They did a great job on trimming two palms. Very respectful of the surroundings, the trees themselves, and completely cleaned up after. Will be doing business with Marcelino's crew for years to come. read more

These guys were excellent. Prompt in getting us a quote due to insurance deadlines (same day quote) and came within 2 days. They got our property into complete Cal Fire compliance, cleaned up everything perfectly, and their price was very reasonable. read more

Marcelino's 2 sons did the trimming and removal of the Palm and Olive trees in our front yard. They arrived on time, did a great job on the trees, and cleaned up the mess before they left. I would highly recommend this company. read more

This will be my 2nd time using Marcelino's Tree Service. This will also be my 2nd review. Marcelino & his crew are the most qualified, honest, and hard working guys. They work fast, yet are so thorough and always leaves their job immaculate. They are also very reasonably priced. I highly recommend them for your tree trimming & service. They are amazing! read more

Marcelino was honest, professional, and efficient. I am on a limited budget and didn't even know how to prioritize. Thankfully, Marcelino did know how. He trimmed the trees on my property that needed immediate attention, and advised me on future recommended services. It was so good to deal with a true professional that knew what needed to be done now and what could safely be postponed (and some, due to the type of tree, that should wait until fall/winter to attend to). I highly recommend Marcelino's Tree Service. read more

Shout out to Marcelino's Tree Service! They were cutting a neighbors yard above my house so I approached to get a quote to trim down an overgrown tree. They gave me a very good quote but I was surprised at how detailed, efficient and clean they left the area (including going into my neighbors yard to clean). I'm lucky to have found them because my tree was on my honeydew list for a long time. They seemed have all the equipment and manpower to handle big jobs as well. 909-615-1000 read more

Marcelino and his tree service is exceptional. My husband and I cannot say enough good things. He is honest and you can rest assured you will get more than what you pay for. He is meticulous and in my opinion there is no one better. We have used him for years. read more

I have been using Marcelino's Tree service for years. They know how to cut trees unlike other services that just chainsaw , which causes the trees to grow back fast and bushy. Marcelino trims our trees so they still look great and doesn't send the tree into a growth spurt allowing a longer time between services. read more

We have about 100 trees on our ranch and we are really picky about how they look. We had used MANY tree trimmers before finding Marcelino. His work is amazing, he is reasonable and such a great guy to have around. We have used him 2-3 times a year for a couple of years now and we are always very happy with his work. read more

Marcelino was working on a neighbors house and I went down and asked him for a quote when he had a chance. He came right down, took a look, gave a great quote, and told me he would call me tomorrow with a day and time. He called back promptly the next day and we set a day and time. He showed up on the day and even a little bit early. Knowledgeable about our Palms and even conveyed that trimmers who use spikes to go up and down the entire tree will leave spike marks forever. He climbed a ladder as high as he could get and above the trunk and then used the spikes to lock himself in place. The only part of the palms that were spiked were the pieces that were removed as he went. We had asked him to trim 10 trees in our backyard and when he arrived I asked him to trim one more. The trees look amazing. The best part is that you would never know that 11 - 35-foot tall palm trees, had been cleaned up and removed from my yard. He left it in better condition than it was when he arrived. Will continue to use his services for the years to come. I wish I had more photos of them before, but in one photo you can get an idea. The other thing that I really appreciated is that not one palm frown was ever simply dropped to the ground. Most times it was cut, then dropped down to a crew member below. None of our trees or bushes show any signs of this crew being in our backyard. Amazing! read more

Marcelino and his son Alex and other assistants are the best. We used to use Erin's tree service and I remember when they first came. Marcelino pruned our fig tree and thinned out our beautiful oak tree and he did it to perfection. We were so pleased. Erin has retired and he recommended we continue to use Marcelino, who is now in business for himself. He purchased all of Erin's equipment. He and all of his workers are so personable and kind! They're a pleasure to work with. Not only do they know how to trim all the trees, including fruit trees, but they go the extra mile to clean up all the trimmings. Marcelino is familiar with all types of trees and their special needs. It's hard to understand how he can climb an oak tree, do all the trimming from inside, and the tree is perfectly shaped when he's done. I wanted to save a lot of the fallen wood so I could reuse it for hugelkulture, burying it underneath my garden to provide my produce with nutrients for years to come. They were very patient with me and provided all the mulch I needed. They even chopped up a bunch of it in their grinder and put it in a convenient location. The rest disappeared without a trace. Not all tree service companies clean up like this. I couldn't be happier with Marcelino's service. His pricing is fair. We will entrust all of our trimming to him in the future. read more

