I had a hankering for hot and greasy last night & Patsy D'Amore's Pizza fit the bill. If you're at Farmer's Market, you'll find them next to the donut shop, on the farthest east end of the shops. When they first opened in 1949, their 'cuts' were 20 cents! Now, you'll pay about $6 more than that for a slice of their pizza but any place being open that long is just wild! It is legend that Patsy and his brother brought pizza to Los Angeles - they had a shop together opened in 1939 prior to Patsy splitting off with this solo shop. There's a bit of LA Food History for y'all! When you look at this shop, you surely will just think it's a random pie shop, but they have a rich history! Okay now all that aside, the pizza here is pretty mid. Service could be stepped up with a smile when dealing with tourists so they end up loving our city, but hey - I don't need it. Pizza sits out so it's instantly ready and is truly a cheap and satisfying meal. When I want something cheap, quick and easy, I can always count on Patsy D'Amore's when at Farmer's Market!

Damn, I paid $14 bucks for this and my pizza sat there for a minute. Forgetboutit! 2/10. The service was great the ambiance is up for debate since it's the grand central market. Don't recommend it!

The most rude 0 customer service OWNER!!!! first and last time ever buying anything at this place. when asking about the items they the Lady helping us was extremely rude. She did not wash her hands, had no gloves on , and was also not wearing a hair net. she was very arrogant. She said she was the owner. Never buying anything here bad experience.

This spot has quickly become one of my absolute favorite places for pizza. From the very first bite, you can tell they put real care into every detail. The sauce is outstanding--it has that perfect balance of sweetness and acidity, rich but never overwhelming, and it ties all the flavors together beautifully. Our favorite pie is the pepperoni with fresh basil. The pepperoni has just the right amount of crisp and spice, while the basil adds a refreshing, aromatic finish that makes each slice feel bright and balanced. The crust deserves its own mention too: it's thin, airy, and has that slight char from the wood-fired oven, giving it a smoky note that complements the toppings without being bitter. You get that crunch on the outside with a soft, chewy center--exactly how great pizza should be. Every time we come here, the consistency is spot on. The flavors are layered, the ingredients feel fresh, and the balance between sauce, cheese, and toppings makes it impossible to stop at just one slice. For anyone who loves a true wood-fired pizza experience, this place is a must.

The service is not good. The girl with the green hair is so rude and she gave us the wrong food that we didn't order and she's not only unapologetic but also argumentative. Rudest and most unfriendliest service ever.

Great pizza, the dough is fluffy and chewy. Tomatoes were fresh and the slice was very large. Cashier was friendly and service was fast, they warm up the pizza for you first. Surrounding area is a bit loud and busy, but I recommend if you're looking for a quick bite while at The Farmer's Market

Made the trip from the Westside cause we heard good things about this place. Supposed to be historical . Well sure it's historical but that doesn't mean the pizza is good. So a bunch of famous people have been there. And sure the originators were from NYC. This pizza pales in comparison to many of the NY style places that have popped up in LA. Patsys wont even make it into my top 15. Also if you ask for garlic or pepper they put it in a little bag . And they are very stingy about the amount they give you. Just let people sprinkle their own crushed pepper and it will save time and money on those stupid little bags. I just spent 25 dollars on a pie and you are gonna be cheap on the crushed pepper?

$11 for a slice of cheese pizza and a water is outrageous. Nothing special about the service.

Literally the best pizza and salad ever love this place we come here at least once a week!!!

Gluten free cheese pizza!
Dont Worry A.

