I really tried to work with these guys. After having them work for several months, I signed a…read moreone-year contract with the company. This was a terrible mistake. I have no doubt that Brent, the manager, would have done a fine job - if he was doing the gardening. But that is where the complements end. His workers often didn't know what they were doing and the company was paid to clear my entire slope (they cleared half) but did not finish. Unfortunately for me, the did their work early in the morning, when I am not up, or maybe I could have worked more closely with the company's workers. Regardless, I sent pictures and detailed instructions (also including pictures) on exactly what I wanted done to my yard. Time after time for over one year, this company fell short of my expectations. I wish I could say better, but I just cannot. I asked for one bougainvillea to be cut more like a tree and I supplied pictures, but that didn't get done - at all. They didn't even try. Another bougainvillea needed to be pulled, something I asked to be done, but there just seems to be a disconnect between the manager and the employees, either in skill or communication.

They removed the gravel first, then installed new irrigation, moved about 1000 rocks, installed garden bed bordering, trimmed my overgrown trees and installed sod and 3 new trees. It looks amazing. I had a large Canary Palm that was planted too close to our fence line by the original home owner…read more As beautiful as this Palm was, it was causing havoc on all my irrigation, landscape and neighbor's fence. This tree was also to large and inaccessible to relocate. I called Andrew Armstrong on a Wednesday afternoon and he and his crew had my tree completely out in less than 24 hours. I noticed how they took the time to continuously clean/blow down the yard and contain the debris. His crew even skimmed my pool to ensure they left my yard spotless. It was seriously like they were never there. When it came time to grind down the massive stump they put in the extra effort to ensure they got nearly all of the rootball. Armstrong Tree Service was reasonably priced and Andrew was extremely easy to work with. I would highly recommend them for any tree removals.

100/10 experience. Great quality at the best value and they really take care of you!…read more My husband and I just moved to Elsinore from Long Beach and are first time home owners. Upon moving into our house, we realized we wanted to add turf to our backyard as it was covered in sand and weeds. After having a few people come by to give us quotes, we were introduced to Mike. Mike was incredibly knowledgeable. He helped us understand exactly what each step of the process would be, the difference in the colors and styles, and what would be the most cost effective. He even helped us understand our irrigation and offered to build us a pergola down the line. He was just so much more friendly and different than the other people who stopped by to give us quotes. Those other people felt like they didn't really want to do a lot of work and quoted us well above what Homeowner did. Once we signed, they were prompt to schedule us and within about 3 days we had a brand new yard, fixed irrigation, and even repurposed some of the rocks in our front yard and planted some succulents for me that I had been putting off at no extra charge! His team was so sweet, they were very clean and considerate. At the end of the process Mike stopped by twice to really make sure everything was exactly right. it looks and feels so natural and our yard is so beautiful now! BEST experience ever. Thank you homeowner turf, I will recommend you guys to everyone I know looking for the perfect family friendly yard!!!

When your man on the cherry picker started removing palm fronds he dropped two on my gazebo roof and they busted through. I yelled at the trimmer and he was careful after that. I went next door to talk to the foreman, and one of the workers said he would stop by and talk to me. Later the guy from the cherry picker came over and used a blower to clean my patio deck. But all your trucks along with your foreman left and did not talk to me. I sent you an email telling you all about this on Friday evening, Sept 6th. It is now Wednesday, Sept. 11th and no one has contacted me. I told you the damage in on the inside of the gazebo next to the fence. and to replace the two damaged panels all the panels would have to be removed to get to them.
