Despite our initial optimism, as expressed in my wife's recent review, we still grapple with the same unresolved issue. I will start with the positive about the company. They have a great eye for design. The backyard turned out just as we wanted: very clean and open. Bryce and the team that came out were great. They also gave us a fair price for the work. As my wife pointed out (See Sara Y's post), They cracked our driveway while installing an extension to our front driveway. I reached out several times, and although there was some communication in the beginning, it simply stopped. Sara outlined several other issues in her post. I made some attempts this fall to contact the company. On August 22, I texted Bryce with the attached videos. Bryce promptly texted back and asked me to send the videos to Sebastian, the owner. On October 20th, I sent the videos and several texts to Sebastian, but I am still waiting for a response. I am attaching screenshots of the video. When my wife made the post, Sebastian reached out on Yelp and asked her for a phone number so we could figure this out. That post was made 12 days ago, and we are still waiting to hear from the company. I don't think the company ignores us out of malice; it seems they may not have enough people to handle the demand. I was avoiding hiring a company that changes their price and unfortunately that's what I got with QTC Bruce and Angel. They claimed they have worked Rancho Cucamonga and familiar with permits however once I signed they added $5000 for French drain and less than 24 hours later $8000 for harder work because there were boulders. Keep in mind they did come out to the property twice. I had to follow up with Bryce several times to get a quote, finally it was done but I had to make sure it will be with permits. I paid them $1500 for 1 day (4 hours of work) and some materials. Long story short they hook you in and then change and increase their price. I gave them a last chance to follow through with their word and they declined. Original quote on signed contract $19k, then raised $5k and again $8k. Typical contractors you are warned about. They left me hanging after unpaid $1500 for 1/2 day of work and material BEWARE. read more

I hired QTC for some design ideas regarding a walking path in my back yard and a circular cement path for a future tree to be planted.. Bryce (of QTC) responded to give me some ideas, but in the process, he and his landscaping techs discovered why my yard wasn't draining well. Their investigation revealed that my drains were improved installed by the previous landscaper. This issue actually took priority over the walkway, due to the standing water beginning to stagnate. For a reasonable price, QTC placed new drains in more strategic locations and the problem was solved. Then on to the walkway, where I was provided with an upfront cost and an invoice. The techs completed the project in a timely manner, and I'm impressed with their work ethic, as it was in excess of 100° everyday of the project. It's hard to find a good reliable landscaper out here in the Inland Empire, and I'd hire this company again if I get any more ideas. read more

It's been a month and still no solution to fixing the large dark spot on the driveway. There are other smaller dark spots on the patio in front, but they aren't as bad as the eyesore that's on the driveway. I have to keep asking my husband to ask for updates because it feels like we're being ignored and that this issue is on the back burner. Again, nothing against the workers or office staff. Backyard makeover on a budget. We had so much dirt to cover up. Decided to go with half concrete and half grass at first. Then switched to half Cali Gold landscape rocks instead of grass due to the drought and low maintenance. Half artificial turf was not in our budget. We also added concrete to the side of our house. This created a nice path to and from our front yard. Thanks QTC for bringing our design to life, and for being patient with the changes we made along the way. Bryce responded to my husband's texts in a timely manner. Landscaping can get pretty expensive, but QTC offered the best quotes. They did a very good job on a retaining wall and artificial turf in our back yard. I would have given 4 stars except that they never came back to repair the hole they put in our fence while removing vegetation, though they specifically said they would repair it. Other than leaving some rebar, drain pipe, and chunks of concrete for me to cleanup (and something else I won't mention) they were professional and pleasant to work with. I really wish I could recommend them to others in our neighborhood for quality and timely work, but not keeping promises should be a red flag to anyone looking to have work done on or around their home. read more

I had a 310' long 10' wide asphalt driveway torn out, and replaced with a 12' wide cement driveway. The price was reasonable and the driveway came out beautiful. There were a couple of communication problems early in the job. The reason I am still giving 5 star with that considered is because of the way they handled the problem. Angel never complained or pointed fingers when the problem occurred. He took full responsibility for the problem and fixed it at their cost. That means a lot. Just as others have said I tried multiple different surrounding landscape company's in the area I received multiple quotes, some offered me a decent price but with long wait times others wouldn't even return my calls once I was ready to start. I called Sebastian not only did I get a quote But he was willing to start the job within the week. His crew was beyond professional and handled all my concerns and answered any questions I had immediately. He never tried to pinch more money out of me during the project and only asked for 10% to start the job and didn't ask for payment until I was satisfied with a complete job. He stands by his work and even after payment has promised he will come back out and fix up or replace any sod that doesn't set properly or if there's any issues with my plumbing/concrete work.
