2025 BMW I4 M50
Keith L.

I recently leased a 2025 BMW i4 M50 from Patrick BMW. Natalie was amazing. She presented me with a great deal on our first exchange; no back and forth like most dealers. Overall it was a great experience and I will be back for my next car purchase.

Unfortunately one of the worst car buying experiences I have had. From the test drive to the delivery it was nothing short of exhausting. I waited four hours to purchase the vehicle only to come back another day and wait another two hours. Now four months later I still do not have a title or registration. The most frustrating part is no one will call me back, the Client Advisor, Finance Manager, Title Specialist, Client Retention Manager, General Manager. Do yourself a favor and go to Fields or Perillo.

When the salesman Go over & Beyond to make the shopping experience a memorable one..My salesman Mr. Angelo did just that from picking me up from the train station with this being an out of state purchase to the enjoyable ride & small tour back to the dealership..I'm definitely looking forward to doing business with Patrick BMW in the near future....Thanking the salesperson & finance manager for working out this amazing deal!

Patrick BMW is the best dealer in the Chicago area! We have purchased 4 BMWs from Patrick over the past ten years. We bought this X3 yesterday from Adam. Adam steered us through the process as efficiently as possible. He treated us with professionalism and got us a fair deal. Greg gave great tech support to teach us how to use the vehicle. Great dealer with great people. Believe thru reputation, it's well earned!

Fake key

Dealership quoted me "comprehensive warranty" during negotiations, sold me a basic warranty instead. Also claimed to give me "2 keys" and gave me 1 key and a $20 eBay knock off that just looks like a key. Stated they would reimburse me for the key, then complained about the cost of the key and said they would "never reimburse that much" and claimed i over paid for the key because of the service I used. (Which was over $200 cheaper than going through a dealership) This dealership talks a big game and delivers on none of the things they promise. They employ amateurs who dont know how to do basic research before they make stupid statements and treat customers poorly. Avoid like the plague. Take your money and business elsewhere.

Templated reply asking more of my time to help them improve their customer service as if they aren't going try to get every penny they can.

My sales coordinator was Rose, she was a joy to work with, as were Tim & Tim, the 2 gentlemen who assisted with the financing. All 3 of them are very personable, customer oriented & know their stuff. All my questions were answered to my satisfaction, everything was thoroughly explained. The monthly payment was a little more than I wanted to pay, but for what I got, it's well worth it. I loved the fact that I didn't need to haggle to get a great price, the price you see on the website is the price that you pay, but keep in mind that's before all taxes, fees, & any extras that you want are added on. For the test drive, I took the car to my mechanic, who checked the car out thoroughly, the car passed with flying colors, with a couple of minor issues that were addressed before I drove off the lot. I can honestly say that in all my years of buying cars, this was the easiest, most pleasant car buying experience that I've ever had. I highly recommend Hertz Schaumburg.

However as we were told by our sales rep they only have 1 guy who does the finances. This causes a huge backup if there is literally anyone else there trying to buy a car. We were there from 9:30am to 2:30pm. While buying a car is a process, it's not a 5 hour process. Esp since there is no haggling involved and we had the car we wanted picked out. By the time we were able to sign our contract we were already in a huge hurry So we had to rush the most important part of the whole thing. We carved out 3 hours, were fine with 4, then started to get annoyed and anxious at 5 We also noticed an interior light wasn't working during our test drive. The sales rep mentioned they would have someone swap it out but by the time we left it was still out. Either they forgot, or somehow in 5 hours had no time to swap out an interior lightbulb. They did end up changing it a few days later though We would defiantly go back and recommend to friends. Just make sure to bring lunch haha

The worst part was their sheer incompetence regarding state regulations. They insisted it was "mandatory" for me to show a driver's license since I was on the payment method, even though my wife was the primary buyer on the vehicle. This is completely false and NOT an Illinois state law. Instead of double-checking their facts, their staff chose to be rude and condescending to my wife on the phone while continuing to give us the runaround. Save yourself the stress and insulting treatment. The total lack of basic legal knowledge, combined with terrible communication, disrespect, and complete disorganization, makes this Schaumburg dealership a total mess.

