I cannot say enough about how good everything was! Our server was very helpful with recommendations. The restaurant itself is clean and not overly loud like a lot of Mexican restaurants. Since everything else was so good, I ordered a slice of Tres leches cake for dessert to go. It was super pretty and although I only ate one bite, well worth it. This place was recommended by a friend who said they had the best Carne Asada. That is my kids favorite meal so we had to give it a try. They loved it. They said it had a nice charred flavor and very tender. I had the taco salad, which was good and had plenty of toppings to make it exciting. It also had a lot of meat so it felt like a full meal. My husband had the Menudo and he devoured it. Highly recommend. Another kid had the street tacos, and although he saw a burrito, walked by that he wished he ordered, he still loved his tacos. We had to drive from the north side of the city to the South Hill to get to this location, but it was worth it. I believe my family has a new favorite restaurant to get delicious Mexican food. The restaurant is small, but that added to the charm. And many tables were full, which means the locals also enjoy this place. Bonus fact: they have different types of salsa for your chips. Was there last night to celebrate my friend's birthday. It was the best chicken fajita dish that I've ever ordered from any Mexican places. Rebecca our waitress. She was super nice and knowledgeable. BAD ... BAD ....BAD!! We drove from Kennewick to the Trader Joe's next door. I looked on Yelp and saw good reviews for Patrons and chicken fajitas. We ordered and waited awhile. We were the only people in the restaurant (should have been our first clue!) The server brought steak fajitas, not chicken! To top that, 9o% onions & peppers. The server didn't really seem to care, offered to change it, but everything else would have gotten cold for us! We left 90% of it on the platter and left. AVOID THIS PLACE. THE TACO BELL ACROSS THE STTEET WOULD HAVE BEEN 100 TIMES BETTER! My husband 100% agrees with me! I'm glad to see this spot has opened back up again and is still a great little Mexican restaurant. We dropped in to place an order to go. What we noticed first off was how clean and vibrant the space was and staff seemed very happy and were very welcoming and friendly. We had a large quesadilla that my husband and I split. Amazing! Perfectly grilled with caramelized onions, grilled chicken, pepper, and yummy cheese. There was also a great slaw on the side that went with it. And, of course, we had to get the chips and salsa! I rarely write reviews but Patron just gave me the best breakfast burrito I've had in a longgggg time. When I called this morning to see if they made breakfast burritos, the gentleman working today asked me what kind of burrito I wanted. He said they could make steak, chorizo, and bacon. I ordered an egg, cheese, bacon burrito and holy moly, it was incredible. I picked it up "to go" and ended up eating most of it in my car. The burrito was hot, flavorful, and fresh. Plus the salsa was spicy but flavorful and absolutely delicious. It was perfect. I hear they are about to open a second location on south Regal and the server told me they will have other breakfast items like chilaquiles and huevos rancheros. Just tried Patrón for the first time and they are AMAZING!! Sent my husband for take out, we got the three item combo with a tamale, enchilada and chimichanga. Super fresh flavors, the meat in all three was super tender and very flavorful (not just salt like some places), the masa on the tamale was soft without being soggy or mushy and the tortilla on the chimichanga was thin and crispy (not all hard and chewy). And the frijoles y arroz were delicious! So refreshing to have Mexican that has authentic flavorful and not just salty. Will for sure be our new go to. Doordash delivery...ground beef enchilada very bland with just a touch of red sauce. Rice and refried beans okay. Carnitas burrito had big chunks of bland shredded carnitas meat. I like my carnitas chopped into cubes and slightly charred on the outside. Cheese enchiladas are not an option on the DoorDash menu, but in special instructions, I requested that the ground beef enchilada I picked be changed to a cheese enchilada, but the request was not honored. Do they just not make cheese enchiladas ? Anyway, much better mexican restaurants here in Spokane to enjoy. read more

