What a fabulous location! It's excellent if you are going to or coming from the ferry terminal. Or if you are wanting to make a day trip at the nearby mega mall but are wanting a quieter place to eat. Compared to what you get in vancouver or the tricities we find the pricing to be very fair. Ontop of that the portions are good. Being a golf course in a beautiful setting that pasta plate could've easily been $40+ in vancouver. With how nicely landscape is the service is good and friendly. This was my first visit to Pat Quinn's with a group of five others. It was a Friday evening, therefore was quite busy. Reservations are highly recommended. Although we sat in the dining side, we were able to hear the live music playing in the lounge which was amazing. I loved the Brussels sprouts and potato skins. We also ordered the bolognese which was nothing out of the ordinary. One downfall was our service. It took over ten minutes before we had our drink order taken. When our entrees arrived, three out of the six meals were brought to the table over 5 minutes after the initial three dishes were served. A male who we assumed was the manager approached our table, asked us how our evening was, said "great okay thank you" and walked away. It was a nice gesture, however the interaction was not very professional. I would come back for happy hour ! read more

Lovely warm ambience, one the most beautiful patios in all of the lower mainland . Service was Friiendly and fairly attentive but the restaurant is very popular and often packed . For bigger groups than 4 you will need to book a couple weeks in advance for weekend spots , I had the smokehouse bbq burger and it was tasty and delightful . I'd go here again for sure . We came during dine out which was so incredibly lively and busy! They even had live music at the end of our meal. Place was packed and we were celebrating so we ordered ALOT! I'm going to stick with what I got and I want to preface that the food portions are great so we left with a ton of leftovers! I started with the Burrata Con Pane (Heirloom Baby Tomatoes, Roasted Garlic, Pickled Red Onions, Arugula, Olive Oil Drizzle, Basil, Focaccia Crostini). I wanted something light and veg forward and this dish did not miss. The entire table was able to try and agreed it was the best. Spreading the roaster garlic on the bread before tossing all the ingredients together and piling it on is next level. The basil dressing was very similar to a pesto and the pickled onions were a huge hit! This would be a hit even without the burrata! I felt tomato happy because I also ordered the Linguine Rosa (Roasted Tomatoes, Yellow Peppers, Spinach, Rosa Chardonnay Cream Sauce, Parmigiano Reggiano). The dish had vibrant yellow peppers that were almost caramelized. You could taste the Chardonnay in the sauce which is as very tasty. I added chilli peppers which gave it a nice kick but otherwise, a solid dish! We also got the cheesecake which was very homemade! Delicious! Service was also exceptional! I will definitely come back here again. When you asked to be seated they might try and steer you to the lounge but you should ask to sit in the main dining area so you can get the killer view! I got the chicken Fricassee. The creamy mushroom sauce was full of flavor and the chicken was juicy. As a personal preference I usually like my carrots on the softer side and they made it perfectly. Being quite the fan of the "Big Irishman" the lovely K and I ventured out to Tsawwassen to check out Pat Quinn's Restaurant and Bar a couple of months back. Our first experience knocked it out of the park for the both of us, making a return trip very necessary. Our second visit was not as delicious as the first, but still deserving of a combined four out of five stars. Parking is very close in a spacious underground parkade a minutes walk from the entrance. The restaurant is a part of the golf course, but a separate entity. The decor is filled with hockey memorabilia and a large number of photographs, some of which our hockey fanatic has never seen. You can easily surmise some of the many conversations about hockey that those photos depict and imagine Pat holding court. Our first visit the food was outstanding, and the service very good. The beef dips au jus, was unbelievable, the depth of flavour good enough to drink once done with the beef itself, and it was downed let me assure you. The beef itself was tremendous and the addition of the deep fried onion ring, and the bread a perfect match. The side salad that came with the beef was delicious with fresh berries and candied pumpkin seeds. It was a little difficult extracting everything from the narrow round vessel, but well worth the hunting to find the last bits. The Cobb Salad ordered by the lovely K was beautifully presented, plentiful and very tasty, we're going to guess it's a very popular item. Their Red Truck lager is a local favourite and a great accompaniment to the meal. We'll certainly be back again and can only hope the au jus once again inspires one to down the remains after the meal has been tucked away! read more

Pat Quinn's venue is beautiful whether day or night, I guess more at night especially during Christmas, for they have Christmas trees outside which you can go before or after meal. Inside was classy, the servers were attentive and the waiting did not take so long. For the food that we ordered, not all were impressive such as the Malaysian Chicken Satay, I think its just the same as other satay I tasted in other restaurants which is less cheaper. The coconut crusted prawn I would say is so delicious its something original from them the coconut taste was pungent with the prawn. The Pan Seared Scallops has only 5 scallops mostly potatoes would be good if it has more for the price of $33 and the 7oz Blue Dot Sirloin Steak was tasty, tender and juicy as well as the fries is so good for its parmesan taste. To conclude, it seems like your paying more for the nice venue than the food. Though I was only their once and would love to taste their other menus. read more

Slowest. Service. Ever. Unbelievable how bad the service is considering where it is (a golf club of all places).

