Gilford, New Hampshire. We were in the area to go to Gunstock ski resort, staying at Fireside Inn and the gal at the front desk told us to come here for dinner, which was a great recommendation. It was open mic night, so different people were coming up every half hour or so, some with guitars, and it was such a fun Irish pub atmosphere. The FOOD was delicious and the server was excellent. She asked if we wanted the sweet potato fries a little crunchier and I said "of course" because who likes soggy sweet potato fries. They have gluten free buns so I got one of their specialty burgers and devoured the entire thing. The lobster crab cakes were so good. The one weird thing that happened: we had just bought wine bottles at the store next door to take back to the hotel, but when we came in, they asked to hold it at the front until we finished our meal. That might be a NH law.

Cozy straight forward restaurant. I had the grain/sweet potato bowl and a passion fruit margarita-which was good but would have been better with a tahin rim. The grain bowl was pretty small and served in a comically large bowl. Next time I think I'll stick with the pub food because the mozzarella sticks at a nearby table looked insanely delicious. Our waitress was good.

SO much fun! I stole my son away for a spontaneous weekend tubing and skiing at Gunstock. I knew that it would be brilliant but Patrick's made a great start to the weekend even better. The restaurant is cozy in feel, full of happy energy, welcoming staff (and excellent service). I had the Chicken Caesar Wrap with the Pub Fries cooked extra crispy. Usually I'm not a fan but these fries are cut thinly while still being broad. My son had the Fish n' Chips. He tore through the fish and there wasn't much talking so I think that was a success too. And to make it even better, the Celtics game was on several TVs and there was a music Bingo game going on (with REALLY great questions and an excellent game host)! Thanks for such a fantastic evening!

It's very noisy so I wouldn't go there if you get overstimulated by crowded places. The food is delicious And fresh! My steak tips were yummy slightly sweet perfectly cooked. I don't like how there is pretty much raw peppers on top of the steak. Mac & cheese is pretty bland. It needs more cheese and salt. All the staff is very friendly and upbeat.

Irish Onion Soup

One of the best experiences I had at a restaurant from start to finish in a long time. We decided to stop by before attending a concert, and wanted to eat locally. Started off with an onion soup which was good. Cheese galore! I'm not even a french onion soup fan but this one was tasty. For my entree, I ordered the drunken chicken & chips. Once again, I took a gamble because I'm not the biggest bbq sauce fan. But I saw it was made with Irish Whiskey and it just sounded good. Holy moly...when I tell you this was one of the best bbq sauces I've ever had, I mean that wholeheartedly. It's sweet, almost like a teriyaki sauce. The chicken tenders were juicy and had the perfect crisp and crunch. Fries were good and coleslaw was good. But those tenders, jeez I wish I lived closer just to experience those one more time. We ended with the house made Irish sticky toffee pudding and omg so good. Soft, fluffy, just delicious really. Never had anything like it before and I loved it. Also shoutout to our waiter who was so attentive. I think he came to check on us almost 5 times which never happens...he was so kind and made sure we had what we needed. I will be back if I am ever up this way again. TLDR: Arguably some of the best BBQ chicken tenders I've ever had

My boyfriend drank beers on tap and I had my classic Tito's and pineapple. It was only $10 for my liquor drink which was a great price for the size. It was made very well. All the food we had was fantastic. It took a little while to come out but was so worth the wait. I got a Cesar salad and truffle Parmesan fries. My boyfriend got the spicy pepperoni pizza which was delicious. It had pepperoni, red pepper flakes, hot honey, and ricotta. Mouthwatering. My Cesar salad was perfect and the fries were to die for. I love a good truffle parm combo. Everything about our experience was positive except for the bartender constantly talking to her friends who came to sit at the bar which caused our level of service to decrease, which is the only reason I took away a star. She seemed frazzled and I did have to repeat my orders a few times. Otherwise, it was a great night of food and drinks. The bathrooms are not gender neutral but are handicap accessible, as is the restaurant. I would definitely come back.

We will ask to sit farther away if that happens again. Or we just won't go on music nights. The singer guitarist was good, but every song was in the same key (all songs sounded alike). Some like that. We don't. Musical taste is subjective. We're musicians and know that. It's tough to please everyone. Our food and drinks were all delicious! And that's really why we continue to go to 405. My steak tips and Greek salad was yummy! My daughter had the same and loved it too. My husband loved the fish and chips. While the performer was really good, he had the speakers up pretty loud making it difficult for my husband and I to hear each other and we were sitting side by side. At the time there were only a total of 8 people in the saloon including my husband and I so turning the volume down a tad would've been perfect. We sat at the bar and asked what they had on tap? Unfortunately not a whole lot. We asked if they had a drink menu and they didn't. The food menu was pretty scarce as well. Loved all the decor. Looks like it was changed from an auto garage to a saloon. I don't know if it actually was or it's just how they wanted it to look. Ceiling is painted blue with white coulee to mimic the sky. Great music playing. They do live music Friday nights and karaoke other nights. There's a pool table in the back to kill time while you wait for your food. The service was great. There was one girl wrong was hostess, bartender, and waitress in one. I'll assume they are short staffed, she did an amazing job wearing all three hats. Most importantly, the food was great. They have specials which we didn't order. We started with the loaded saloon fries. Shredded cheese, bacon, and ranch. The cheese was melted in between the fries so all the fries were covered. Not like some places that throw it on top. The wings were crispy and delicious. The best part is you are able to order them by the wing. You don't need to order 6 or 10. You can order one of each if you want. They call it Buck-A-Wing. We ordered a few different flavors. My favorite was the sweet Thai chili. Our main meal was the Philly cheese steak with onion rings which we split. The steak was chopped very small. It allowed the cheese to mix in with it and the small peppers. Lots of flavor and very delicious. It is a little small, so I would not suggest splitting it with anyone like I did. Overall a great experience. I wish there were more places like this where I live.

This was our first visit, and it's easy to see why so many artists include it on their summer tour schedules. The surrounding Lake Winnipesaukee area is beautiful, and the venue itself is modern and well laid out. We were under the pavilion roof in reserved seating, but there's lawn seating available too if you're looking for a less expensive option. The sound quality was excellent, and despite the crowd, getting in, finding our seats, and enjoying the evening was all surprisingly easy. Concessions are what you'd expect at a concert venue--plenty of choices, but at concert prices. That's hardly unique these days. What stood out more was how well the Pavilion itself is laid out. It manages to feel intimate enough to connect with the performers while still being large enough to attract major touring acts. As someone with knee issues, I especially appreciated the golf-cart shuttles to and from the remote parking areas. If you're thinking about seeing a show here, I'd encourage it. Sarah McLachlan was amazing, but the venue deserves some of the credit for making it such an enjoyable evening.
