Visited Patrick's pub as I heard great things about it. Unfortunately our spirits were quickly dashed by the overzealous bearded manager with the cut off sweat pants and black ankle socks. Obviously had an inferiority complex as he quickly attacked 2 females and stated he wouldn't wouldn't serve us. I think it was because we were from Massachusetts and he made us wait out in the rain for an Uber. Stay away from this place The truth of the matter is we walked in with one cup of wine with 1/4 of an inch left. We were dropped off in a taxi and cold sober. Patrick's pub manager made a point to target two white females. Even after we left the pub it wasn't enough for him but he proceeded to call every restaurant in town telling them not to serve us. That is the definition of harassment I don't know what is!! Our taxi drivers & hotel staff were appalled at Patrick's Pubs behavior & were very apologetic. This was our first time in this town and will be our last thanks to the attitude of your staff. Despicable.. read more

We went last night, party of 6 at about 8:00 PM. There was no wait and we were seated promptly. Out waitress was an older lady and she was awesome. Very efficient, and friendly. Sodas were never empty which is a big deal to me. All meals were delicious. Specifically I had the Galoway Haddock which was really good, and the haddock was fresh which is also a big deal to me. We were seated in a small room straight ahead from the hostess stand and the only negative I have about the entire experience is this other waiter that was serving the table next to us. He was loud, and his tone was offputting he was actually very friendly, but to friendly in that overly friendly obnoxious waiter sort of way. Don't get me wrong, pats is decent now but used to be so much better a couple years ago. I don't know if they changed cooks or what but definitely the quality isn't the same. This used to be my favorite restaurant in the lakes region. Hope they switch back to some previous menu items like the mozz sticks and fix the Mac and cheese. We showed up a little early for a concert and decided to give this pub a try. First off, everyone had the same idea and there was a lobby full of people waiting but somehow the line went through with ease. We were seated quicker than expected and our waitress and food were amazing. I ordered the French dip with sweet potato fries. The fries were amazing! Good reviews so we gave it a shot. So glad we did. The place looks great and the menu made it hard to choose. Everything looked great. I got the fish and chips while she tried the harvest sandwich. Unfortunately she wasn't into the pumpkin butter but they switched it for mac and cheese which she liked. Above all that our waitress Jess was phenomenal. My family chose to eat here after a long day of shopping and sight-seeing simply because it was right across from our hotel- and who doesn't like Irish pub fare?! However we realized we found a priceless gem in Patrick's. The waitstaff was attentive without being overly excited and the food was amazing. We had drunken chicken (get this!!) and steak tips plus kid friendly burgers. The drinks were exceptional. We had white velvets (Guiness and Vanilla Vodka) and chocolate overload (a better twist on the choc martini, trust me.) The chocolate truffle dessert sealed the deal. If we were staying another night we would close the place down again. I love this place. Every town should have a Patrick's! Thank you for being amazing. read more

Came here for the open mic and was really happy with the vegan options! I had a garden salad to start and then the buddha bowl with no beets. The tahini sauce is delicious! It could use some salt and pepper but overall, a great option for vegans. If you added a Beyond burger to the menu, it would be even better! read more

The food at this restaurant is great. We arrived on a Saturday night at 7. They told us the wait was 45 minutes but it turned out to be 30. Hubby and son started with bbq chicken wings which they loved. My son said that might even be his main meal next time. The bread came to the table warm with herbed butter. So delicious. Hubby got steak tips which he enjoyed. Son got Caesar salad and Mac and cheese which were also great. He is very picky about his Caesar salad so that was a nice surprise. I got crabby patty sandwhich which comes with carmelized onions. All I can say is OMG. Amazing. The restaurant itself is large and on a Saturday night quite noisy. The waitress was excellent. I almost gave 4 stars because of the noise, but after thinking about it I decided the food trumps the noise. It was absolutely delicious and worth the wait. read more

Don't skip the Seafood chowder, there's a reason it's award winning. It's packed with seafood, unlike other places that have too high a ratio of potato. Tammy was helping us and she was lovely. LOCAL HOEDOWN!!! Oh my god. Me and my gals wanted to stop by a jolly little pub so we decided to head over to Patrick's Pub! Best decision of our life. Automatically I felt welcomed and warm in the joyful pub with delicious scents in the air and the exciting football game in the background! Food was 10/10 and came out so quickly. No reservations, but they offer call-ahead seating. Ring 'em 30 minutes before you want to eat, and cut your wait time. It's a quality joint around a dearth of other options, so plan to do it. Or pass time with Golden Tee at the ready. Once you're in and sat, unbuckle - the portions are no joke. Nothing terribly creative nor unheard of at similar pubs, but the specialties (namely seafood chowder and the house smoked BBQ pulled pork) get numerous shouts across four pages of menu. Said swine topped a mound of chips and more cheese than a 90's tween dramedy for the shared nachos appetizer. Melted throughout with thick, crisp tortilla chips? Winner. My French Dip served its purpose, albeit a bit heavy on Guinness caramelized onions. Cole slaw (one of two side options - fries, the other) is tangy and firm. Apply pepper as though you were the bawse. Because you're the bawse. Service is friendly and ultra-accommodating to our party of eight, with three under three. In town from Boston skiing and came across this place on Yelp. Really good bar food and most seemed homemade and not frozen. Curbside pickup due to COVID was easy and safe. Got fish and chips, which managed to stay crispy despite the takeout, and the Vermont cheddar chicken, which was a really enjoyable sandwich with a nicely toasted brioche bun. Came by last weekend and stayed by the lake. There aren't many options for restaurants nearby, but the food was good. I wouldn't say it was amazing or even the food was cheap, but I was overall satisfied. 1) Excellent Combo Appetizers (Hummus, Artichoke Dip, Some other Fried Stuff) 2) NO LEMONADE. How do you not have lemonade with fried food/burgers during the 4th of July!! 3) I had a lobster roll and side salad. The lobster were didn't have too much mayo, and came with lots and lots of lobster. This was amazing, but I heard they did have an award winning Seafood Chowder. 4) We had a pretty large table of 8, with complicated orders, therefore I give the poor waitress credit for putting up with us. 5) Things I didn't eat, but heard it was good: Shrimp/Scallop Pasta, Blue Cheeseburger, Anything Seafood, and Mac n Cheese 6) I saw the stir-fry, and I am Chinese. I wouldn't get a stir-fry here. The End. In addition, they also had live music with a medium size pub seen. All and all, I won't make a special trip, but it does the trick. read more

Tried this joint out on a recent trip to Laconia. I would have to say this was one of the better places to stop....we were welcomed to the opening of there beach-y themed luau. Patrick's pub is easily accessible, has indoor and outdoor seating and nice ambiance in dining rooms. The service is excellent and wait staff are very attentive to the customer. Very nice choices on menu so always something for everyone. Ordered the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer which were delicious stuffed with sausage and shrimp. Very firm mushrooms which is often a problem with stuffed mushrooms as they are so greasy and start falling apart. Next was our lobster rolls which were heaping with big pieces of lobster. Just light mayonnaise which was good as did not overpower the lobster. Rolls were toasted which is a must for me. Got a side with the lobster roll do had the onion hooks which were not greasy and lightly battered with a yummy dipping sauce. Excellent meal and great service. Yum yum I will be back, If you live in the area if you come to the area often make sure you get their Patricks loyalty card as everyone you go you earn points towards a $10 off coupon. read more