Classic beauty in the midst of modern part of the world. Very very elegantly decorated evergreen dinning space with lounges and tables lay out. Full fledge seated bar with all kinds of liquor stacked to the top of shelves. Pretty impressed menu as there were more than expected vegetarian food items which showcased the up to date customer excellence here. The whole space is huge with a ballrooms on the sides and restaurant in the middle. We were welcomed and ushers escorted us to out table. There is whole section of tables with huge glass windows overlooking the golf course outside. Just so picturesque. Then our server came to take our order. We requested for vegetable spring rolls and Brussels sprouts with no bacon. N i must say , they were delicious beyond expectations. So We were already full but we were intrigued by cauliflower steak with herbed gnocchi. And we made the right choice. Its was so delicate and creamy . Cherry on top was the desert. Pan fried apples on buttercup cake with vanilla ice-cream ( maybe it was named something else) but i described it well. It is a must try . This was my second visit to Pat Quinn's Restaurant and Bar. In the summer, my two friends and I sat on the beautiful patio and enjoyed happy hour and the last few golfers teeing-off. This weekend, we returned along with five additional friends to partake in the Sunday Prime Rib Dinner. We all enjoyed the prime rib and mines was cooked to a perfect medium rare. Additional, the Yorkshire Pudding was amazing as it was perfectly crispy outside and moist inside. Ask nicely and you can get an extra Yorkshire Pudding which I did and woofed down quickly. I was so full but very happy! For $34, the 8oz Prime Rib dinner with buttermilk mashed potatoes, veggies and red wine jus is a good value. My only beef is that a charge of $1.50 for the red wine jus was added to the final bill but could not find this information on the menu. I'd be glad to pay the $1.50 if noted or just add this to the dinner price. Off course there is still room so a few of us shared some desserts. The cappuccino chocolate cake and baked apple pie were both delicious too. We had a fantastic server who ensured food allergies were accommodated and loved sitting in the large private room surround by hockey memorabilia. After dinner, we stroll the ground to enjoy the Festival of Lights. Our group will be returning for their New Year's Eve buffet dinner to ring in the New Year. read more

Rarely write review. First time in my life writing a review when I am still sitting at the table. Got reservation for 6:15pm. Arrived at 6:35pm. First thing we were told that "You are late. Your table has been given to someone else!!", by the gentleman at the front holding the iPad. NOT A FRIENDLY WELCOMING!! Rude, indeed!! There must be a better way to present the message to a customer. It sounds a punishment!! Not even a call checking if we are on the way or not before giving out the table!!! What is the point to make a reservation at a fine restaurant. 100% HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Although Simon has been very helpful and friendly to make our experience better after having understood what happened, we would never come back!!! And would not recommend to anyone. Four dishes and two appetisers, and not a single one was anything over "mediocre". This venue is situated next to a golf course. If you sit at the patio you may see some golfing just on the other side of the patio partition. Pretty nice view with lots of greenery. Service was very good. The main drawback is the food. It's basically a White Spot with fancier dish, but likely the similar ingredients. So for that it's slightly overpriced. I had the seafood pasta. Ingredients are something most people can whip up shopping at any supermarket. Seafood is frozen, cream sauce was a bit bland. Even if they put some Parmesan cheese in the sauce it'd improve the flavour significantly. There was some Parmesan on top of the pasta, pre grated type. Anyway next time I'd probably just stick to a burger since that's what WhiteSpot does best. read more

I have been to Pat Quinn's 3 times now. I go in the hopes it gets better as it is the only upper scale restaurant in Tsawwassen. 3 times I have been really disappointed. the first time my wife ordered a Caesar salad and the was something in it and broke her tooth. We were compensated for that but the cost to repair the tooth was $$$$$. The second time was with guests and one of them ordered the steak. (see other review) and turned it back as it was too tough. This time for valentines two of us went. We ordered the artichoke dip which was delicious. I ordered the prime rib rare and they said they have none available but only medium rare. Ok I can live with that. The Yorkshire roll that came was crispy, crumbly and just awful. Could not eat it. We were served by a different person and our waiter never came around to ask how things were so I could not tell him about the Yorkshire roll. cannot justify going back there again. Their happy hour is great though and will go only for that. read more

