So freaking slow I had to wait 40 mins for an order I placed 30 mins ahead of time !!!!!

First time visit. The atmosphere and food are good, very much reminds me of a chain type restaurant. Nothing really special. I'm not overly amazed by the food. Don't give me wrong, the food is very edible and worth eating but not an amazing five-star type food experience. In my opinion It's not worth saving up money just to eat here. But appears to me that most of the people eatting here do not have trouble paying for food. I will probably not come back because it's not that memorable experience. If friends or family tell me to meet them here I will eat here again. Not bad, not great, certainly not that memorable. read more

Tried out Pastini tonight. Overall, I don't love it. I probably wouldn't go back honestly. The service was great, the ambiance was pretty (kinda weird cause they were playing 70s, 80s which is weird for an Italian place?). It looked like the place had pretty outdoor seating and they had great deals on drinks (sangrias for $4 during happy hour!!) however, their food was very forgettable. I got the lasagna and it was just marginal. Pastini is good if you're looking for a very Americanized Italian cuisine and a vibrant setting. read more

Pastini - Four Cheese Lasagna - Italian Near Me - Eugene, Oregon

I went here on opening day with my family. I'm friends with one of the waiters who recommended this place to me. I'm a picky eater and a vegetarian but this place was perfect. You can switch the meat out of most items, there's a nice amount of vegetarian pastas compared to meat pastas. Service was great probably because we are family of one of the waitresses. The place is perfect for picky eaters and kids and offers takeout. The decor is open and modern. read more

For the record I liked my pasta dish. However, the pasta of the day was stuffed shells and they were out by 6:30pm and they only serve macaroni and cheese on wednesdays.... a friend got the fettuccini Alfredo and it was very dry. I remember ordering it before myself and having to asking for more Alfredo sauce. It's good for lunch but not for dinner. Kind of cheap and mediocre. Personally, I'd prefer to spend an extra $5 for a dish at Ambrosia or Beppes. Every dish has blown me away at both of those restsurants.. Pastini is good for lunch if you're tired of Olive Garden... read more

It was the night before the Eugene Marathon, and we had guests from out of town, one of whom would be running the following day. Carb loading must have been on the minds of everyone in town, as the restaurant was very busy. We were told the wait would be 45 minutes or so. Unfortunately the difficulty in approximating the wait time was exacerbated by several diners who decided to hold tables long after their meals were finished. The Pastini staff did a great job keeping the waiting guests apprised of the situation, but the wait time was well over an hour. Leisurely dining, and good conversation over pasta and wine are certainly things to be enjoyed, but when you're at a restaurant with people lined up out the door, show some empathy and free up the table when you're finished eating. After we were seated the service times fell well within expectations for a busy restaurant, and the wait staff was friendly and quite attentive. The menu was extensive enough that I had difficulty choosing from several options. I very much enjoyed the meal, spicy shrimp pasta with just the right amount of heat. The rest of our party seemed happy with their choices as well. Overall, a great experience. Witnessing the staff at Pastini maintain their composure while under fire, and work together as a team to deliver the best possible experience, is testimony to a well managed establishment. I will return. read more

2nd time; 1st wasn't great, but this time was terrible! The waitress (Janet) should be doing something else. She started out by taking down to us about drink selections. She never asked if we wanted water. We ordered the Penn Cove clams for an appetizer, but they were the worst we have ever been served; that should have been our clue. Followed up with main entrees of Cavatappi Primavera for my wife and the Stuffed Shells for me. She was served the Capellini Pomodoro instead and it was very bland; not at all what we expected. The server never came back to check on our food until I was almost finished. Never offered anything else or had the manager come to talk to us. The filling in the Stuffed Shells was mushy. We definitely won't give them a 3rd chance. read more

Their happy hour is a must. $6.50 for a delicious portion of lasagna. $3 for a generous serving omg if garlic bread. You'll need the bread to pick up all the leftover sauce and cheese. read more

