At this point, I'm not even sure if this is a legitimate business or if all of the other reviews…read moreare fake. I was referred to this company by someone I know. Turns out they didn't have direct experience with the company, and it was a secondhand referral. The owner, Tim, answered my initial call where I inquired about a moving quote. After that, no phone calls were answered again. Calls went to voicemail and I received texts in return - several hours later. We set up a virtual inspection for the day after the initial call. After it was completed I was told I'd receive an estimate. When I finally received the estimate I had a couple of questions about things on there, so I texted the owner. He said he would make the adjustments and suddenly when I got the new quote there were additional or different charges, effectively making the amount about the same as the initial quote. But the price was still going to be better than some other quotes we received, so I wasn't too concerned about it and decided to proceed. I accepted the invoice and waited to receive the link to pay the deposit. This is where things got weird. The deposit payment request was for an amount that didn't equate to half of the estimate I received. I texted Tim asking if he could explain where that amount came from. He said it should have been for 50% of the quote. Within a few minutes, I see that the link had updated and now reflected the 50% that I expected to see. I brushed it off as a simple error and tried to pay the deposit via the link I was sent. The link appeared to come from Chase (where I also bank), but kept giving me an error message when I clicked "Pay by Card". Right away I notified Tim and even sent screenshots of the error I was receiving. I kept trying - on my phone, my laptop, but nothing was working. I notified Tim and he said he'd get back to me after looking into what was going on, but he never did. I tried to follow up once more today, and received no response Obviously, I can't wait any longer to find out whether or not this will work out as we are only a few days away from our move. So now I have to scramble to hopefully book a different service in time for our move this weekend. I can only assume one of two things must be true based on this experience - 1. a higher paying job came along and instead of cancelling ours, they ghosted until we were the ones that had to give up and let them off the hook or 2. this company is a scam, and they never had any intention of showing up in the first place. Oh, and I looked them up on the Secretary of State's site. Their business license has been suspended since 11/2024. Do not give this company your time or money.

He brought three strong, hardworking guys within just two hours. They worked tirelessly alongside me and my sister for over five hours to load everything efficiently and carefully. He arranged everything like a master Tetris player -- maximizing every inch of space so it all fit perfectly into one huge load. Here's a list of words I would use to describe them: - Punctual (came exactly when they said they would!) - Communicative - Friendly - Professional - Efficient - Careful - Considerate What I'd recommend to you: - Have everything boxed/bagged up and ready to go. They do not provide boxes nor wardrobe cabinets. - Furniture and large oddly shaped items can be left - they automatically wrapped and padded everything before hauling it out - They don't take cat litter boxes or anything else that could be a biohazard, so plan for that yourself - They will refuse to take some delicate items such as computer monitors (TVs were ok) unless they are already boxed well. - (obviously) have some water and a restroom available. We hired Andrew and the amazing crew here by the recommendation of a close family friend. I got really sick after and forgot to leave a good review, which is so so deserved. So I'm gonna go off. I am now in the midst of unpacking and I'll go into that in a minute. When we moved, we were not prepared. We had just moved half a storage unit into the house and ended up giving away tons of stuff. So we had barely packed, not for a move into storage. Andrew and his crew showed up that morning ready to go and they packed so much of our stuff with absolutely the most care. As I sit and unpack, every single thing is labeled, every chair, every item, which room them came from and who, everything wrapped to perfection. I feel like a kid on Christmas morning. I trusted Andrew and the guys to wrap and care for my vintage furniture, delicate mirrors and a lifetime of memories. And they surpassed any and all expectations. The packing was so excellent that the movers I hired here complemented the thoughtful procedure are care of packing several times. The storage was so well thought out and unpacked beautifully. The whole experience was very hard two years ago and the relief in knowing a group of people did such an amazing job, it's really the care. I want to also add that not only did Andrew and the guys show up ready to tackle our overpacked home but they were fast, I don't know how they took so much care so quickly. They also drove it all the way here and unpacked it into storage and a family members home so fast. It was impressive. I wouldn't spend this much time writing this if I wasn't truly impressed. They deserve all the accolades here. Also they were kind and respectful of my mother, child and cats and super nice. My husband and I kept commenting on how awesome they were. If you are anywhere near Orange County, Costa Mesa Moving and Andrew are the way to go. Don't even bother calling anyone else. This is the place.
