Zero flop
Victor M.

Serving the valley since 1997, this family-owned pizzeria is known for its New York-style thin crust pizza, wings, and my favorite place for meatball subs. They have a daily special for 2 slices and a drink for $7.50, but today I just stopped for a slice of sausage. Pat's pizza is perfectly thin with a good undercarriage and zero flop; you can taste the quality mozzarella and tangy sauce--a perfect New York slice. They are always busy, another good sign. Do yourself a favor and give them a try.

Tried a slice of pizza and an order of stuffed shells. Upon entering this place, there was a seafood smell which doesn't make sense. Also, when you start putting tape over prices, it just looks sloppy. Food was not good. The slice had a miserable crackerish crust, while the shells hDca cold gob of ricotta inside some undercooked shells. Plus it had no mozzarella cheese baked on top.

Loved this little place! Basic offerings, really nothing truly fancy but EVERYTHING was delicious! All ingredients were fresh and everything tasted like it was made from scratch. Items, that in a lesser restaurant, might have been frozen (and tasted as such) were clearly hand made. This place will definitely stay on our Phoenix list for future trips.

I'm not sure what the Plus in Pats Pizza is referring to but I enjoyed my slice of cheese pizza mid day. I was in and out within 5 minutes, which is the way grabbing a slice of pizza should be. I'd definitely Come back for a quick slice again.

Dishonest business and will not come back. We ordered a speciality pizza. It is not a large one and it did not come with 6 ingredients. It costs 25 dollar.

2 slice and drink deal($5.50)with Italian sausage and pepperoni add ons($8.50 total with tax).

Pats is a nice neighborhood pizza place in a cute little shopping center. Service was good. I had 3 large slices and a drink for a reasonable price. It's small so take out or delivery is a better option.

And, there are other similar places that were closer and for years offered great food. However, the two other Jewish deli spots have really gone downhill and Scott's just keeps on delivering great food, hearty portions and fast, awesome service. My corned beef sandwich was ridiculously large and, most importantly, the meat was lean and delicious. $18 bucks for a sandwich is not super cheap, but I had a hard time eating one half because of the portion size. So, my wife became the beneficiary of the other half. Definitely returning soon!

The menu is massive with all day breakfast and lunch, and if I lived closer, I would absolutely have made this a local spot to frequent for a taste of home. Plus they have several vegetarian items on the menu and even a vegan breakfast dish! We weren't allowed to dine in, so we took our order to go & ate in the car. I got the veggie reuben & my man got the number 3 (turkey sub). I also ordered 2 knishes (1 spinach & 1 plain) and a black & white cookie. The reuben was scrumptious with the buttery crisp toasted rye bread and packed with veggies. The pickles on the side were not as crisp as I would have liked but still good. The turkey sandwich was not piled high as expected but it was still a good amount of turkey with some cheese & toppings. It was so filling he could only eat half & saved the rest for later. The bread was plain white sub roll and was soft and chewy. No complaints on the sub and he enjoyed it. The knish didn't look like the ones I grew up eating, but these were homemade and way better than the square patty style from the hot dog carts in the city. They were packed with filling and had a thin crust layer around (definitely needed to eat with fork). The spinach was spread throughout & the combo with potato was even. Love that the black & white cookie was homemade! These are my favorite cookies & I always have to get one when I go back home to visit. These were different from the bakery ones I usually get (this icing was soft rather than hard shell type), but it was still delicious! If you have time to stop by before they close end of the month, I recommend you stop by, just check the shop hours and come way before closing time!

One thing I really appreciate is how convenient they make everything. From the water dispensers to the utensils, condiments, and even to-go boxes, everything is set out and easy to grab. I also love the counter-style ordering because the food always comes out quickly, while you can still sit down and enjoy the space without feeling rushed. The outdoor seating is probably my favorite part. The entire property has such a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere and feels like somewhere you actually want to spend time rather than just grab a meal and leave. There are also so many unique gifts to browse while you're there, which makes the whole experience even better. Between Luci's, the ice cream parlor, the tavern, the shops, and all of the outdoor space, there's so much in one place. It's also a great setup for events or getting a group together. Amazing food, beautiful atmosphere, great drinks, and so much to do. Definitely one of those places I'm always happy to come back to!

CHILAQUILES UNFORTUNATELY WERE A MISS!…read more I will preface this by saying everything else was very good, so I will come again and update my review at that time. I came here for a breakfast date with a friend. They have a decent size parking lot. Upon entering, there is a great outdoor space with tons of tables, many with shade. Your order at a counter inside. I got Chilaquiles and a matcha, and my friend got a burger. Unfortunately my chilaquiles were the worse I've ever had! It seemed like store bought chips with sauce thrown on top, not fried in sauce at all. And the menu describes it as having pulled pork but these were chunks of meat. The provolone on top was a slice melted, no shredded cheese. It just didn't hit. My Mexican friend said the sauce wasn't very good either, I thought it was okay. I didn't even eat half of my meal. I will say, his burger was very delicious. Super juicy, and fries were cooked well. I thoroughly enjoyed my matcha as well. The chilaquiles were just so bad that I can't give a higher rating at this time. Since the burger was so good, I'd love to see what the other dishes taste like.

Chloe Williams is the reason I'll be coming back to MELT!…read more Walked in to some bomb-ass Justin Timberlake playing, so the vibes were already immaculate. I'm a pretty picky eater and only allow myself one cheat meal a week, so choosing where to spend it is a serious decision. MELT happened to be open, and Chloe convinced me to give the chicken a shot. I'm glad I listened because it was genuinely really good! My only suggestion would be swapping the canola oil for olive oil, but other than that, no complaints. Now, the REAL winner was the chocolate chip cookie. Absolutely insane. Perfectly cooked, super chocolatey, and easily the highlight of the meal. I personally would've liked a little more dough, but that's just me. My only complaint? $5 for ONE cookie is a little wild when McDonald's will give you practically ten for the same price. The ice cream was just alright, nothing I'd go out of my way for. But here's what really earned this place five stars: Chloe. As the chef manager, she delivered some of the best customer service I've experienced in a while. Genuine personality, incredible charisma, and absolutely none of that forced, fake customer service energy. I asked a ridiculous number of questions, and she never once seemed annoyed or impatient. She actually took the time to help me figure out what I'd enjoy. You can have great food anywhere, but it's the people who make you want to come back. Chloe absolutely nailed that. I'll definitely be returning to try some different menu items, and she's a huge reason why. Give that woman a raise!