The restaurant was amazing. I meant girlfriend here for a weeknight dinner as I have never been. It has a very urban five and parking is easy as they have a new parking structure built on the hotel that it is located inside of. Customer service was excellent the servers were funny and fast and super nice and took care of us well. I had the baked penne with sausage and it was perfect. I understand that the ravioli on Tuesday nights is also outstanding. Eugene has been looking for a good Italian restaurant that you can actually get into on a weeknight for a long time and I think we have it now. read more

Yummy food. I called to ask for their help for my daughter's bday dinner there with her friends. Megan, the manager, and her staff were accommodating, friendly and helpful. The kids got fabulous service and were very happy. Thank you! read more

I have ordered dinner twice from Pastini's in Eugene during the Pandemic when everything has been shut down. Pastini's delivered meals have been beautifully prepared and quickly delivered. In fact both times the meal was delivered before their targeted delivery estimate. A great experience and much appreciated since I'm ordering for seniors in Eugene from Beaverton. It was accomplished smooth as silk with the recipients delighted with their meals! read more

Ok, let me say first that I'm not really a pasta kinda buy but I certainly do appreciate a good plate of Spaghetti and Meatballs now and then. I read a few good reviews about Pastini's so yesterday I set out in the rain looking for the place. I knew it was in the Oakway shopping center so I walked around and around, asked this person and that person, asked at a couple Oakway shops and finally found it sitting in the strip of shops and eateries right along Oakway Road. Ok, great. I go in, and was greeted with a nice warm smile and was seated at a table right by the window. First thing I noticed was how large, upscale, open, nice and clean it was. Then the a very pleasant waitress with a happy, bubbly personality brought me a menu and took my drink order, IPA for me, of course. I pretty much knew what I wanted so when she got back with my IPA I laid it on her. Spaghetti and Meatballs for me please. We both laughed and joked about this and that and off she went to submit my order to the kitchen. By the time I took a few swallows of my beer and got my book open which was probably less than 10 minutes she was back with my dinner. Jees, I wasn't expecting that soon, it had to been some kind of record. So anyway, I picked up my knife and fork and started in on it and, Oh My Gosh, was I ever stunned and how delicious it was! Seasoned just right, the meatballs were very light and tender, and hands down, this was by all means the very best Spaghetti and Meatballs I have ever had anywhere through out my travels. Note that this review is based only one visit but I would have to say that my visit to Pastini's was, all the way around, a very positive experience. Keep up the great work, folks... I will be back... ;) read more

Pastini - We ordered the chicken Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken & Spaghetti Carbonara! - Italian Near Me - Eugene, Oregon

This wasn't what I was expecting.. the prices are kind high for what you'll be eating.. 14 - 16 dollars ranging for a lot of the pastas. I got the fettuccine alfredo with chicken I highly doubt the pasta is made anywhere near this restaurant.. Maybe I went in with expectations too high, either way I don't think I'll return.. read more

The food was good and I think it was priced well for what we had. I thought it was a fancier place but it is actually pretty casual. I'm not a huge fan of the open concept restaurants are going for right now, everyone seems really close together, but we got a booth and that seemed better to me than the open floor tables. It was a busy Saturday night but our wait was not long and we could order wine right in the waiting area. Overall they were good and I would definitely go back. read more

My wife and I had lunch here after hearing how good it was from a friend. Our waitress was extremely pleasant and checked on us multiple times. The two entrees and the tomato basil soup we had were extremely good. Perhaps the most flavorful I have ever had! We will be stopping here regularly when we are visiting Eugene! read more

Fact #1: One of their servers tested positive for covid-19 on Tuesday. 6/30/2020. Fact #2: The pastini management staff has YET to reach out to all employees regarding their co-workers infection. Fact #3: Servers who have been in direct contact with the infected as early as LAST SUNDAY are STILL uninformed by management OR the owners and have NOT been tested YET and are scheduled and EXPECTED to come into work to serve the public. Fact #4 Turning a buck should NEVER be more important then PROTECTING your patrons, your family of workers and the families of theirs. Please reconsider going to Pastini's until they do the right thing and clean up the restaurant 100% from silverware to staff. read more