Clam chowder had filler and barely saw a clam. Chicken Florentine only had 3 spinach leaves whose size bordered on micro-greens. Santa Fe bowl was flavourless with bland chicken and cold rice. Don't know if our server had another section somewhere else in the restaurant but we had very long gaps between seating, drink orders and meal order. We had a terrific evening on the patio at Pat Quinn's. We arrived about 5:30. Our table was in the shade so we found it too cool but our server Charlotte was able to snag a heat lamp for us and we were fine. They have a huge patio area and the setting is beautiful and very relaxing. Since we were there during happy hour we were able to order a bottle of red wine for $25.00 that was very good value. It was also a good wine. We also shared an order of salt and pepper wings from their happy hour menu. We relaxed over our appetizer and wine while we perused the menu and decided on dinner. Our server Charlotte was excellent. For entrees I had the soy maple salmon with herbed potatoes and asparagus and my husband had Mediterranean linguine with chorizo sausage, chicken, tomatoes and olives. Both dishes were very well prepared and tasty. The serving portions were decent. For dessert we shared an apple caramel cheesecake that my husband said was one of the better cheesecakes that he has had. Pat Quinn's has been one of the better dining experiences since we have been restricted to patio dining. read more

My companion had the pulled pork hash, it was served in a cast iron pan and I was told it was very good. pricing was pretty much on par with other restaurant brunch offerings. Food was decent. Excellent level of freshness of the vegetables and the layout was very well done for most dishes. Great variety or people who want healthy choices, and more hearty meal choices. Refer to the photos Curry chicken: I was very pleased with my order: a side salad for example with the curry chicken and rice. Curry chicken and rice - the curry was mild and not spicy at all. So no worries if you're not into very spicy. Side salad: this was excellent and very fresh. Very pleased. Pizza: I had a piece of the pizza, and that was pretty good with thin crust. Good place chill for a beer and some appetizers after a round of golf, in fact had my best game! Stopped by today after a round of golf, sat at the patio, had a gorgeous view out to the course and 3 of us shared the pepperoni pizza - which is to die for: thin crust and melt in your mouth as well as the spicy chicken lettuce wrap. The spicy chicken lettuce wrap was so so, not something i would order again - chicken kinda tasteless and the supposedly spicy korean chili sauce is not spicy at all, more on the sweet side and again, not much flavor. I also ordered the house wine, but did not know that it doesn't come from a bottle, so if you like wine, don't order the house wine, order the wine from the regular menu. Customer service was good though, as soon as I told one of the Manager the housewine is not to my liking, he allows me to order something else. As residents of Tsawwassen we really wanted to enjoy our time here, but unfortunately we were disappointed (again). Our hopes were high in the beginning and things were looking good when we got fish tacos and truffle fries for starters, but the main courses were quite a let down. Some descriptive used for the salads were: 'wilted, jilted and sad' 'over-dressed and underwhelmed (too bitter)' 'good amount of avocado' Some descriptive words for the fish and chips were 'fries could be crispier' 'fish was delish' 'but also the service took a very long time so by the time my fish got in front of me I was not hungry any more because I filled myself up on the delicious truffle fries 5/5 stars would recommend those. The only good thing about this trip.' Some descriptive words about the ribs were 'last weeks ribs warmed up in the microwave' 'not good.' Other low points: We all ordered mojitos and were told much later that they were out of mint, and we then had to wait much longer again to order new drinks We were brought the wrong meal Sangria was not very good had to mix it with ginger ale to make it drinkable Unfortunately we were not wowed by this restaurant and will be heading to Dairy Queen for dessert :) read more

We had a wonderful lunch experience here! We were hungry after doing some shopping at the new Tsawassen Mills; this place is a quick drive across the street at the golf course. Free parking underground. The braised beef was tender and meaty; the classic burger was one of the best burgers I've had. The only negative to the lunch was the small coffee cup so the server had to refill several times. Price was reasonable considering the quality and atmosphere. Service was very good. Likely will not return here. I came here a week ago with my partner to celebrate him. It was clear it was a celebration. We ordered a bottle of wine, and some appetizers, all of it mediocre. I ordered the chicken piccata there were literal pieces of paper in it and chicken seemed very off. My partner ordered a pepperoni pizza. His pizza was entirely soggy in the middle. There was next to no sauce on it. Honestly I've worked in the food industry and try not to say anything after all this was a celebration for my partner. We said nothing. But honestly what really got me was this... they brought my partner a dessert out to say congrats.. and charged me for it. I've never expected anything for free. But I literally paid for something I didn't order. I can't shake it. Something about that doesn't sit well. Needless to say we will not be back. read more

We had a table outside with the view of the golf course and the Big Dipper (dining under the stars). Our server was friendly and chatty, brought me my decaf coffee three times. The steak was cooked medium rare, just as I wanted. They didn't have cocktail sauce for my fries, but no one in Canada does (I think I have to sneak my own that I buy I the Superstore :) ), but they offered to mix it up.
