Incredible scratch Italian cooking! I've yet to find a better Eggplant Parm on the planet.

My wife and I stopped here on our way home from a show at xfinity center the night before, My wife asked what i wanted so I said italian and asked siri "find the best italian restaurant"and patty b's came up first, now both of us are very happy that we found this place. The Food Is Awesome!! I had the scampi it was great cooked to perfection my wife had chicken/broccoli alfredo she said it was one of the best shes had which to me says a lot because She makes the best alfredo ever. We had the Alfredo, Carbonara, a side of rissotto (it sounded so good!) a bottle of wine, and a slice of blueberry cheesecake to share. The price was reasonable, just under $80 all together. The food really was excellent. I usually roll my eyes when people say the serving size is big. I can always finish my meal. It really was this time. I think we had a pound of pasta each. We saved some leftovers and kept room for the dessert. I'm glad we did. It really was likely the best I have ever had. The service was very good and welcoming. We were given water on arrival and the right amount of attention so we felt she was attentive without being there too often. It was Tuesday, so a Friday may be more hectic. Excellent choice to make when you are looking for Excellent Italian food. Food inconsistently delicious. Staff is attentive, helpful and the setvice was quick. Always a favorite of mine when I want Italian that is "Top Notch"! The food is amazing, with huge portions, and prices won't break the bank. You certainly get your money's worth! Wow, what a shame that a place with decent (not fantastic, But good enough) food can be ruined by a staff that is clearly phoning it in. We put in for a reservation, arrived somewhat early (we had kids and a much older woman with us, what're you going to do). We were rudely told we were early and a table wouldn't be ready until 7pm. Ok Tex, no need to come out guns blazing. 7pm rolls around and we watched about 5 tables get seated ahead of us (walk ins). Then at 7:15pm, we asked if they would at least give us a chair for the 90 year old family member with us. Not sure why it took 45 mins for them to get it together. Another 20 mins later, we were sat. Was it worth the wait? Nope. The waitress clearly had an axe to grind with our table. The food was so so. No one made any apologies for the extra half hour past our reservation. Generally a pretty poor experience. read more

Food was absolutely outstanding. When I think of comfort Italian food, I will always thinks of this place. The baked rigatoni I had was memorable, and I will not get anything else there. The chicken parm was pretty good, however did not stand out from most others. Staff did a good job due to the chaos of a Friday night, and it got fairly loud. Patty Bs AMAZING ! I literally crave the food when I haven't been in awhile ! I love it! They've got a staple menu but I love going to find out what unique and amazing specials they have as they are So wide In variety and change ! The desserts well they speak for themselves the cakes remind me of my favorite Disney movie Pollyanna huge three layer cakes of all types ! The staff is amazing ! We celebrated a very special family event on Friday and asked Patty to prepare the food. It was outstanding, and she went out of her way to accommodate us. Patty B's delivers (in particular) excellent pasta, baked & broiled haddock and a good selection of winer and beer. You will see a great selection of deserts as soon as you walk in the door. Bring your appetite. The prices are reasonable, especially considering that the portions are very generous and the waitstaff will be pleased to give you a take-home box for whatever you can't finish. How come no place in New Hampshire can cook Italian. Sauce is watery wouldn't even stick to the pasta. The so-called sausages had no seasoning and no flavor at all. Tired of no ethnic food in the state. The only thing that seems to be a food category within the state is seafood. I have to start out by saying that the hostesses are phenomenal. I see them multitasking every time I come in, answering guest questions and the phone and maintaining a great professional demeanor. They seem happy to help, and help they do. We are often able to get a reservation short notice which is nice, we like the idea of eating outside on the porch but we haven't done so yet. The servers have been excellent as well, one server even got us a sample of bolognese sauce to make sure we would like it. The portions are phenomenal, most dishes can actually be shared. But where is the fun in that, I'm working my way through the menu with my partner LOL. The food is excellent, I did enjoy the baked Bolognese. It was served extra hot, and it tasted delicious. I wasn't looking for something super authentic from a local restaurant but I think I found it. We will make this place one of our regulars to visit! read more

