisting condition. We have never had an electrical issue until they stepped onto our property. Once they did what the insurance company paid them for, they had no interest in doing anything else for us, even when we asked them to come back and repair the undamaged drywall they tore out, above what the plumber cut for his repair. I could go on but will sum up our experience as disappointing, frustrating and all around terrible. Do not hire them, they are unethical. read more

Classic bait and swtich. Was purchasing a property and got an estimate for $8k (in writing). Negotiated the deal on the purchase of the home based on the estimate (credited in closing). After close I contacted the company to do the work and they sent over the docs to sign. Went over the documents and realized that the price had increase to $13k (though their representative didn't bother to tell me). I explained that I figured there must be a mistake and provided my original estimate. They refuse to acknowledge their own original estimate as a valid estimate. Paul Davis were contracted to repair a home, occupied by tenants. From day one they were incompetent. The level of communication was atrocious, no contact by the various contractors. It took 7 weeks to repair some drywall, patch and paint and re,carpet. When the carpet was scheduled the installers came 2 days late. Then left the tenant with all the furniture in one room, did not install the carpet and did not return. It was after some input from the property management company that they finally installed the carpet 2 days later. Do not use there clowns if you want your property back in use quickly. read more

Whatever you do. DO NOT HIRE PAUL DAVIS. OVER PROMISE, UNDER DELIVER is their moto. They not only did not have an active Project Manager on our job, they BOTCHED basic work, disgusting paint job, horrible finish work (crowns, base boards and casing) ruined brand new flooring, and the list goes on and on and on. I gave these guys probably a DOZEN chances to make good on the issues we were having, but it was when we were 2 weeks from having to move back in that we found out there was over 1 month of work left (if they were capable of completing work) and 300+ sqft of perfect flooring installed crooked and RUINED that we were forced to terminate them. Jim and Erik came by and acknowledged how TERRIBLE the work was, and that they themselves would have fired themselves if they were in our shoes. They told us they would credit us back for any work that was done wrong and credit us hours for additional repairs, as well as order the new flooring the following week so we could get a new GC in as quickly as possible. They let over a month go by, promised us every 5-6 days that it would be ordered "tomorrow" and STILL have not ordered our flooring and are now playing games with us. They are going through a sale, and now are playing by a different rule book aparently. My family was forced to move out of our 1st temporary apartment, into a second one and has delayed our work by more than 3 months once all is said and done. This is a HORRIBLE recap of what has really happened and I only dont go into more detail for sake of wasting another breath on these people. However I figured I would be doing ALL of their prospective clients a diservice to not warn them of what they are in for. STAY AWAY! NOTE TO THE NEW PROSPECTIVE BUYER OF THIS FRANCHISE. Call me and I will be happy to share what you are inheriting. We have HUNDREDs of pictures and 15 minutes of video along with dozens of exchanged emails full of empty promises. Whoever has decided to string us along and not play nice in the sandbox has just cost yourself a lot more then the $2100 in flooring that ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS ORDER and we would have left nice and silent. I contacted this company on the weekend over some mold concerns and set up an appt for an inspection the following Monday. The guy I spoke with was nice and answered my questions well enough, never got a name though. I texted him some pictures of the mold and he sent me back a quote for the job. Monday came, and "Shane" and "Joe" showed up for the inspection. They arrived when they were supposed to and I sent them upstairs to inspect my bathrooms. Shane came back down and told me the mold we found was typical for a bathroom and nothing they would treat because it was not a large enough area. I was a little confused because the guy I was texting over the weekend quoted me $500-$700 "clean & decontaminate" the bathroom, only to find out they wouldn't even take the job. Shane went through various steps for us to follow to remedy the mold, and said he would email his recommendations to me. There was no charge for the inspection. Later in the afternoon I realized I never gave anyone my email, so I sent a message with my email address via text to the person I was communicating with from the previous weekend. I never heard back from him nor have a I received an email from Shane. I actually didn't get any piece of identifying information from the people who were in my house-no business card, invoice, information packet. And neither of the people who were in my house are in any of the pictures on this yelp page. I'm left confused and concerned, and based on my experience I do not recommend this company. Very very disappointed in this company! We signed with them to repair a leak in my kitchen on June 17th since that time they have worked on my house no more than 2 days a week did such a bad painting job we have to hire someone else. Had to send back our cabinets they rebuilt 2 times! It's been a nightmare and with my house still torn apart they walked off the job! I would never hire this company or recommend them to anyone!! I guess that's what we get for not finding out his contracting license is suspended after we hired them! read more
