Absolutely horrible experience. Dishonest hustler, with a psycho girlfriend that showed up to make a scene. Soooooo unprofessional. Avoid at all costs. Asked him give a quote on person. Gave thorough walk-through explaining everything I wanted done. He took no notes. Come the day of, he shows up almost an hour late, then at 4:30 says he's done when two areas of the yard that we agreed to do, are not done. Instead of discussing and negotiating, he quickly gets hostile. His girlfriend shows up and starts screaming at us, saying we are trying to rip them off, making threats and claiming to be an attorney. She continued insulting, threatening with litigation, and intimidating for an hour, trying to get us to just pay without meaningful discussion or negotiation. Eventually paid the full price just to get them off my property. Feel like I got taken advantage of and abused. What a nightmare. read more

Had Tree Kickers out a couple years ago and they did a great job, so we just had them out again this week. They did two trees that were next to each other and between our house and the neighbors so it was a bit of a squeeze. They did a great job, topping them off about 8 feet, trimming around the outside of the trees to keep them away from our roof, then thinning them out. I have to say, I'm a lot more comfortable working with a company that uses a truck that has a bucket. We've had several people quote the work, but they intend to use ladders and/or climb the tree. The last thing I want is for someone to have an accident and get seriously injured on the job, even if they're insured (especially this close to the holidays). This is a service that comes out to do one-time cleanup jobs. Regular maintenance is supposed to be handled by other companies, according to the owner. The work they do is awesome, but they do have a bit of a time management problem, being two hours late to show for the estimate, and an hour late to actually do the work. While completing the job, something got kicked up by their equipment and caused the glass panel on my back door to shatter. Without skipping a beat, the owner called a glass company and made arrangements to have it replaced at his expense. If it wasn't for the glass and the timeliness, this would have been a 5 star rating. But you can't be perfect every time, right? read more
