Not normally one to complain or leave a bad review, but I felt like it would be wrong for me to not share my experience. I don't know if this was particular to the meal I ordered, or the fact that it was for take out, but this was such a meager portion to receive. The quality of the food is really good and the customer service was satisfactory, but the portion is far too small to even be considered a meal. Maybe ordering something else from here is a safer bet for your money? Very disappointing because I enjoy the food here and would like to continue to be a customer. read more

Pasta Pronto - Shrimp Scampi with Fettuccini - Italian Near Me - Redding, California

DO NOT EAT HERE. They forgot to put meatballs on my wife's angel hair pasta (how do you forget the protein on a pasta? Inexcusable). I gave them a call and the manager, instead of refunding us or delivering the meatballs, just said they would give us free meatballs next time. Terrible service and bad food. WILL NEVER EAT AT PASTA PRONTO AGAIN. read more

The food was really good, nothing to complain about there. We ordered curbside since I had kids with me and the weather was so hot. Text communication and use of website was easy. I followed instructions when I got there and texted 1 for them to bring out food. They didn't come. So I went inside. The Hostess? Who greeted me asked me how many I told her I had curbside. There was a lady at the bar who said, you do curbside? The hostess tells her, no to go.. I took my food and when I turned the corner out of the hostess sight I heard her tell the woman at the bar.. it's too hot outside I am not taking her curbside out. I was in shock and sad I tipped when I ordered... if it's too hot then say it on your site but I hope a manager reads this and teaches his/her employees some customer service skills. read more

First time ordering from them. It was amazing, best pasta I've had. To top it off I ordered it through doordash and right before they closed. Everything was hot and so good. Portions were good too. Definitely earned my business. I'll be back soon. read more

I don't know what to say, except this is nothing special and in the time it takes to boil a pot of noodles and dump a jar of sauce on them you could have the equivalent meal. I ordered the cheese tortellini with marinara sauce and fettuccine Alfredo with mushrooms and artichokes both of the dishes were incredibly salty. The marinara sauce had a bite to it/a tang that shouldn't be in a traditional marinara sauce. Don't get me wrong the sauces weren't bad, they just weren't homemade. If they were homemade someone needs another recipe because in the future I will just pick up some frozen fettuccine Alfredo at Trader Joe's or Costco, same with the cheese tortellini and choose my favorite jarred sauce. It's just not worth the money for something that's just OK/frozen food service fare. read more

Extremely disappointed. I ordered dinner tonight off of DoorDash and my pizza that was burnt and hard as a rock and cold, my pasta was so extremely overcooked that it turned to mush when touched, there was no chicken On my chicken Alfredo, I spent $40 for portion sizes for a child and everything was flavorless, and my pasta bowls were crushed and spilt all inside the bag. read more

Nothing special, good when you're on the way home and don't want to cook. Pasta is fine and tasted good, there are simply no frills and sadly no passion. The staff seems to be working by the hour and doing precisely what they were told to do. Maybe if the owner is here and loves what they're doing they're might be a warmer "vib." This could be a really great place for a quick supper, but I immediately felt that I wanted to grab my food and go. Just somehow not inviting. I took it back to the hotel. read more

My friend got pasta there & there was a beetle in her food. The waitress didn't do anything about it but make a joke about her getting "protein"! They didn't give her a refund or apologize to her! It should really be 0 out of 5 stars. read more

A great place to get a quick dinner with the kids. Lots of pasta and sauce options to satisfy even the pickiest eaters. We got a pasta, a ravioli and the eggplant parmesan and had plenty to split between the four of us. Nothing fancy.. you order at a counter...but it works when you want a quick meal with little ones in tow. read more

The pasta to me isn't good at all, salads are very well though and always fresh. They say it comes with garlic bread but it's literally a thin slice of white bread with butter and garlic salt. read more

I really should give this place five stars. The pasta and pizza is delicious. For some reason I love their salad more than any place else. I can order over the phone and pickup, for this working mom, it makes it all the better. I guess I don't have any cons. read more

Food is quick but when ordered for take out. They gave us hardly any pasta and no forks or knives. Service inside was just as bad, having to wait while someone cleans up the counter area before being helped. Overall head there if u have extra time and money. Pasta Pronto - Full side of pasta huh...yeah makes me wonder what a half size looks like... - Italian Near Me - Redding, California

Food was delicious and service on point. Great place for two or a big group. Everything is extremely clean and sanitary. Big TV to watch sports as well as enjoy an adult beverage. read more

My goto place for a quick pasta lunch. Friendly and consistent are words I would use.

The best place in Redding for Italian food, way better than Olive Garden taste wise and price wise. The owners are friendly and treat you like family as soon as you walk through the door! I usually order the scrimp scampi or chicken Alfredo, both are so delicious I feel like ordering both most of the time! I just wish they would give you bigger portions, I even ask for extra noodles and it seems as if they just give you a tiny spoonful, either way can't complain. Love this place! read more

Checked this place out because it seemed highly rated on yelp. I wasn't impressed. I got take out, so I can't speak to the service, but I wasn't impressed with the interior. Food was pretty bland, and the portions are fine, but the fact that they put them in HUGE containers makes it look like they skimped on the pasta. Salad was not bad and a good value. This place is pretty cheap...so, there's that. Oh, and that parking lot is terrible. Will continue to seek a good Italian take out place in Redding. read more

My mom and I have been craving good pasta but we are on a budget. I found this place here on yelp. Once again I wasn't steered wrong. We ordered the meal combo with salad pasta and a drink for around $10 total. Huge portions. The pasta was perfect and hot and creamy. We both had the carbonara. Delish! We have found our pasta place. read more

*****BUYERS BEWARE***** I ordered at this location estimated ready in 7-15 minutes when we arrived 49 minutes later was advised it would be at least 30 more minutes and that my card had already been refunded only to discover I was charged twice. When I called to discuss I was placed on hold for over five minutes then was asked for a call back because they were "too busy". I advised that it's clear they don't care for my business and I will take it elsewhere. Please steer clear of this location unless you want hungry kids and frustrations. read more

I will not give it 5 stars so I do not raise expectations too much. I think this place has very flavorful pasta dishes ala that place with olive in the name. But I think this place has better tasting pasta - with more flavor and the prices are more reasonable. This is definitely more fast casual than casual. I also have read that the staff is not friendly- this has never been the case when I have been there. I think they try hard to make sure that you are taken care of but there is definitely not a "wait staff". I really like the pasta carbonara and the fettuccini. If you are looking for pasta with a no frills atmosphere- this is your spot. read more

I was really impressed with their shrimp and fettuccine Alfredo. Well cooked and flavorful. Service was courteous. Will definitely return.

I got food delivered through the delivery service they partner with and was pretty impressed! I was pregnant and craving Italian food and this was super yummy. I got cheese ravioli. Pretty good for "fast" Italian food. I will go back. read more

Kinda upsetting they wouldn't take my coupon , that wasn't expired, nor was anything wrong with it. Got treated like I was a being a mooch cause i asked them to use it. He states "we haven't worked with the company who did this coupon for years, but guess I can try" didn't even try had to ask him multiple times. Spent all this money and would have went somewhere else if this coupon wasn't going to be valid read more
