The restaurant's color scheme is very "latte", as the main colors are white and beige and only one part of the wall is red. Daughter ordered the fried flounder with 2 over easy eggs and grits with wheat bread. She said that the fish was nicely fried and crunchy. It didn't need tartar or cocktail sauce. She said it was her first time eating a breakfast item like this and her taste buds had never felt this sensation before. LOL. Hubs ordered the pinto con chorizo with sunny side up eggs. The server warned him that the sausage was spicy, but he didn't care. When we came here, Hubs didn't expect Hispanic food for brunch and was so surprised and so happy. He was happy that he got rice and beans instead of home fries and what a delightful change! The chips were also nice and crispy. Lastly, I had waffles with mixed fruit. I LOVED my waffles because it was nice and crunchy. The mixed fruit were bananas, strawberries, grapes and blueberries. They were a nice touch. I was asked if I wanted whipped cream and I said yes. Coffee was freshly brewed and it was nice and strong. It wasn't ordinary diner coffee. Hubs was happy about getting his cup refilled. Service was fast and really friendly. The waiter was always smiling. Parking is street parking. When we were there, it was free parking. Neighborhood was a bit sketchy, though.