Wish I could give 4.5 stars. We thoroughly enjoyed this place and it will be our new "go to" Mexican in the s hill. Originally from S Cal we know our Mexican food. The birrea tacos were the best! Highly recommend. Ask for it to be dipped and crisped. So so good! Service was amazing and the ambiance was definitely Mexican. Can't go wrong if you go here. This Mexican restaurant is outstanding. The Chili Colorado is the best in town and I am happy to have a taste test. I am a beef fajita eater, my husband likes the colorado. I might switch it up with the cheese enchiladas, but only rarely. These are the things that we eat. I will always try a bit of his and he will eat the last bit of my fajita skillet food. That changed after the first time I tried the colorado at Patrons. To be fair, their beef fajitas are also delicious. But once I tried the colorado, I never got them again. The first time we got the colorado, I think we came 3 times in one week! We have taken all out of town guest here and any friends that are from across town. The ambiance is like any other Mexican restaurant you have ever been to. They have all different kinds of silverware, and we do get excited when we get the longer forks. (Is that ambiance, I don't know?) They have TV's playing all the time, sound off at least. The spanish music is great - I always want that in a Mexican restaurant. I was looking up when they opened on line and found an article about the owners/chef on the Inlander. It was a great story about using their mother's recipes to open a restaurant. Which must be why the colorado is so much better here. You can really tell they cooked that meat all day. And the flavor! Wow! Service is fine. I don't really go to a Mexican restaurant to have fast service, nor do we need a lot. I've never had a bad server there. We go a lot. Only once did we even wait very long and they were super busy that day. Usually everything is fast. Their chips and salsa are great and they always ask if you want more, which I appreciate. Decided to stop into Patron after reading several great reviews. I am happy to see the location open with a new iteration of a Mexican restaurant. It seems like this location is just tough on restaurants in general. We went for lunch and the staff was nice and welcoming. It is decorated in typical Mexican Spokane style so you probably know what you might be getting. Even though it wasn't busy the food came out hot and they have Mexican beers on tap. It was pretty typical Spokane Mexican fair that I have had. Enchiladas were typical red sauce/ with rice and beans. Good overall for a lunch, but nothing to write home about and can't believe it would be better than California Mexican. I am glad they didn't drop a ton of ice burg lettace on top of all the food. The chips and salsa were good but again pretty standard Mexican Spokane. I have a hard time seeing this place making it in the long term. The staff was nice/ it was clean/ and the food was fresh even if uninspired fair. read more

Mexican food is not my 1st choice but I've had a mad bad hankering for street tacos lately. Ordered over the phone for lunch pick up. They asked if I wanted rice & beans & I said no but they were in the box anyway when I picked up. My meal also came with chips. They got my no onion request right-which rarely happens anymore. Incredible, simply incredible. A bunch of my friends and I get together about once a month and we try new restaurant in Coeur d'Alene or Spokane. We chose Patron for January. Could not have made a better choice. We reached out to Martin a couple of weeks weeks in advance, and he was more than willing to accommodate us. The number of guests went from about 12 to over 20 and I kept him informed, and he never blinked just said that's fine and made it work. Service was incredible! Servers were friendly and efficient. Not an easy thing to do when you have 20+ people in one group. The orders were taken efficiently as well, and the checks were separated, upon request with no issue Now the food: some of the best Mexican cuisine I've ever had. I got the Burrito Mojado Patron (wet burrito) and it was fantastic. My friend who was sitting across from me got the Arroz con Pollo and it was even better than what I ordered. 10/10 will be coming back here again. Meh. I wanted to love this new place but the up charge for every little thing was too much (and server was a bit odd). Friend asked for "lettuce salsa" (I don't know what that is and she could have clarified if asked) and he says that'll be $3, tomatoes are expensive. She says ummm ok... spoiler- we were charged $4 and it was pico de gallo- no lettuce. So after that comes, and it clearly wasn't salsa verde of some sort, she asks for slaw with her meal. That came in a little salsa size bowl and no charge. Go figure. We both got large combos. When choosing meats, the guy pushed the other meat saying he does not touch the ground beef. Well, dude, after you act like the ground beef is poison I guess I'll try the other beef. The other beef had an up charge of $1 per item. I asked for a shrimp taco and pork enchilada when he asked if I wanted a chicken or pork enchilada. He comes back later and says there's no more pork enchiladas and no shrimp for the tacos. I'm ok, I guess I'll just have whatever else. Despite not having what I wanted and switching to the other beef, the up charge remained... I think without the $4 pico de gallo that we didn't want and the up charge for everything it would have been 4 stars but at this point it's a solid 2.5. Like the food was good and maybe I'd try it again but the service and up charges left a bad taste in my mouth for two days. Maybe just raise the prices $2 and it evens out and let people pick what choices they want? And don't act like the ground beef is awful? ‍ Just kind of weird. read more

We tried Patron for the first time recently & really liked the food. The chips were warm & the salsa very fresh as it's made daily in house. I had the street tacos & my husband had the flautas from the lunch menu & we were both very pleased. Keyword here is fresh & the beer came with a frosted glass! YES!! So far this is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Spokane (I have tried many). This place has the authentic taste that I've been searching for since moving out here. Their food is fresh and tasty and doesn't come out right away. That right there is an indication that they are actually cooking it and not just serving it up out of a batch that's been sitting there and then pouring some warmed up generic enchilada sauce or whatever they want to call it over the top.