AVOID THIS DEALER AT ALL COSTS. TL;DR, avoid this dealer. Corporate does not stand by product. I'm going to bullet point the rest, because there's just so much. - [ ] Bought an EV3 on Labor Day. They couldn't actually give it to me because it had not gone through a pre-sale inspection. - [ ] During negotiations, no one seemed to know that Kia was giving $1500 cash towards the purchase which was even listed on Bob Rohrman's own website. This included the general manager, Ricky Perez. - [ ] Contacted me the next day saying my vehicle would be ready by noon. - [ ] Arrived at noon, vehicle is not even close to ready. - [ ] It was 12:30 when we were finally able to see the vehicle. Upon seeing it, we realized that the vehicle had not been cleaned... rocks on the floor, protective plastic still covering everything, adhesive on the window from the MSRP sticker, sticky substance on the outside of the vehicle. The outside of the vehicle not clean, not to mention a staple sitting on top of the hood. - [ ] In addition, it was only charged to 29% giving a total of 75 miles of range, barely enough to get back home. IN OTHER WORDS, THE VEHICLE WAS NOT APPROPRIATELY INSPECTED LET ALONE ROADWORTHY (see further below). - [ ] After talking with the general manager, Ricky, he offered a free oil change. Laughable, because it's an EV. He offered to buy lunch, but we just wanted to go home. He would not take responsibility for not knowing that there was a $1500 customer cash allowance or making sure his staff knew (blamed the tech people). He also blamed all other issues on being understaffed. The person who sold the vehicle was apparently responsible for cleaning it. - [ ] Hours later, Devarj Datcher (the only bright spot of the day) took the time to show us how to use everything in the vehicle as it was placed on a level three charger so we could finally go home. We think he might have floor mats mailed to us (yet to receive) due to him. Who knew basic mats were not included with the vehicle. - [ ] Once home, I removed the multitude protective plastic coverings as nothing was removed. - [ ] More importantly, I had to deflate my tires to spec. They were more than 30% overinflated. For those that don't know, this is very dangerous if you should hit a pothole. You run the risk of a blowout. - [ ] I contacted corporate afraid that no pre-sale inspection was done. They insisted that I go back to the same dealer (an hour away). If I wanted another dealer to do this, I would have to pay them out of my own pocket! - [ ] I refuse to go back to a dealer that could not adequately inspect and prepare let alone send me on my way safely the first time. - [ ] This is my first Kia. I will never buy a Kia again. The dealer is horrendous. Corporate will not pay to make sure things are done the way they should've been done. I've documented all communication, including screenshots, showing tire pressures.

To the point that I will never buy a car from this dealership. This is the second time I have had a problem trying to buy a car from them. My first experience, I was at the table signing the papers when I noticed they had changed the agreed upon finance rate by several points. They lied and said that I didn't qualify for that rate. So, I just got up and walked out. They of course came running after me and immediately changed it back but this gives you a taste of how they behave. This time they wanted me to pay for $4000 in nonsense dealer add ons that I didn't want. Like interior and exterior insurance, rust proofing etc. The manager refused to take it off. He told me that on their more popular vehicles that they would not remove the add ons. The only thing he would do is allow me to pay them their $2900 profit they would make on that and receive no add ons, essentially taking off $1100 and paying an extra $2900 for absolutely nothing. This is a super shady unethical money grab. The silver lining was that my child was with me and this provided a very valuable lesson in car buying and how to recognize a scumbag that you should not do business with. Comically, their slogan is 'whatever it takes'. That slogan is literally on every car in the place. It obviously implies that they want to sell cars and are willing to negotiate. Unfortunately, what it really means is that they will do 'whatever it takes' to milk people for every penny possible. I would seriously recommend going elsewhere. These guys are the ones that give car dealers bad names. I honestly do not understand why so many car dealers continue to behave poorly and make buying a car so unpleasant. It doesn't have to be this way. Consumers don't like it. I refuse to make a purchase from someone like this. Bottom line, if you are selling cars, please treat every customer in a manner that you would want your mother to be treated if she walked in to buy a vehicle. Is it that hard? .... Not sure how they sleep at night.

From the moment I walked in, Eric made the entire process smooth, transparent, and genuinely enjoyable. He took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for, answered all of my questions without any pressure, and made sure I felt confident every step of the way. His knowledge, professionalism, and friendly approach really stood out. What truly set this experience apart from any dealership I've worked with in the past was how seamless and efficient everything was. Eric was a true one-stop resource--handling everything from the vehicle details to paperwork and financing. There was no back-and-forth between different departments, which made the process incredibly straightforward. Remarkably, I was able to walk in, complete everything, and drive out with the keys in hand in about an hour. That level of efficiency is almost unheard of when buying a car, and it made a typically time-consuming experience refreshingly easy. If you're in the market for a new vehicle, I highly recommend working with Eric Jensen at Wickstrom Auto Group--you'll be in great hands. I am thankful I stumbled upon doing business with Eric and at same time annoyed I just found him. I don't foresee working with anyone else next time I am in the market and it's great that as part of Wickstrom Auto Group he can support the Ford and Lincoln models in addition to Jeep.