We love Patty's! Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere. Awesome addition to Dover. The new location (not so new anymore) is a huge improvement and much more suitable for the restaurant. We had the special white peach sangria the other night which was to die for! As usual, chicken parmigiana and some cannoli with chocolate chips to bring home! Patty herself is an angel! Always out on the floor walking around checking on tables, she noticed a baby crying and she walked right over to the table, spoke with the parent's to ask permission and then picked the baby up and started walking her so the parents could eat. Love this place! Went once when they were in the old location, and the service and food were excellent. Now with the new location, this has become an immediate local favorite. The waitstaff is friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere is relaxed and casual. Definitely great for the family or for a date night. read more

Phenomenal meal here tonight! Service on point also. Husband had the carbonara and I had the eggplant parm---off the charts amazing. Marinara sauce was incredibly fresh and flavorful. I had the beet salad which was an ok portion size and was $15.. then ordered another special baked stuffed haddock in which was over cooked and dry with slightly burtned topping. $27. The other meal we order was the eggplant parmigiana was part of the every day selection. Whic was fair but overly topped with melted cheese. This is our first visit to Patty B's. A true gem. We were served by Robin who was the greatest. The food was extremely tasty and a large portion and the prices were reasonable. Went for dinner with my work group after a day of meetings at Wentworth Douglas hospital. The service was prompt and friendly. The menu offered a lot of choices. The food was excellent. I had the homemade fettuccine with meatballs and sausage. Portion was large and I finished it all. I rented the Beehive Function Room at Patty B's for an engagement party this past weekend. It could not have been more perfect! All of the guests raved about the food. Antipasto, bruschetta, Homemade fettuccini with marinara, baked haddock, chicken marsala with zucchini, salad, garlic bread, and a delicious variety of deserts. Every bite was hot and delicious! The really significant part of our experience were the 2 staff people who worked the room. They could not assist us enough! Helped us connect to the Bluetooth sound system, made wonderful cocktails, served us family style when the buffet table got covered with gifts, packed up the leftovers for guests to take home, were always available for anyone who needed anything! I have a lot of experience with private events and I have never experience such service. They were fabulous! read more

"I had the Italian sausage sub which was very good and my wife had the chicken salad sandwich which was also very good but, unfortunately, was served on a roll rather than bread as she wanted. My wife told our server that it was not a problem but she mentioned it to the owner and Patty B immediately came to our table and wanted to make it right. My wife reiterated her OK with the existing order but Patty wasn't going to take no for an answer. She came back with a chicken salad "sandwich", on bread, in a take-out container and told my wife to have it for lunch the next day. Super nice person who wants to satisfy her customers. Food wasn't bad but got charged $100 for a $40 lunch. Server charged another tables meal to my card. A week later, three phone calls and going back in person still didn't get the money back. Called back after first attempt to say they charged again, but told that couldn't be. It was. No offer of accommodation for the hassle and time has been made. Poor management! Tried Patty B's for the first time the other night. Initially did not get a welcoming feel, they were busy but I did expect a "Hi, we will be right with you" instead of feeling like I was invisible. Once seated I ordered an Italian Margarita, I personally was not a huge fan but have known to be picky so not a big deal and I did drink the whole thing. Disclaimer: I've only been here for large party events, and so that's what this review reflects. Each time I've been here, our large party (20+ people) has been extremely happy. Obviously, we had reservations, and didn't have to wait to be seated when we arrived. Some of us got there early and enjoyed a beverage on the front porch- the weather was beautiful on each of my visits- which was just lovely. The servers have always been friendly and attentive. Some unique dietary needs (severe allergies) were happily accommodated with a smile. The portions are huge! Not one person was able to finish their food; leftovers the next night were quite tasty! There were also a variety of adult beverages- from a nice beer and wine selection to a delicious, unique seasonal mixed drink menu. Took my daughter here today for her birthday (mommy-daughter time) for lunch, she had the pasta with chicken and broccoli in a vodka sauce; a huge bowl of deliciousness was brought to her! I had the chicken Marsala over risotto with zucchini and summer squash, OMG so excellent! Huge portions, we both walked away with a full serving (practically) as leftovers. Was here with a friend last Wednesday for lunch - such a great little space! We split a bruschetta and then I got the caprese salad and my friend got the seared romaine salad - both were great. And of course we shared a bottle of wine - a nice Chardonnay that was reasonably priced. Our server was a sweetheart as well so great food, nice space and a sweet server makes for a great afternoon stop.
