Although I didn't personally purchase a car here, my best friend did. I went with her to help her with her car buying experience. We were first greeted by Rick Lenhardt. He's been called Mazda Rick. He is so knowledgeable about Mazda and he was not pushy at all. He was actually very patient and took the time to listen to what we wanted. In the end my best friend did purchase the car at Napelton for 2 reasons. Firstly, they were able to meet the price we were willing to pay and secondly it was Rick. We went to a few other dealerships after our initial visit to Napelton. And honestly we loved the way we were treated at Napelton. No pressure. No nagging. No chasing us out the door. It was truly a pleasurable buying experience. Highly recommend Napelton Mazda and ask for Mazda Rick.

Bought a used Mitsubishi Lancer in 8/24/24 as my daily. Drove it within 24 hours gas smells and brought it back 8/26/24 for them to check. They said they did not find it. After a week I brought it back to them because it was really bad it's making me dizzy. They found the leak from the fuel tank. Had them fix it. They stated they replaced the gas tank and fuel filler neck. Got the car back and when I fill up the tank it spills and burp before the gas pump clicked. That I can take although I know something is not right. A week after I got CEL P0420, went ahead and had the catalytic converter replaced, still has that code. Then yesterday I checked the valve cover and ther was oil leaking. I went ahead and changed the valve cover gasket. After one driving cycle code P0455 came on the obd 2. Large evap leak. Until I got tired checking what the problem is and decided to check the filler neck to see if a hose is kinked or not attached but to my surprise, the old filler neck is still there with cracked hose still attached to it. They did not replaced that at all. Now my daily that I paid cash is turning into an extra expenses now. There's always something coming up. I felt scammed by a reputable mazda dealership. I went ahead to call the dealership to talk to a manager but no one's answering when they forwarded me to his phone line. I did not want to buy a car that will give me problems such as this. Given it's an older car, its running but it dissappoints me that there's underlying issues that could have been fixed the first time before they post it on sale. I will be calling again tomorrow. I wasted a lot of time already and hopefully they will be kind enough to even entertain my complaint.

I had a great experience buying a Mazda MX-5 GT. I got the process started when I was at work, and by the end of the day, I was picking up my brand new beautiful roadster with very little time spent at the dealership. Very smooth and courteous process.

My sales coordinator was Rose, she was a joy to work with, as were Tim & Tim, the 2 gentlemen who assisted with the financing. All 3 of them are very personable, customer oriented & know their stuff. All my questions were answered to my satisfaction, everything was thoroughly explained. The monthly payment was a little more than I wanted to pay, but for what I got, it's well worth it. I loved the fact that I didn't need to haggle to get a great price, the price you see on the website is the price that you pay, but keep in mind that's before all taxes, fees, & any extras that you want are added on. For the test drive, I took the car to my mechanic, who checked the car out thoroughly, the car passed with flying colors, with a couple of minor issues that were addressed before I drove off the lot. I can honestly say that in all my years of buying cars, this was the easiest, most pleasant car buying experience that I've ever had. I highly recommend Hertz Schaumburg.

However as we were told by our sales rep they only have 1 guy who does the finances. This causes a huge backup if there is literally anyone else there trying to buy a car. We were there from 9:30am to 2:30pm. While buying a car is a process, it's not a 5 hour process. Esp since there is no haggling involved and we had the car we wanted picked out. By the time we were able to sign our contract we were already in a huge hurry So we had to rush the most important part of the whole thing. We carved out 3 hours, were fine with 4, then started to get annoyed and anxious at 5 We also noticed an interior light wasn't working during our test drive. The sales rep mentioned they would have someone swap it out but by the time we left it was still out. Either they forgot, or somehow in 5 hours had no time to swap out an interior lightbulb. They did end up changing it a few days later though We would defiantly go back and recommend to friends. Just make sure to bring lunch haha

Purchased the car and on the way home as it warmed up and I exceeded 40, the transmission begins to bog down. Badly. Serious enough that I had to change to manumatic shifting to get home. The car was clearly, badly, defective. If it was inspected by kia techs and set out for sale, then it was a honeypot, a car set out to deliberately fail, to entice a customer into a new car with the old, "nothing we can do" attitude. The paper they showed my about the Soul being inspected suddenly meant nothing. I WAS FORCED INTO BUYING A NEW CAR FROM THEM. My options were paying thousands to replace a transmission on a car with massive miles or get into another overpriced, possibly knowingly defective, used car. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP.

Rafael Sanchez reluctantly approached and tried to understand by issue of the front camera not functioning as expected. I only recently had purchased my 2023 4Runner used with Toyota Certified Warranty- I was assured this would be something covered so I wasn't worried. However, because I was from out of state, Rafael took that context to deny me any assistance. He claimed it would be "a lot of phone calls and probably take a long time to get parts if it's even covered" which should be up to the customer to decide honestly. I assured him I would be in town long enough and he just refused and said I should take it back to the original dealer, which was at no point what I'd expect when I just paid so much money for a new, albeit used, car under warranty. He also mentioned it's not a critical item so it's fine to just keep using the car. This is an infuriating experience I've never been so baffled. Just because dealing with your corporate warranty department is a headache, does not give you the right to deny service when I am under said warranty. Horrible impression. Further, when customer care reached out saying I missed my appointment ( I didn't) I explained the situation again, hoping anyone would care enough to make it right without me chasing them down. Unfortunately not, the nice gal who replied to my email said she was passing the info along to Mike Krueger so he can personally follow up. Surprise, complete silence. Terrible experience over all, unfortunately looks like this is a trend in the area so still on the hunt for a service department that won't be so lazy or dismissive.

Buying a car became a 5-hour ordeal. And then I was told I should visit Wickstrom in Barrington. So I did. Dealing with Wickstrom and Don DiPaulo was unlike any other car experience I had. I wanted a two door Wrangler and BOOM! - there it was. Don didn't try to shove the 4-door down my throat or dance the jig trying to get me to go for the Wagoneer. There was no "add this" or "you really need undercoating - now!" The entire experience was painless - Don DiPaulo was very pleasant and accommodating and (I couldn't believe this part) I didn't want to strangle him and (even more unbelievable) i was out of there in less than 90 minutes. I do recommend heading to Wickstrom next time you're thinking of buying a car or truck. From the moment I walked in, Eric made the entire process smooth, transparent, and genuinely enjoyable. He took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for, answered all of my questions without any pressure, and made sure I felt confident every step of the way. His knowledge, professionalism, and friendly approach really stood out. What truly set this experience apart from any dealership I've worked with in the past was how seamless and efficient everything was. Eric was a true one-stop resource--handling everything from the vehicle details to paperwork and financing. There was no back-and-forth between different departments, which made the process incredibly straightforward. Remarkably, I was able to walk in, complete everything, and drive out with the keys in hand in about an hour. That level of efficiency is almost unheard of when buying a car, and it made a typically time-consuming experience refreshingly easy. If you're in the market for a new vehicle, I highly recommend working with Eric Jensen at Wickstrom Auto Group--you'll be in great hands. I am thankful I stumbled upon doing business with Eric and at same time annoyed I just found him. I don't foresee working with anyone else next time I am in the market and it's great that as part of Wickstrom Auto Group he can support the Ford and Lincoln models in addition to Jeep.

Door - The screen door was missing a piece of plastic, which created a hole for bugs to come in and the door itself required a VERY hard closure to latch. My kids could rarely do it themselves. Awning - Not functional; directions in troubleshooting book didn't match type of awning on our RV. Generator - Shut off inexplicably a few times. Mattress - VERY old and worn.
