We used Patisserie for my sister's bridal shower desserts, and everything was fabulous! We had a small cake and assorted mini desserts. The lemon tarts and fruit tarts were absolutely the stars of the show. Mother of the Bride was contemplating a trip to the bakery after the shower to stock up on more lemon tarts! (only didn't happen due to the bakery already being closed for the day!) There has already been discussion regarding the necessity of more mini desserts for the upcoming bachelorette party! We will definitely back in for more treats when in the Saginaw area! read more

This bakery has all of my favorites in one place! Fruit tarts, cake, a variety of amazing cupcakes, and other donuts and pastries as well. Tried the spinach feta pastry on a recommendation and it makes a great small meal or snack. I've heard good things about the muffins also, especially the orange ones. My personal favorite is the little tarts with pastry cream and fruit, and the ones here are delicious, usually with several different fruit varieties to choose from. I haven't tried their cake yet other than cupcakes, but the sample ones they have in display look like they could make just about whatever you're looking for. read more

Who knew Saginaw had such a great local bakery! We came based off a recommendation and it did not disappoint. We ordered the blueberry cream cheese danish, cinnamon roll, mini almond marzipan, and a cannoli. All of our goods were delicious and tasted super fresh! We will definitely be stopping by next time we're in Saginaw. read more

I had Patisserie make a cake for my daughter's wedding shower . Not only did it look beautiful but the white cake with Raspberry ganache and the frosting was DELICIOUS. All the women at the shower loved the cake. This is an amazing bakery and I would highly recommend them for any of your baking needs especially if you are celebrating something special . It was worth every penny I spent on it. read more

Patisserie - A beautiful cake from Patisserie - Bakeries Near Me - Saginaw, Michigan

The best dessert case in Saginaw - individual fruit tarts, lemon tarts, cannoli, cheesecakes, tiramisu, bread pudding, magic bars, cinnamon rolls, and cupcakes and cookies galore. All delicious and pretty. I've never made a special order, but their cakes look lovely. I'm subtracting a star because while the customer service is adequate, I wouldn't call it friendly. read more

In addition to doing cakes, they sell various types of bread, cookies, scones, homemade truffles, and Perugina chocolate bars. They close at 6 and they mean it. I finally made it there before 6, and at 5pm they were pretty well cleaned out. They suggested coming back in the morning (they open at 7); I did so and the selection's much better then. The cashew caramel bar I bought was nice and highly recommended by the folks at the counter, but I didn't think it was anything special. I also got two truffles. They were very sweet, with a pleasant smooth texture, with no couverture (the centers were rolled in coconut or little sprinkles). The milk chocolate one was very pleasant and I'm not a real milk chocolate person. I found their lemon tart somewhat disappointing; nicely tart but the crust was bland and the whipped-topping equivalent had an odd texture. The pecan roll is nice enough but nothing stellar. The bread of the week, cheese bread, has good texture and nice cheese flavor. Friendly staff; the owner works at a conference center in town and remembered us. read more

We love everything about the Patisserie. The cakes, cupcakes, pastries and especially the cheesecake. All of our birthday celebrations at our company has something from the Patisserie. You can't go wrong. read more

I swear they do something to their frosting that I just can't get quite right at home. I've had several variations of cupcakes to the tortes, and let me tell ya, the frosting makes it. The cake part can be hit an miss depending on what you get, but the frosting, just keeps getting you to go back for more. I highly suggest ordering a dozen of the assorted cupcakes if you haven't been. It'll be a love affair you won't forget. You'll be looking for the flavor combination everywhere you go once you stop here. read more

I bought a tray of 2 dozen cupcakes for my granddaughter's birthday. Got a variety, and they were as tasty as they were beautiful. They were a big hit, and I suspect, the start of an annual tradition. I can't imagine the amount of time it takes to come up with each one. I know I couldn't do it for $2 a cupcake. Thank you! read more

We've been going to the Patisserie for years. They make the best cakes in town. They also make cupcakes that are outstanding. We are regulars for their regular baked goods. Like the cream cheese cinnamon rolls, their fudge bars, cashew bars, pecan stickie buns, lemon tarts,...oh the list of favorites just goes on and on. This place is the real deal. It's a small family owned shop with nice people and excellent food. I couldn't recommend it more. read more

Picked up some cupcakes and was not disappointed. They were flavorful and moist and i look forward to trying other offerings they have.

The best family owned bakery in town! I don't live in Saginaw anymore but every time I come back I'm sure to stop by to get a coconut cookie or a fruit tart, you can't go wrong here! read more

I have used them for large and small events and always was pleased. My daughter ordered a variety of desserts for her wedding celebration. On the day of the event nothing had been made, error on their part...and no apology, no consideration financially, and a very rude staff. I was appalled and horrified, I will now find a new source for my bakery goods. EPIC FAIL read more

Delicious flaky apple turnover pastry! Two little tables to sit at, and very friendly staff.

I was so impressed by Patisserie that I had to write a review! My sister and I are out of towners, and we wanted to purchase a birthday cake for our friend. We found a gem in Patissserie! The staff are very friendly, and took great care to understand our unique request. In the end, they created an absolutely magnificent-looking cake that exceeded my sister and I's expectations! And our friend confirmed that it tasted even better than it looked! We were 200% satisfied with our purchase at Patisserie, and very thankful to the staff for their professionalism and kindness. Patisserie gets four thumbs up (two from me; two from my sis!) read more

I love this place cupcakes are wonderful..the cakes are too.. it's a bit pricey.. but you get what you pay for

I have gotten a few birthday cakes made here in the past. They were always delicious, beautifully decorated, and made on time. Their cookies are adorable. The only thing I could complain about is the very strong sugary smell that gives me a headache when I go in. But otherwise, this place is fantastic for birthday cakes, and even smaller treats like cupcakes, cookies, and brownies. read more

I was really happy to find this little gem of a bakery. Lots of variety; self serve on the coffee and it's good; and not just sweets, they have savory too. Wonderful fruit tarts and the best danish I have had in a long time. Highly recommend. read more

Poor customer service rates Horizon's two stars. On Saturday April 13th, 2013, we went to this shop to have a cup of coffee and desert, ordered our stuff and sat down at the tables provided. To our astonishment we were kicked out of the store and told the store was closing. We didn't get an warning, and my dad, who is on Oxygen, and was just settled in his chair, had to get ready to move a gain. Needless to say, this wasn't a relaxing experience, nor did we experience any hint of customer service you would expect from a business. This could have arrived at a different outcome if the manager at the time would have had more sense to either give us a warning that the store closes promptly before we ordered, or would have given us a five minute warning. Would you go to a restaraunt 15 minutes prior to closing, order a dinner, and accept a carry out box with your dinner in it and said they were closing? I wouldn't. This what happened at Horizons Patisserie. I won't be going back. read more
