We have stored our motor home here for a number of years and rate this place high. The grounds are always kept neat, there is great security and the owner has always been accommodating and helpful. The facility is newly built and maintained very well by the Patterson family. From the very beginning, throughout my stay, and even moving my belongings out of the facility the customer service was top notch. I was renting a storage unit in Monroe while my home was being built in Waxhaw. I found Patterson's Self Storage about six months later and immediately vacated the unit in Monroe and moved my belongings to Patterson's SS. You can truly tell the difference between a large Corporate Storage Company and a small family business on every level. I would pick Patterson's for the customer service, professionalism, quality of the facility and if that is not important to you . . . they were even cheaper than their Corporate competitors. We rented storage units, both climate controlled and non-climate controlled, from Patterson's self storage while transitioning between homes. The units and entire property are very clean and well maintained. I also appreciated that the property has a security fence as well as security measures in the buildings. Patterson's Is a safe, secure facility. As you approach the entrance you will notice it's clean and tidy. A new and clean lock up await you. There were time we needed to come after dark and the area was well lite. The security cameras are very visible for your security and protection. The administrators are friendly and helpful. At one point the last minute we found ourselves short on space and Mr Patterson was very accommodating and was able to give us another lock up immediately, as we had movers waiting to unload. My family has moved many times and have had Experience with many lock-up companies, and this excels beyond what we were expecting. read more
