My family and I eat here all the time because the staff greets us as if we were the only people I've seen all day. Do you know them all my name and they are the kindest group of people ever. The food is absolutely delicious and being from Boston, we love to go on Friday nights because their clam chowder is like we make back home. The cocktails are the best time for the buck in Naples And the dinners come with two sides and a choice of soup or salad also being the best bang for the buck. My server suggested the roast beef dip. This was a outstanding choice. It was a fairly good size toasted roll with thinly sliced roast beef, grilled onions and melted cheese. The au jus was very flavorful without being salty as can happen. I opted out on standard french fries and got the in house potato salad. This was one of the best potato salads I have had since migrating to Florida. It was creamy without being over mayo, season properly with just the right amount of young green onions. Almost as good as my home made. A dill pickle spear rounded out my order. Chit Chat.. I flipped a coin in choosing this place. My original destination to my dismay was a dive,it had a bar with smokers and only took cash....Though I had to wait 5 minutes or so for a table once seated service was excellent. My server Jacqueline was prompt and helpful. She even was patient on me giving a history lesson on the origins of the french dip sandwich. Stopped in here on a Saturday around 4pm. They have an $8.99 early bird dinner special (Mon - Sat 3pm - 5pm) which includes 1 glass of wine. My husband ordered pork chops and I chose the chopped steak. His pork chops were very good, and my chopped steak was amazing. It arrived perfectly cooked (I ordered it medium), juicy and full of flavor. The sides were also tasty. The service was polite and efficient, which is a good thing because this place fills up fast. We came here after receiving a certificate. It i in front of the Marshalls and Hobby Lobby plaza, passing the gas station. There is more parking in the back! We went inside and were seated immediately. Me and the bf both asked for breakfast items: Stuffed French Toast Combo: "Stuffed with homemade blueberry filing & topped with fresh blueberries and strawberries. Served with 3 eggs and a side of bacon, sausage or ham" Mix Berry & Banana Crepes "Two crepes stuffed with blueberries, strawberries, bananas and topped with homemade blueberry sauce and whipped cream" ^ From their menu. The BF received REGULAR plain french toast, 2 in total. with two eggs and the sausage. I received 1 crepe, that was just a crepe wrapped in premade fruit mix of blueberries, and some over ripe bananas. No whipped cream not blueberry sauce. The premade mix was so wet that it made the cold crepe really soggy. When we showed the waitress that the stuffed french toast as not in fact STUFFED as it's name implies, she said we did not ask for it with fruit...what?... we requested a dish that implied stuffed with fruit...but okay. We decided to let it be. Bf had orange juice, which was of the Tropicana variety. It was really really awful. It is to note that me and the bf were the youngest there, and the food was really lacking, as there were only about 3 other tables. Retaurant was pretty much empty. read more

I am no fool to how food is made in a prepared manner for freshness. I can look at what I am eating and can tell that it's from a can, microwaved, frozen, or made fresh. It's to bad The Patio had become cheap and decided to make a Chicken Pot Pie a disgrace and even my Caesar Salad was a complete joke. I seriously fought my urge to go in there and see what the hell was going on. Back to my Chicken Sad Pie. On the menu it says "made fresh daily". It was canned and quite obvious too with it's bland taste and crappy canned vegetables. I didn't even see any chicken pieces in the mess. I stirred it around trying to find some sort of goodness in it, but it was pure lazy ass sorry excuse for Chicken Pot Pie. Another thing I noticed since I was tired of looking at my shitty meal I wasted 20 bucks on was the dirty ass carpet which needs to be steamed cleaned and the air ducts are in dire need of a cleaning. When you have black dust and mold on the outside of your air ducts you seriously need to clean them. The lack of care I saw here is very disappointing because now I have limited places to go for a cheap breakfast in North Naples. I won't be returning here. I have taste buds unlike some of the old people who choose to eat there. It reminded me of Hoots catering toward the older generation. So this place is mediocre at best :-/ honestly the convenient location and reasonable prices is what would keep me coming back. So here is the breakdown: -got seated immediately, friendly service. The hostess was also the waitress which I guess is not too bad considering it was pretty empty -I ordered eggs Benedict florentine with the poached eggs on the medium side. They were a watery mess, definitely not cooked the way I expected. The hollandaise sauce was the worst I've ever had. I like a creamy explosion of flavor, this too again was watery. Not sure if they are just catering to their geriatric clientele. - all was quiet until the senior crowd strolled in. What ppl mentioned before is completely true, it feels like they left their hearing aids at home. Talking so loud I could hear their whole racist conversation. "Hey bill, ya know any Mexicans!" ('Murica) - the breakfast potatoes were cooked to perfection which I guess is a plus. Other than that, if you're in the mood for delicious homemade breakfast I would recommend Joe's Diner instead, but there may be other things on the patios menu that are better so it's worth a shot. read more