I had a classic cheese pizza on the gluten free rice flower bread and I must say, SPECTACULAR Im very picky when it comes down to gluten free pizzas since I like my breads doughy and overall more of a "full" texture but this pizza really hit the spot. The cashier was really really sweet although I forgot to catch her name The pizza is roughly small but so worth it if eating just alone (my friend and i had 3 slices and were full). I payed around $18 dollars for my meal and was very content, were 100% coming back!! Only downside was that they didn't sell ranch on the side other than that, YUM

It is located on the east end inside the Old Farmer's Market (on The Grove side). The market is like a giant food court with a few other shops sprinkled in between. The design and appearance of this pizza spot make it seem finer than it is. The signage and colors are excellent right down to the font type used. They also have a nice open oven with a beautiful eye-catching flame. The pizza served whole or by the slice is good for what it is and where you are. It's fresh, satisfying, and gets an A-okay. I love pizza so it's great for a quick bite to eat while window shopping. The area especially on the weekends is usually very crowded with people eating all the types of food offered in the maze of booths. There are some chairs and tables just opposite the ordering counter or if full, you can walk and find a seat close by. Service while ordering is fine and friendly.

Best New York style pizza in the area. They won't allow tipping on credit card, so make sure you bring a few green backs

Really bad. Don't go near this place. The gluten free crust burned , hardly any cheese and the sausage was terrible.

The Caesar salad was probably one of the best Caesar salads I've had. It was light, crisp, and refreshing without feeling overly heavy. We also had the crudo, which was excellent, and the burrata with tomatoes and crispy bread -- so simple but so good. Everyone at the table was loving it. But the pizzas were definitely a highlight for me. I love the square shape and that thick, crispy dough. And the chili oil they give you on the side is SO good. Such a great little touch and definitely something I kept going back to. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a really nice patio and a lovely indoor space. The staff was friendly, they have a great wine list, and we had a delicious Blanc de Blancs sparkling that paired perfectly with dinner. Overall, De La Nonna is just a great restaurant for a relaxed dinner with good food, good wine, and good company. I'm glad I got to come back because I definitely appreciated it even more this time around.

The dough was extremely soft and had a texture more like sliced bread than a properly baked pizza crust. The service was also questionable. The cashier didn't seem familiar with the menu and was trying to handle three different things at once, which made the whole ordering process feel disorganized. Overall, the atmosphere has potential, but the food and service didn't live up to it.

They were all really good, but the Saint Barb stood out to me. What really made the night, though, was our server, Jayson. He was super friendly, attentive, and went out of his way to accommodate our friend who's vegan. He really made the whole experience that much better. Great food, great service, and an awesome night overall. Can't wait to go back! Just a heads-up: it's Echo Park/Silver Lake, so parking can be tough, as expected. You'll find a spot.

Servers were also very friendly and the interior is cozy and clean. Parking is street parking, good luck. We arrived 5:15pm on a Saturday (15 min after opening) and we didn't get reservations so we had to wait one hour to dine in. We could have gotten it to-go, but there's only 1.5 tables outside where you can stand and eat in front of all the people waiting. Even after getting seated and ordering, it still took a while for the food to arrive. Seating is tight inside and my partner & I were seated at a 4 seat table next to two women, so we couldn't help but listen to their entire conversation about going to therapy & problems with their moms. The princess cake is good but I'm not sure what the hype is. I don't think it's worth $15... I would just stick to the pizza if I come back. I do have to say the pizza is very greasy, so much that it did end up hurting my stomach, but I still enjoyed each bite.

One of the few things that didn't go wrong was finding this spot. The gentleman who was making the pizza (I'm sorry, I didn't get his name, which was rude of me) was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, he treated the other customers with dignity and familiarity, let my partner take video of him doing his dough flipping and was just genuinely pleasant. And then there's the pizza. Holy heck was it good. You know what? Good isn't even close. It was perfect. It was only a basic pepperoni, but what we got for our money was insane. It was prepared with care, baked perfectly, was absolutely HUGE, the cheese and pepperoni were perfectly distributed and the crust was just the right balance; not too thin, not too thick. And the flavor...get out of here. Just awesome. The pepperoni had the right amount of kick, the sauce was both sweet and tangy with a kick of black pepper, the cheese had a wonderfully salty character, but remained succulent. It was absolutely delightful. If you're in the area and looking for good pizza you will not be disappointed if you visit this shop.