Great food and service. Scott our waiter helped us order menu items that were perfect for what taste we were in the mood for. The house salad has a nice mixture of lettuce and other vegetables and we both liked the house dressing. This was our first time, but definitely not our last. read more

The fettuccine alfredo was dry. I complained, they gave me a side of sauce and then charged me almost 3 bucks for sauce without even telling me. Plus is was so salty. Soooooo....your not happy with your food and they charge you to correct it. Charged 10 bucks to add two meatballs to my kids spaghetti. Drinks were small. Like half a regular martini glass, and still almost 9 dollars. Ugh. My meal was over 100 bucks. For what? I am so disappointed at the quality of food, the charge for corrections, and just the overall nickle and diming for mediocre pasta. I have no problem dropping money on a great meal. Will never go back again. read more

We ordered to go. I ordered a kids meatball pasta & Fettuccine w/ chicken. The portions were the same and the fettuccine was 11$ more. The food was good. No problem with that just portions extremely small read more

Google maps suggested this place. The staff were so friendly and pleasant. The place was clean and the decorations were great, especially their back wall. The food was wonderful! The portion was enough to be filling but not an obnoxious amount like so many restaurants do. Fresh made pasta- wow, the difference is night and day. And the prices? I was very pleasantly surprised when I received the check, talk about reasonable. They hit it out of the park with ambience, staff, and food. Will definitely be back. read more

Food is fine but the delay delivering on line orders is ridiculous. More than 30 min late.

We were visiting Oregon and found Pastini on Yelp. Good food and great location. Server could have been more attentive.

Very good service and food. The Alfredo was superb. Fried shrimp appetizers excellent.

This is a great restaurant for authentic pasta. I had the Carbonara and it was perfect. The friendly staff made it that more enjoyable. We will go here again next time we are in town. read more

We had a great experience overall. We came at peak dinner hour and were still seated in a timely manner. We sit down and our waitress came and told us they will be giving us an appetizer, on them, then she answered all our questions about the menu. She was prompt throughout our meal. We could also see her bringing our dishes out from the kitchen and she noticed the garlic bread wasn't hot so she sent it back. SO THOUGHTFUL. Food was hot and super tasty! read more

Thanks to Pastini for helping us out today. Much Love! Went there this morning as soon as they opened to grab lunch for the Air Traffic Controllers at the Eugene Airport who at the time were still working without pay. I love a great Italian dish and I love making them. Most places I go to I feel I can make it better. Pastini's isn't like that! Every dish I have tried I have loved. My two favorites so far is their Butternut squash ravioli in a buttery sage sauce and their fettuccine Alfredo. So rich and flavorful. I just tried their short rib braised ravioli and the flavors were amazing! If you haven't been you should! read more

The meatball(s) were remarkably tasty: meat, sauce. If one could bring his own wine, beer on Meatball Monday....

CANT VISIT IF WE CANT PARK... Always top notch ingredients and food, their accuracy on to go orders has also been about the best in town. Weve been going quite a bit. Recently had a family member pass away, was picking up an order. There are two good spots to park outside of Pastini. I pulled up in the non handicap spot and was immediately getting bothered by the new security officer who just could not leave us alone. I did not want him starting chit chat with my grieving friends. I ask him why he needs to know so much about why im parked in a REGULAR spot? We all end up irrated. We come back a few days later for a big order, $160 w tip. Rodriguez, who he said his name was, is there again and immediately starts harassing and filming family, and myself despite us saying you do not have my permission. Regardless, this guy needs to go. Terrible attitude even after we told him were grieving for a family member. So now we refuse to eat at Pastini, or even go to Oakway, this was ridiculous, insensitive, unnecessary, rude and caused the whole family to be up set. CANT VISIT IF WE CANT PARK. What a dolt. read more