We have used Marcelino and his crew many times. They are incredibly talented and knowledgeable. They are very safe as well. I love watching them methodically cut down large trees as to not damage any surrounding fences or structures. Marcelino himself knows tons about trees. He will advise you when it is the right time of year to trim certain species as to not hurt the tree. He trims trees perfectly (doesn't just hack off all the branches to leave a bare tree). read more

I hired him to remove a tree and he knew I also needed the stump completely removed. He grinded the stump but could not remove the remaining stump a few feet deep in the ground; couldn't get the grinder that deep. Then was getting ready to fill the hole with the dirt and trunk shavings but I told him not to fill the hole back up since I still needed the stump out. I paid him and have been treating the stump myself. I wasn't happy that he did not complete the whole job I hired him for and texted and left a message asking him at the very least to come back and remove the pile of shavings. (I read that you should discard the shavings and not use them to refill a hole. Something I think he should know). Needless to say that weeks later I still have not received any response. He is a nice guy and they have done other work on my street. But just for the fact that he did not complete the job and wouldn't even respond back I would not recommend or use him again. read more

Not enough superlatives to describe Marcelino's Tree Service. They have been trimming our queen palms, eucalyptus and other smaller trees annually, since it was owned by Erin's Tree Service and Marcellino was one of Erin's staff. Excellent work, fair pricing, trees always look beautiful. They leave the premises cleaner than they found it. One of the crew was even skimming our swimming pool to get some small debris that fell in. Who does that?? Highest rating of a 5 is not high enough. read more

Marcelino is the best! Got back to me within a few hours, came for an estimate that same day, and trimmed our two trees the same weekend. Super friendly and professional, fair price, and got the job done. Definitely recommend! read more

Everything about my experience with Marcelino's was great. My request was responded to in a timely manner, Marcelino came out and gave me a quote that another in the landscape business said was a good price, and he adjusted to my needs as aspects of the project changed. He and his crew did an excellent job. They showed up on time and trimmed 6 trees, from a 10' citrus to a 30' Chinese Elm, and cut 4 smaller trees that were growing where they shouldn't have. The trees look very natural and not at all "hacked." Plus, they cleaned up beautifully. They also left firewood and mulch. I live on a 1/2 acre, so those things are good, but they would have been just as happy to haul it away. I can't recommend this service enough! read more

I couldn't be happier with this tree service. Called him at the beginning of the week to get an estimate to have my one Palm in my backyard cut and trimmed. I thought the estimate was very fair. He was able to come out that Saturday and do the job. He showed up in the morning on time. Got started right away and was done fairly quick with great results! They cleaned the back and left no mess. I will definitely use them again. read more

I called Marcelino for a quote to remove two trees from the front of our property. He was able to come give me a quote within an hour of me calling him. He explained exactly what he was going to do (this is the first time we've had to remove a tree) and gave us an excellent quote. I decided to go with Marcelino because he was on time and professional (the price was a plus but I'm looking for professional over all). He showed up the day of our appointment exactly on time and they did an amazing job! They completely cleaned up the mess and had a great sense of humor when I wanted to watch the trees come down! We were very happy with him and will definitely recommend him to our family and friends! read more

This is the second time I've turned to Marcelino's Tree service for help. And just like before their service, price and work ethic was the best. They arrived onetime and ready to work, they trimmed 3 very tall and messy Palm Trees along with a Pine Tree that was overgrown on to my roof. The palm trees are next to my pool, and they actually had one of their people stand there and net pieces of the palm tree trimmings out of the pool and then thoroughly cleaned the whole area. The trees look great and my yard and pool area is cleaner now than it was before. And most importantly, my dogs loved them! I highly recommend Marcelino's Tree Service and encourage people support their business during this "quarantine time". read more

This was a great experience. I found Marcelino online by contacting his former employer, who retired and sold the business to Marcelino. I called and he came out and gave an estimate. I was impressed with his knowledge, notetaking, friendly demeanor, and straightforwardness. When Marcelino & his guys came over they were prepared with a gameplan and covered it with us. Looking out the window we could see them working feverishly. They seemed like artists painting a picture. My wife & I were extremely impressed. They expertly trimmed & shaved 12+ palm trees in front & back. Every palm looked identical. This was no easy task. I would highly recommend them for any tree service you may need. read more