We went here because we had a groupon. I had an omelet, pancakes and grits and my boyfriend had corned beef hash, breakfast potatoes and scrambled eggs. Positives: The omelet was perfectly cooked and delicious. The veggies especially couldn't have been better. Very fresh. My boyfriend liked his eggs a lot too. They have gorgeous fresh squeezed orange juice. Don't miss out on that. The ambiance was really charming and clean. Negatives: A pet peeve of mine is rock hard butter. Come on man, you can't even spread it! The corned beef hash was mediocre at best. The maple syrup was different...not necessarily bad, but odd... I don't know how to explain it. It pains me to give this place a harsher review since my parents have had good meals here. So I would encourage you to try it even with this review. We ate breakfast mid week about 8:30 am and were the only family there. The pancakes were burnt on one side, gave my father the wrong type of toast and we never got our orange juice and had to have it removed from the bill. Also there was a screaming child, we believe an employees as it was not a patrons which I find annoying when I'm trying to enjoy a meal. used to be our reliable go to restaurant....did not have what i ordered for dinner...took 20 minutes to let me know they were out of lobster tails...changed my entree to a basic which came out cold and congealed...again sent it back and waited...figured i would give them one more chance with a basic breakfast....omelet fruit and toast....toast ice cold sent it back waited 10 minutes for warm toast to eat with my now cold omelet!!!! my partner ordered 3 eggs over easy and home fries and toast....got 2 eggs well done and breakfast potatoes...seems they do not have home fries on sunday.....again back to the kitchen for the correct eggs over light...waited 15 minutes to eat them with cold toast!!!!!.....too bad you cant give them minus star ratings! read more

Three stars is about right for this establishment. The menu is similar to what you find at Mel's Diner or Blueberry's. A lot of breakfast and lunch selections. Nothing too much out of the ordinary. They have a liquor license so you can have a beer with your pancakes. They have a nice outdoor area. Parking is a bit challenging but there's another lot to the left of the restaurant. When it's crowded, it gets really loud, like cafeteria loud. Nice to come to in the off season if you want a cheap decent meal. In season, I would avoid as it gets real crowded and very noisy. read more

We also got the strawberry Belgian waffle which was also delicious, and not the super light crunchy conventional waffles you get in a hotel continental breakfast. We got the stuffed blueberry French toast with two scrambled eggs and bacon for $10. Awesome prices. My husband & I went there for dinner last night. It was attractive with a large parking lot. Perhaps there could have been a few more handicapped spaces, but we were early so there was no problem. Dinner was very reasonably priced. I had the prime rib special, which was HUGE and done exactly as specified. It came with warm bread and soft butter, a cup of vegetable soup (or a salad), rice (or potatoes), delicious roasted green beans, carrots, and squash, a cup of jus, and a small cup of horseradish. $17.95!!!!! I do prefer a creamy horseradish, but that's just me. My husband had spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread and a cup of the vegetable soup. $12.95!!! Food is not good. I had the Santa Fe chicken salad for lunch, and have had a stomachache all afternoon. Canned corn and black beans on chopped lettuce with dried out pieces of chicken. Not overly friendly but not bad in any way. Our waiter came to us within 3 minutes and took our drink order. My wife ordered a Sea Breeze. I didn't know that a Sea Breeze has grapefruit juice. Always thought it was OJ. Oh well, a little sour for our tastes so we asked the hostess, now bartender, to sweeten up and she says, "There's sugar on your table". I gave her a look and she gave us some extra cranberry juice. "Sugar on my table" Are you kidding me? Then our waiter took our order and we waited about 10 minutes to get our soup and salad. He apologized, said that everyone in the back was talking too much. Interesting . . . Finally got our food. We decided to go typical diner style . . . Turkey dinner for me, Pot Roast dinner for my wife. I am from NJ and expect certain things from a diner. Friendly, talkative wait staff, solid prices and large plates! The food tasted good. That's all I can compliment them on. Small portions, prices that should be lowered in relation to the size of the portions and a more friendly staff.
