Don't do Subaru service. Go see Patti!
    Andie

Patti and her team took such good care of me. Subaru in Walnut Creak want to soak me for $4000. Not needed. Patti and team diagnosed and got it down to root cause: jacked up wheel covers. Cost me $400. Can't make this up. I'm a customer for life. Love you Patti and team!!

I don't usually write reviews, but Joe's Tires has truly earned one…read more From day one, Tito has gone above and beyond to make sure both my car and I are taken care of. Whether it's helping me find the best deal, explaining my options, answering my endless questions, or making sure I'm getting quality parts at a fair price, he's always been honest, patient, and transparent. At no point have I ever felt pressured into buying something I didn't need. Instead, he's always helped me make the decision that was best for my budget and long-term goals. Abraham is the mechanic who's worked on my car, and his workmanship has been outstanding. He installed my CarPlay system flawlessly, and every job he's done has been done with care and attention to detail. It's obvious he takes pride in his work, and that gives me confidence every time I leave the shop. Carlos has always been welcoming and professional at the front desk, making every visit smooth and enjoyable. Leo has also been incredibly kind and helpful. He's always willing to lend a hand, and on one occasion he even gave me a ride to work while my car was being worked on. Those small acts of kindness say a lot about the kind of people they are. One thing I really appreciate about Joe's Tires is their honesty. I've seen reviews criticizing pricing, but from my experience, they've always been upfront with me. Different parts, brands, and repairs naturally come with different costs, and they've consistently taken the time to explain my options so I can decide what works best for me. I've never felt misled; only well-informed. What really sets this shop apart is the way they treat their customers. Every visit has been met with professionalism, respect, and genuine hospitality. You can tell they care about building long-term trust, not just making a sale. I trust Joe's Tires with my Honda Civic, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for honest people, quality workmanship, and outstanding customer service. Thank you to Tito, Abraham, Carlos, Leo, and the entire Joe's Tires team. I truly appreciate everything you've done for me.

I have been using Joe's Tires for 20 years. A few years ago, the company saved me $500. The problem…read morewith AWD cars is that the tires cannot have a certain amount of tread difference on them. I got a tire puncture and took it to O's Tires, which was two blocks from my home. They examined the puncture and said it could not be repaired because it was less than one inch from the edge. They wanted me to buy four new tires. The tires on the car had about 12,000 miles wear. I decided to go to Joe's Tires for a second opinion. They measured the tread and said I had to replace only the punctured tire. For you readers who have AWD cars, don't buy the expensive 60K - 80K tires because if you get a puncture that cannot be repaired, you will have to buy all new tires.

Heard a clicking noise on 880, turns out I had a giant bolt and washer in my rear…read more Big O was the first place that popped up, when I went in, I asked if they could plug a tire, and they corrected me that they patch tires not plug tires. Well worth the price, it was quick and seamless, in and out under 30 minutes.

I've generally had good experiences at this Big O with one annoying exception I'll outline below…read more I got new tires not that long ago and had an oil change while I was at it. My car is a bit of a pain in the ass to change the oil on so I can't actually go to like jiffy lube or oil changers or any place like that. I need a tech that's at least one step up from that level. Don't need to be a full-on Master mechanic or anything but it's not as simple as a regular old Honda or Toyota or whatever. You actually have to take some parts off of the car to get to the filter. Annoying, I know. It's why I don't do the changes myself. It legit takes at least 30 to 45 minutes of actual wrench time. Anyway, at some point after I got my tires replaced I noticed a slow leak in one of them. Checked the tire, no nails or screws or anything in it. I was due for an oil change anyway so I'll go back to Big O for that and have them check the tire while they're at it. Now, I know it's leaking because I've had to put air in it several times. When I pick up my car I asked him if they were able to fix the leak he says looks at the notes the tech left and says they took the wheel off and dunked it and couldn't find any leak. I was annoyed but also in a hurry so I just took my car in went. I stopped back on two other different occasions to have them fix that leak and they could never confirm that it was leaking . They didn't have any suggestions for me or anything. I ended up getting a valve core tool and replacing the valve core which slowed down the leak but didn't solve it. While I was doing that I noticed that it appeared to be leaking worse when I touched the valve stem, like I could hear the air hissing out, so I went and had that replaced (somewhere else). Now the tire is fine and I'm annoyed with Big O. A tire shop should have been able to diagnose that even if it wasn't bubbling when it was underwater. It's simply should have been the next thing that they checked. I wish I had thought to do so but I'm not a tire tech or anything. Still rounding up to three stars because generally speaking I've been happy with the service that I've received there and the guy's behind the counter are always nice and usually helpful.

1 star only...because 0 isn't an option…read more I booked an 11:00 a.m. appointment for an oil change in advance. I wasn't a walk-in. When I dropped off my car, I was told it would be ready around 12:30-1:00 p.m. and that I'd receive a call when it was done. I decided to stick around the area. At 1:00 p.m., after waiting two hours, I walked back to check on the status and found that they hadn't even started working on my car. When I told them I was leaving, the employee suddenly asked if I could wait another 10-15 minutes because he could "start it now". So frustrating. My scheduled appointment meant absolutely nothing until I complained and I was not interested in a rushed oil change... If your business can't honor appointment times, don't offer appointments. Respect your customers' time. I would not recommend taking your business here. I certainly won't be back.
