    Sausage and clams
    Anjali M.

Great Spanish tapas spot! We loved the name as native New Yorkers. Started with the hibiscus soda which was tart and really well made. We got the Barcelona board and clams and sausage. The board had salami, coppa, and prosciutto and you could tell they were high quality meats. The clams and sausage was our favorite, the sauce it was cooked in was delicious especially with the Foccacia. The chickpeas were a nice touch as well. The portions were filling even when sharing them with someone else. The service was attentive and very friendly, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the interior had a slightly upscale vibe but it was a very chill spot and you don't feel out of place even if you dress.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would highly recommend!

Came to Victoria as a stop for a cruise and i started looking for places to eat - what got me with this tapas bar is the name of their cocktails-all Depeche Mode songs and I'm a big DM fan! So we went! This place did not disappoint-from the ambiance to the drinks and food and service! If you are ever in Victoria this is a must try for their tapas. We ordered a dozen oysters, the gambas, ceviche and anchovy. Everything was amazeballs good!

Tapas. Cocktails. Lively. Great small plates. We had the shrimp and the potatoes with jamon and manchengo. Mmm. Manhattan is great. Try it. I think you'll enjoy it.

Tapas is the way to go!! It's like family style and allows you try so many dishes. My favorite dish (A MUST) is the beef carpaccio. The flavors and textures were complemented each other and perfect. Looks/cleanliness- The location wasn't too busy on a Sunday night around 7! The whole place was also very clean and the lights were dim. Definitely a cute place to have a meal!

Delicious food, wonderful service and chill ambiance! I was curious to try out this place on vacation because they offer tapas and it was so good, we came here twice! Ordered: Beef carpaccio Spanish chorizo Patatas something Bodega board Spanish crème brûlée Piquillo pepper My favorite was the beef carpaccio, that's the main reason we came back. Everything else was also very good and flavorful tapas. They also have non-alcoholic cocktails, which is fun for non-drinkers! 100% recommend!

Stopped here on a port of call for an Alaskan cruise. Last night of our cruise - and the best food of the week! Loved the outdoor table, friendly and helpful server, delicious new (to me) wine on her recommendation, and our meals. My friend had the seafood pasta and I had the vegetarian cubanette sandwich. I'm home now scouring the internet for anything like that recipe, it was so unique and delicious. Excellent, relaxing, beautiful spot to enjoy a quiet corner of downtown Victoria.

This was the best place we ate in Victoria. Tons to choose from on the menu, and while it's tapas, the portions are substantial. The beef carpaccio was incredible. So much layered flavors, and the meat was melt in your mouth thin. The cheese board had three different cheeses, figs, jam and bread. Cocktails were unique and well crafted. Quick and friendly service. This is a smaller restaurant, so I'd recommend a group smaller than 5, but you could always call ahead and see what they can accommodate you. Would be perfect for date night or a smaller group . I can't wait to go back!

Food, Service and Ambiance was perfect. We tried many of the small plates and still need to go back for more. This place is amazing and very friendly service and attentive staff. The drinks are wonderful, they know how to make a great Manhattan. If you had a choice between the other restaurants around or this place, this would be my choice. As someone that travels for work and mainly eats out this place is perfect.

Second time here! Never a disappointment! Food is outstanding. Comfortable little room. Friendly service. Sat in front of the chefs preparing the dishes this time which was awesome. Coming back on my next visit to Victoria for sure!

    Highly recommend the pinto trio.

The vibe in the restaurant was nice. Felt like we were teleported away for a few hours. Everyone was chatting away eating. It was an open space, but not hard to have a conversation. Our waitress was prompt and attentive. She made great recommendations on wine and food. We ended up taking advantage of their special shared tapas menu for two at $59.50 CAD. I ordered some wine by the glass to go with some of the dishes. We didn't have any preference in the order, so our waitress brought things out as we finished. The spread included bacon wrapped stuffed dates, chorizo puffs, salad, veggies, croquettas, patatas bravas, prawns, beef short ribs, and a chocolate mousse-like dessert. Everything was so tasty! It starts off so well with the bacon wrapped stuff dates and you think there will be a dip in taste at some point. I believe the only dish we didn't finish were the veggies, done ratatouille style, we were pretty full so we chose not to finish this one and make sure we could eat dessert. She did figure out I was american when I tried to give her my credit card. I always forget they bring those credit card devices to your table outside the US. I would definitely go back to try some of the other menu options.

The bun was incredibly fresh, light, and pillowy, while the pork belly was melt-in-your-mouth tender with the perfect balance of richness and tang from the kimchi. The pickled vegetables added a bright crunch that tasted incredibly fresh. We started with the salmon tartare, and it was phenomenal! Rich, buttery, bursting with flavor, and so good we were literally fighting over the last bite. And the scallop? Order one for each person. Seriously. It's far too delicious to share. It had just the right amount of heat, leaving the perfect lingering warmth that immediately made us want another. Do yourself a favor and give yourself enough time to work your way through the menu, because every dish we tried was outstanding. There was an interesting smell at the entrance when we first walked in, but luckily we were seated in the back room. As recommended, we ordered family style to try a variety of dishes. Endive salad - can't really go wrong with the classic combination of apple walnut and goat cheese, however many larger pieces of endive were quite bitter. tater tots - nice presentation with the cubes. The tots were perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Paired well with the jalapeño ranch, and the lumpfish caviar was a fun addition. Beef tartare- the beef was fresh and flavor was good overall. However the toast was only cut in half, made it hard to eat or cut into. Middle of the toast also got a little too soft from the juice. Fried chicken - solid fried chicken, the meat is tender and well seasoned, crispy on the outside. The semolina cube didn't add much for me, but the 3 hot sauce added a nice balance of heat and acidity. Ling cod - The fish was tender and cooked well. Surprisingly, the cabbage really stood out. Service was a bit slow, we had to flag down our server for refills. Overall we enjoyed our meal, every dish was well prepared, but nothing truly stood out as memorable. We did appreciate it being farm-to-table, and the commitment to source ingredients locally.

The interior smelled a bit funny near the entrance but luckily we got sat down into the back room. The interior was a very dark, date night vibe. Endive 3/5. Not the biggest fan of the salad; they also picked some larger leaves of endive which made it bitter. It was a very light dish with the goat cheese, walnut, and apple. Tater tots 4/5. Fried potato hash brown cubes paired with a ranch sauce with lumpfish caviar. Decent dish, we enjoyed it but it could've used some acidity. Beef tartare 3.5/5. Solid tartare but the bread needed to be cut into more bite sized pieces and this style of bread also ended up soaking up a lot of the raw meat juices. Ling cod 4.5/5. The fish was tender and cooked well. The best item on this dish was the cabbage, which was very well seasoned. Fried chicken 4/5. Solid fried chicken paired with semolina cubes. Overall we enjoyed the meal. Not every dish was a hit but the farm to table concept is much appreciated for being in Victoria BC and sourcing meats and produce from nearby or in Abbotsford.
