As someone who has been caring for my Crepe Myrtle for the past 17 years, I'm pretty particular about how it's trimmed. The tree has simply gotten too tall for me to maintain myself, and I wanted it pruned a very specific way. Reynaldo listened to exactly what I wanted and delivered perfectly. Even this "crazy tree guy" couldn't have been happier with the results! In addition to the Crepe Myrtle, the crew pruned two Queen Palms and three very tall Italian Cypress trees. They worked efficiently, cleaned up thoroughly, and left the property looking fantastic. In fact, if it weren't for the beautifully trimmed trees, you wouldn't even know they had been there. Professional, courteous, skilled, and meticulous. I wouldn't hesitate to use Golden Oaks Tree Care again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-quality tree service. 5 stars all the way!

I was in search of a currently licensed and bonded reliable, reasonably priced, tree trimming…read morecompany to tackle nine (09) trees in our front and backyard that needed a lot of TLC. I started researching on Yelp and read a lot of great reviews for several local companies. But one company stood out just a bit more which I decided to inquire with: Golden Oak Tree Care. At first I used the Yelp messaging to initiate contact with Reynaldo, the owner, but soon switched to text messaging. He was very quick to respond to my inquiries, needs and pricing after I sent (upon his request) photographs of the nine trees that needed attention. We agreed upon a very reasonable price, then set up a date and time for him and his crew to perform the work. My wife was home so she met the two gentleman that work with Reynaldo. They arrived at the designated timeframe and were very cordial and polite according to my wife. They quickly went to our backyard to prep for their trimming. Reynaldo arrived shortly afterwards but before I arrived home from work. Upon arrival I met him and his crew. All three were really cool and answered all of my questions regarding the types of services they do besides tree care and what they do not do. That was really great news for me since I have several more landscaping projects I can request Reynaldo and his crew to help me out with. Reynald inquired with me if I would like my shrubbery trimmed as well. After deciding which shrubs needed attention, he indicated the additional amount to our original agreed upon amount, to which I agreed to and requested he take care of our shrubs. Again, his pricing is very fair and reasonable.

Had Tree Kickers out a couple years ago and they did a great job, so we just had them out again…read morethis week. They did two trees that were next to each other and between our house and the neighbors so it was a bit of a squeeze. They did a great job, topping them off about 8 feet, trimming around the outside of the trees to keep them away from our roof, then thinning them out. I have to say, I'm a lot more comfortable working with a company that uses a truck that has a bucket. We've had several people quote the work, but they intend to use ladders and/or climb the tree. The last thing I want is for someone to have an accident and get seriously injured on the job, even if they're insured (especially this close to the holidays). Anyway - thanks for the great job, Tree Kickers!

Instead of discussing and negotiating, he quickly gets hostile. His girlfriend shows up and starts screaming at us, saying we are trying to rip them off, making threats and claiming to be an attorney. She continued insulting, threatening with litigation, and intimidating for an hour, trying to get us to just pay without meaningful discussion or negotiation. Eventually paid the full price just to get them off my property. Feel like I got taken advantage of and abused. What a nightmare.
