The print-out said I needed a new oil pressure sending unit and also recommended replacing the intake manifold gasket. It was not a cheap fix. Being new to the area, I had no idea where to go. I researched it and discovered that Texas Auto Care had the best reviews by far. I called and spoke with James, the owner and mechanic. He gave me a quote of nearly $500. I dropped my car off and when he called to say the car was ready, he advised me there would be no charge as he felt there had been a glitch in the system when my oil was changed the day before. I would highly recommend Texas Auto Care. It would have been so easy for them to have done the job and I never would have known! I can't tell you how thankful I am that I found James and Jessica. Their honesty is overwhelming and so appreciated!

They accept no responsibility and put the same temporary drain plug back in it. The Big 5 service center on E. Marshall Ave. was superb on fixing the situation. They said clearly the other service center was at fault. They replaced the old drain plug with the right one and said to bring it back if anything else takes place. I still give the Loop 281 store a 1 because they are no longer recommended by me. The E. Marshall Ave. one definitely is!

Also had a tv with all access to any streaming services & WiFi so I could work while waiting. The staff was very kind & professional and my car drove so much smoother after I left! Went back for inspection the next day and told them it was fixed and when could they get to it. The guy pulled out some paperwork and slapped on the desk replying "I have all these in front of you." A simple " It will be a while ,we are busy would have suffice." I got inspected elsewhere. Then my daughter bought tires there and her truck started shaking. I told her to take it to see if one was bad or if a weight may have came off. They simply looked at thee tires visually and said " for 80 dollars we can drive it." So she just left. We will take our stuff somewhere else with better service. When I sold tires we would always give free rotations , balance etc. I guess buying tires here is like buying used tires.
